Tsumi Kake Tensei Ryoushu no Kaikaku

Episode Five: Silver Extension Sticks

Sola takes Lulu out into the crossing that connects the Daiki Hall to the factory.

There was a slight leak of magical light from the factory floating in the darkness of the night.

Open the heavy door and go up the stairs.

"Sania, is the work going well?

Sola spoke to Sania, who was looking down the first floor from the hallway of the upstairs section.

With her face up, Sania looks at Sola's face and looks surprised.

"What happened to the mask?

"It's just inside here, you don't need it. The salon and Rose are asleep."

Sola stood next to Sania and looked down at the ground floor.

The work seems to be progressing without delay.

"Is there anything you don't understand?

"It's okay. Because the working procedure is no different from the way a compact wood is made."

"The principle is different."

When Sola casually returns the words, Rhulu, who was also stranded on the railing, reacts.

Sora grinned bitterly as she received a gaze asking for an explanation.

"Similar to pressurized wood, the raw materials are put into mould and pressurized, then baked and consolidated. As Sania said, working procedures don't change much."

Sola pointed to the ground floor.

It was only by switching the magic formation and changing the output, but it was diverting most of the equipment.

This high degree of applicability is magical.

Sola takes Sania and Rhulu down to the ground floor.

Metal powder brought from the science laboratory and a silver extension stick, one turn smaller than the standard made by Sania, were prepared.

Lay the metal powder, which is the ingredient, and place the silver extension stick on top.

The front, rear, left, and right fixing moulds were placed, and metal powder was packed in the gap with the silver extension rod, and the metal powder was also swayed over the silver extension rod.

It takes the form of a metal powder that completely covers the perimeter of the silver extension rod.

"Compressed wood is a way to compress and consolidate wood. It will inevitably increase in density"

Sora moved on to explain the difference as she finished getting ready and went back upstairs.

"However, in this case, even if the metal powder is pressed and consolidated, a void can be created between the powder and the powder. Compared to melted sticks, the density drops from 10% to 30%."

There are several methods of metallurgy.

Heat and beat metal, forging except impurities can be laborious and costly, but can make durable products.

Casting that pours molten metal into the mould is less laborious or costly than forging, but inferior in strength.

And what Sola is doing this time is a method called powder metallurgy.

Place the powdered metal in the mold, apply pressure and shape, then cook and solidify.

The sintering temperature is considerably lower than the melting temperature of the material metal and the cost of fuel and equipment is lower.

In principle, it is a method close to pottery.

The problem is strength.

Products obtained from powder metallurgy are less dense and cannot be used for weapons, etc.

However, low density is also an advantage over castings and forgings.

Sola explained, nodding in a way that Rhulu was convinced.

"I wondered what to do because the example silver is nearly twice as heavy as real silver, and you had that trick."

"Oh, I'm gonna have to put my ass on the weight of a pure silver stick"

Arriving upstairs, Sola gave instructions to Sania to activate the magic formation.

Sora asks Sania, looking down at the sight of magic activating.

"How long will it take to finish molding all the prepared materials?

Sania looks at the mountains and the rest of the ingredients loaded, schedules and answers Sola.

"A week or so"

"A week..."

─ ─ It is three months early until the finished product is confused, depending on the price of the groceries….

Sola predicts the rate of progress of the plan.

Having finished her ideas, Sola turned to Sania.

"I can afford to spend two weeks to the extent that I have no problems. Don't push it."

Sola cares about Sania's body because she usually remains in business.

But then Sania shook her head.

"Master Sola is fine, but I can't take much time. The introduction of new ships will increase transport capacity, so we can't keep up with demand unless we increase our stocks of pressurized wood, can we?

"Oh, that's the thing..."

Hearing Sania's concerns, Sola answers with a broken tooth.

"I intend to cancel the watering of the new ship."

To the abrupt decision, Sania and Rhulu looked at each other.

Make sure we have the same questions on each other's faces and look at Sola.

"... there's a reason, isn't there?

"There's no way a two-headed alliance cowed by Holger and Zasha would surrender where they showed off their transport and threatened them"

There is no other way to destroy it.

Since Chaff and Yella are more likely than not to have been attacked on the road, even if they leave behind a bi-headed alliance, the outside world is sometimes bad.

Llulu is convinced by Sola's explanation and leans his neck.

"Abort, not postpone?

Sora nods and opens her mouth.

"When this disturbance converges, we're going to open some kind of ceremony instead of a water supply ceremony to show off."

Hear what Sola says and look like Rhulu can't understand more and more.

When will the new vessel begin to operate when the water supply ceremony is cancelled and an alternate ceremony is held?

It was not conceivable that Sola, who hated waste, could simply decorate the finished new ship because of it.

In other words, by the time the ceremony is held, we should assume that the new ship is flying into service, and the reason for this is...

I guess it came to a reason, Rhulu grinned.

Sania, who seems to have arrived at the same conclusion next door, looks frightened.

"I'm looking forward to your reaction."

"Master Sola and Lulu are all mean."

Sania's terminal acclaim overlaps the dialogue that Ryu spoken of in a prank manner.

Sola glanced over her shoulder and showed her.

"I don't want to give information to the enemy. If you feel the exit will be cut off, the enemy will escape. When that happens, it's a draw."

There was a malicious plan behind Sora's brain to excuse, like pouring a little water into the nest hole of an ant.

─ ─ We have to hide the pawn that determines the checkmate.

Sora shrugged in her heart and smiled at the hunter.
