Then she took the red envelopes she’d prepared earlier from the dressing table and gave one to each of them. "These are the New Year’s gifts from Grandma, wishing you a year of safety, health, and happiness!"

"Thank you, Grandma!"

"Grandma, I want to give you a kiss!" Dolly said sweetly.

Kristina Kingston smiled warmly, held the children’s shoulders, and squatted down in front of them. "Come, come, give Grandma a kiss!"

Gigi and Dolly kissed her face from both sides simultaneously. "Grandma, I love you!"

"Grandma, I love you too!"

Two big, sweet kisses landed! Along with the children’s declarations, Kristina Kingston’s heart was filled with joy.

Gigi suddenly noticed there was another red envelope on the dressing table. He curiously asked, "Grandma, who is that for? Why is there another big one?"

There are no more children in the house!

Kristina Kingston stood up, reached out to grab it, and didn’t answer directly. "Let’s go, let’s go, let’s head down for breakfast and deliver the red envelope!"

The children followed her downstairs, still puzzled, "Who is it for?"

"You’ll find out soon!" She intentionally kept it a secret.

At this point, Justin Kingston and Mia Lane were also just coming down the stairs. Seeing Kristina Kingston at the corner of the staircase, everyone quickly greeted her, "Mom, Happy New Year!"

"Happy New Year, Justin and Mia." Kristina Kingston cheerfully handed the big red envelope in her hand to her daughter-in-law. "Mia, Happy New Year. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our big family, and for enduring the hardships of pregnancy. Keep this New Year’s gift for the baby."

Mia Lane reached out to take it, smiling gently, "Thank you, Mom." Then she gestured to Auntie Zhou.

Auntie Zhou quickly brought over a delicate purple box and handed it to her.

Mia Lane accepted it and then handed it to Kristina Kingston, "This is a New Year’s gift for you. I hope you like it."

"I have a gift too?" She happily accepted it. "Let me see, let me see." Inside was a shiny necklace.

"I designed it myself," Mia Lane said with gentle eyes.

Kristina Kingston was both happy and touched. "I really love it, thank you, but from now on, don’t bother yourself with making anything for me. Get some good rest, and stop focusing on designs all the time."

"Alright, thank you for your concern, Mom."

Seeing such a harmonious scene, Justin Kingston felt quite pleased. He enjoyed this warm atmosphere, making him more motivated for his work.

Soon, Auntie Zhou informed everyone that breakfast was ready.

The first breakfast of the New Year was even more lavish than usual, with hundreds of dishes for everyone to choose from. Hosts and servants alike enjoyed the meal in an exceptionally harmonious atmosphere.

Shortly after, Butler Shelby hurried in from the yard, headed directly to the dining room, and glanced at Kristina Kingston, then at Justin Kingston, feeling reluctant to speak and disrupt the atmosphere.

"What’s going on?" Kristina Kingston’s calm gaze landed on him. "Speak, we’re all family here."

Butler Shelby said softly, "Ma’am, two people came to the gate, holding a newborn baby, and they insist... insist on seeing the owner of Emerald Cove, otherwise, they won’t leave."

A baby?

Kristina Kingston’s expression instantly changed, realizing it must be Monica Usher’s child!

Why are they bringing the baby to the doorstep?! Wasn’t their phone attitude unclear just now?!

Given the phone call from last night, Justin Kingston and Mia Lane could almost confirm that this baby was Monica Usher’s child.

After a few seconds of silence in the dining room, Mia Lane stood up, "I’ll go out and take a look."

Justin Kingston and Kristina Kingston also stood up simultaneously, following her out into the yard, heading outside.

"What baby? I want to go see too!" Gigi said curiously, putting down his milk cup, jumping off the chair, and walked outside.

Dolly quietly followed too.

Outside the grand and securely guarded gates of Emerald Cove, two nurses dressed in work uniforms were holding the baby, standing in the cold wind, looking eagerly into the courtyard.
