The situation of the Eye of Vitality seems quite normal.

The semi-metallic, semi-biological style purple armor that Gu Xi got before, was pretty much the same situation.

Although the number of these Eyes of Vitality seems a bit much, they look as if they were directly dug out from the Octopus-headed Undead Mage.

But it doesn’t seem worth such attention from his Converted Undead subordinates.

While speaking, the Skeleton Shooter handed his bow to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi took it and found that a piece of the Eye of Vitality had been installed right in the center of the Skeleton Shooter’s longbow.

He discovered that this longbow had actually turned into a piece of Purple Equipment.

And it was obvious from the longbow’s attributes that its transformation into Purple Armor was due to the Eye of Vitality.

"How many Eyes of Vitality did you use?"

Gu Xi immediately realized why the Skeleton Shooter came to him.

"One."

As Gu Xi looked at the longbow and saw the eye wink at him, a thought crossed his mind.

"Earlier, we got a large amount of purple armor from the Octopus-headed Player, go get one for me to see."

The reason the Skeleton Shooter recovered the distributed items was entirely due to being startled by the current situation.

The Skeleton Shooter taking away Blue Armor or materials for enhancing equipment was no big deal.

But something that can directly enhance to Purple Equipment, and in such quantity, needs an explanation if not given to Gu Xi.

As he awaited for his subordinates to deliver the retrieved purple armor used as sacrifices, Gu Xi examined each of the Eyes of Vitality.

Gu Xi noted that in the description of the Eye of Vitality, there was no mention of upgrading equipment to Purple Armor.

There were only descriptions about enhancing equipment or enhancing the player themselves.

It could even be consumed.

This differs from the items Gu Xi previously obtained for upgrading equipment to Purple Armor.

Importantly, these Eyes of Vitality were somewhat plentiful.

One area was the face mask location, where two freely moving octopus tentacles hung down.

Another area was the helmet skirt position, where seven vertically aligned eyes were arranged.

The last area was inside the helmet, which seemed to be lined with porcupine skin, full of spikes.

As Gu Xi lifted the helmet, both the tentacles and eyes fixated on his every move.

It was precisely because of such an eerie sight, coupled with weak attributes and extremely strong negative effects, that Gu Xi looked down on these purple items.

However, at the moment, Gu Xi reached out and began plucking the tentacles from the helmet.

Upon removing the octopus tentacles, the helmet’s quality quickly fell to Blue Quality.

Clearly, the quality of a single Eye of Vitality does not match the effect of two tentacles.

The two removed tentacles, as if having lost their vitality, had no attributes or use.

This taught Gu Xi that these items are one-time use; once removed, there’s no putting them back together.

The reason the Skeleton Shooter and others could obtain so many Eyes of Vitality was definitely because the Octopus-headed Undead Mage had these Eyes of Vitality embedded in their body.

There is a difference between enhancing the body and enhancing equipment.

Otherwise, these already used Eyes of Vitality wouldn’t have any effect left.

After roughly understanding the usage of the Eye of Vitality, Gu Xi’s interest in them diminished.

He himself was not lacking in Purple Armor and, with the uncertainty of no other issues arising from the Eye of Vitality upgrades, this item seemed rather pointless.

The enhanced purple gear had poor efficacy, with negative effects that were off the charts.

Judging by the Octopus-headed player’s usage, a large batch of Eyes of Vitality or tentacles might be needed to ensure the Purple Armor’s effectiveness, but using too many of these items would turn the negative effects into something lethal, leaving no trace behind.

Gu Xi had Orange Armor and ways to handle the negative effects, but he saw no need for these items.

You could say he simply didn’t take them seriously.

Gu Xi thought for a moment, intending to have the Skeleton Shooter distribute them among themselves.

But just then, Dominic also arrived with his subordinates.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, Dominic loudly pointed toward a direction.
