Seeing that it was her, Nathan Mills quickly stood up, "Mrs. Kingston is here?" There seemed to be a glimmer of hope in his long-dark eyes.

"Hello, Uncle." Mia Lane’s expression was calm as she stepped toward him and stopped in front of him, then turned her gaze to the woman lying on the bed, "Auntie Sterling hasn’t woken up yet?"

"Not yet." The middle-aged man responded softly, glancing at Carlotta Sterling, "But the doctor said she’s out of danger."

The longer he waited, the more inexplicable panic he felt; would Carlotta become a vegetable?

As long as she hadn’t awakened, he couldn’t be at ease.

"Let me take a look." Mia Lane approached the bedside and sat down sideways, taking Carlotta Sterling’s wrist to check her pulse while Nathan Mills patiently waited beside her.

The room was filled with roses of various colors, all blooming brightly, with a rich floral fragrance permeating the air, creating an incredibly romantic ambiance.

After a while, Nathan Mills asked her softly, "How is Carlotta? Will she wake up? Please be straight with me."

Mia Lane gently laid Carlotta’s hand down, stood up sincerely and seriously, and looked at the middle-aged man.

She comforted him, "Of course she will, but brain surgery is inherently quite traumatic, and recovery takes time."

With these words, Nathan Mills also felt relieved; he could wait as long as it took.

Mia Lane glanced around, smiling at the roses; she saw love and warmth.

The middle-aged man felt a bit embarrassed, but he was still happy to share, saying, "Carlotta used to love roses the most; I hope she’ll smell the fragrance she loves and wake up soon..."

Just as Old Mills finished speaking, the woman lying on the bed moved her fingers, and her closed eyes flickered.

Mia Lane was very moved, "She will definitely wake up."

"Yes, I firmly believe she will." Nathan Mills inadvertently turned his gaze and captured the lightly moving fingers.

He momentarily thought he was seeing things, but when he held his breath and looked closer, he was so excited that he missed a beat in his breathing!

"She moved, she moved! Mrs. Kingston... her fingers are moving!"

Mia Lane turned to look and saw the moving fingers as well; the gesture was clear and visible.

Old Mills hurriedly came to the bed, sat down, and grabbed her hand, calling deeply, "Carlotta, Carlotta? Carlotta, Carlotta..." "Carlotta, can you hear me speaking?"

Mia Lane quickly pressed the intercom, and not long after, several doctors rushed in.

Mia Lane stepped aside, "Her fingers just moved." Letting the doctors come to examine her.

"Doctor, her fingers moved, they moved!" Nathan Mills happily turned around, asked excitedly, "Is she about to wake up?"

"Let’s take a look." The doctors spread out, beginning the examination.

Mia Lane stood on the other side of the bed, feeling that Auntie Sterling’s complexion was much better.

Under everyone’s gaze, the middle-aged woman who had been in a coma for several days finally slowly opened her eyes...

The most excited person was undoubtedly Old Mills, whose heart pounded wildly, overflowing with joyful tears!

From a blurred state gradually becoming clear, the first person Carlotta saw upon waking up was Old Mills; their gazes met, and Carlotta looked up at him, saw the tears in his eyes, and noticed he looked much more haggard...

She felt as if she had a long, long dream, smelled the rich fragrance of roses in the air, and this seemingly dreamy and magical feeling made her very happy. Slowly, she turned her gaze and saw a room full of roses... really existing, not a dream.
