Chapter 1370: Hold Me!
Why is he in Bing City? Didn’t he say he wouldn’t come?
Moreover, when he goes out, he doesn’t open the door himself; he always has a driver or subordinates to accompany him. Why is he taking the bus today?
If She had a bit of confidence, she might have guessed that he was following her onto the bus.
However, in front of Gu Feimo, her confidence had long been lost.
Gu Feimo remained silent and wasn’t looking at her.
She blinked and lowered her head again.
Was she imagining things earlier? Clearly, he seemed to have actually spoken.
Then why did he not react at all when she answered?
Spotting an empty seat not far away, she grabbed hold of an iron bar on the bus, getting ready to move over.
Her heart was racing, as if she really couldn’t stand next to him for too long.
Anyway, he didn’t seem willing to acknowledge her; surely she could leave.
Just as She intended to step forward, the man’s deep voice sounded once more.
"Stay right here, don’t go anywhere."
He took her hand and placed it on his waist.
She stiffened completely, her hand resting at his waist, not daring to move.
"Hold on!" the man commanded.
She bit her lip, gently clutching his waist, not daring to move forward, nor to look up.
Suddenly, Gu Feimo tightened his long arms, pulling She securely into his embrace.
She wanted to break free, but realized that the bus had stopped and more people had boarded from behind.
Hearing the commotion of the crowd, she unconsciously leaned closer to him.
No matter how many people boarded, in his embrace, she always felt at ease.
Under his protection, she felt happy, but thinking about their relationship, her heart felt incomplete.
Feeling the familiar heartbeat, She forgot that she originally intended to get off the bus.
The bus started moving again, her stiff body in his embrace slowly began to relax.
Though the bus was crowded, no one dared to approach, intimidated by Gu Feimo’s cold aura.
She kept her head buried against Gu Feimo’s chest, breathing in the air tinged with his scent, even willing to let herself get lost in it once more.
But reason told her that if she remained in his embrace, their relationship would revert to its old state.
These past two days, she had been doing well, without the constraint she felt back at school.
She knew she could forget; she just had to take a break in a different location.
The bus steadied, and with no one crowding from behind, She released Gu Feimo’s waist, gently tugging at his hand that held her.
"I’m okay now, thank you." She looked up at him and said softly.
"By the way, why are you here? Are you going somewhere?"
"Jing Garden." Gu Feimo uttered two words, turning to look out the other window, "Stay here until you get off, don’t wander around."
His words were cold, heavy, even devoid of any emotion, yet they could be translated as caring.
She looked at his back, with no intention of leaving.
Even if they were just ordinary friends, meeting unexpectedly in a foreign place, made it feel like a rare companionship.
The bus started shaking again, and She reached out her hand to grab his clothes.
Jing Garden? That was her destination too.
Was this a coincidence? Or...
If it wasn’t a coincidence, how wonderful it would be!
Walking together in the famously romantic Jing Garden with someone she liked...
