I simply can’t do it, maybe the cavalry commander from before could pull off a sneak attack.

But his charge makes too much noise, and his mind seems a bit off, doing things bluntly, making it easy to identify his attack direction, which makes it easier to evade."

With that, Dominic, who was commanding troops in combat against the Mud Undead, immediately diverted some attention to explain upon hearing Gu Xi’s question.

Gu Xi pondered a moment and asked, "If you used the current city for defense, and I were to invade, given these circumstances, needing to kill me to turn the tide, how would you proceed?"

"There’s no good solution, I’d have to give up the current area and retreat to the next city wall for defense, exchanging space for time.

As for an ambush or assassination to flip the situation, there’s really no way."

Dominic is only a leader-tier hero, not any sort of Immortal; given these circumstances, he truly has no solution.

The best he could do is slow down Gu Xi’s attack speed and call for reinforcements.

If reinforcements could be summoned, there might be a chance to turn the tide.

If there are no reinforcements and the city gate is taken, then all hope is lost.

Dominic detailed the city defense, even putting aside his command duties.

Yet Gu Xi didn’t hear the solution he had in mind.

Seeing Dominic’s attack progress slow down, Gu Xi shook his head.

"Never mind, just proceed with the attack, take down the Assembly Hall first and we’ll discuss further."

"Alright." Dominic didn’t say anything more, "We must first seize the Assembly Hall, only possessing it makes it ours."

What Dominic said was a simple statement that suddenly opened Gu Xi’s mind.

Only possessing it makes it ours.

But what if this Death City doesn’t belong to the Octopus-headed Undead Mage?

Thinking back to when Gu Xi employed the Death Incarnation and Death City divine skills, the Octopus-headed Undead Mage’s reaction was stunned.

Clearly, he had not encountered a situation where three divine skills could be learned together.

This indicates there’s a flaw in the Octopus Head’s system.

This Death City might not be his.

If the Octopus-headed Undead Mage is not the master of this Death City, then he can do much more.

For instance, destroy this Death City.

There are numerous ways to destroy the Death City, such as burying explosives underground and detonating the entire city.

Or perhaps releasing flooding, or other spells.

This is the opponent’s territory, the Octopus-headed Undead Mage can easily execute whatever he wishes.

Once the Death City is ruined and Gu Xi is dead as well, Yalidu City would be open for vacant occupation.

The Octopus-headed Undead Mage could seize the opportunity to attack and take over Yalidov City.

Then he’d still be the Undead Mage controlling Death City, while Gu Xi would be gone.

With this thought, a gleam of murderous intent flickered in Gu Xi’s eyes.

Really knows how to play.

After a serious thought, Gu Xi moved toward the vicinity of the White Bone Pyramid Carrier.

He was seated under the obelisk that had become the White Bone Soul-Calling Tower.

Upon seeing Gu Xi approaching, he immediately opened his eyes.

"Find the owner of this city, the Undead Mage inside, regardless of what he plans to do, disrupt that plan and force backlash."

The White Bone Pyramid Carrier, upon hearing this, stood up and walked to the undead corps nearby that hadn’t yet deployed, selecting Skeleton Soldiers.

Regarding the actions of the White Bone Pyramid Carrier, Gu Xi only paused before understanding the intent.

Selecting sacrifices.

For Gu Xi, as an Undead Mage, an abundance of white bone type sacrifices was at hand.

This event had to be carried out on a grand scale.

Gu Xi couldn’t afford to lose big due to small decisions.

Understanding this, Gu Xi promptly stopped the White Bone Pyramid Carrier’s actions and performed summoning.

Utilizing the corpses of the Mud Undead freshly killed by Dominic, Gu Xi effortlessly summoned over a hundred Skeleton Soldiers.

Due to the White Bone Soul-Calling Tower and Undead Enhancement skills, the summoned Skeleton Soldiers were all formidable Level 11 Skeleton Soldiers.

Though they lacked weapons and equipment, their bones were visibly more robust and stronger than usual Skeleton Soldiers.

Also, the color of their bones showed clear changes.

Normal Skeleton Soldiers’ bones typically appear yellowish or greyish white.

But among these heightened Skeleton Soldiers, the bones ranged from a White Jade Color to Jet Black.

At first glance, these Skeleton Soldiers’ bones, having undergone Negative Energy strengthening, were premium).

Although perhaps not comparable to the Bone Dragon or Bone Titan, these were exceptional among Skeleton Soldiers.

Upon seeing these freshly summoned Skeleton Soldiers, the White Bone Pyramid Carrier paused briefly before moving to inspect them, and promptly grabbed two of the tallest Skeleton Soldiers to bring to the White Bone Obelisk.

These two Skeleton Soldiers didn’t retaliate, following along.

Upon reaching the White Bone Obelisk, the ground scattered with white bones dismantled their bodies.

Left beneath the White Bone Obelisk were just two Skulls.

After positioning the skulls, the White Bone Pyramid Carrier placed two pieces of Purple Armor on them.

He then followed Gu Xi’s instructions to act.

Gu Xi’s command was detailed.

And the handling by the White Bone Obelisk was executed according to this detailed plan.

Gu Xi only sensed the White Bone Obelisk deploying a blessing and a curse.

Afterward, the White Bone Pyramid Carrier removed two more Skeleton Soldiers, conducted another sacrifice, applied another curse and added a blessing, finally meeting Gu Xi’s requirements.

After completing everything, the White Bone Pyramid Carrier nodded toward Gu Xi.

Gu Xi may not know precisely what the White Bone Obelisk did, but he trusted the Orange Armor’s effects.

He stated that the arrangement was complete, thus it was assumed complete.

But for his own safety, Gu Xi chose to withdraw from Death City.

He only needed to wait outside the city; the battle inside could be left to his subordinates to handle.
