344. Before Jazz Class Begins
I (...) wake up that morning in Jazz Class.
Two days from today, the Jazz Class of the Martial Arts Games begins.
I just want to log in early and make the final adjustments, but they don't have a practice opponent Twa, and I don't know what else to do in that hurry.
So when I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I started preparing breakfast first.
When it comes to breakfast, it's a mediocre table with no difficulty making miso soup, grilling toast, grilling accompanying eyeballs and bacon, and adding milk.
But I'm not that good at cooking, and it's a simple izvest, I'm sure.
My sister came to the living room as well as I was having breakfast and started preparing for breakfast.
Same as me.
I knew this would happen in the morning when I wanted to be clueless!
"Lihua, is there something today?
"Yeah. There's a martial arts tournament at UW."
She's having breakfast in a bit of a hurry. Look at me, your sister asks.
You're not playing the same game, so you're not telling them what you're up to today.
"Right. Is Lihua joining us?
"Join us. Your sister coming for backup, too?
I'd be glad if you could come back for me.
"I can't because I don't have an account."
"I still have my license when I ask you out in the spring, so if you hurry up and make a character out of me, we'll make it. Hey?
"I don't want to go that far. Besides, I have work to do."
Kind of a shame the answer came back as expected.
I have a license, so I just need to make up a character.
"Oh well. Well, then, there's no choice."
"Tachihua's going to do his best."
"Yeah, thanks, sister"
I can't do it in the game, but you got backup.
And when you're done eating breakfast, login to the game as soon as possible for final adjustment.
The movement also changes slightly as the equipment is refreshed.
I need to do a lot of hard work today!
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
"Oh, Illis. You're early today."
When I was logged in to get ready, Teak Moon arrived.
From time to time, I'm sure it's early login time.
"Yuzuki, oh no. I knew I'd never been in a full-fledged people-to-people match before, so, hey, you got to be prepared."
"Sure, you might be right. In Twa's case, I don't think he cared."
Yeah, Twa didn't care about interpersonal fights or anything, did he?
Anyway, he said it wasn't something he cared about now because he had experience in martial arts, but I don't know if I can do it.
"Twa is special. You do martial arts in real life, don't you? Like me, Real is tough on people who don't exercise that much."
"I hear it's hard to fight people. But you were practicing with Twa, weren't you?
"Yeah. I practiced everything I could."
Interpersonal practice with Twa was very helpful.
Because Twa was just Archer in the beta era, and he also taught me some pretty tricky moves.
"Then you'll have to believe that practice and work hard."
"Right. Well, I've been practicing for a while."
"Yeah, good luck with that"
When Yuzuki and I break up, we go to the training center and we're ready for a people-to-people match.
Take a look through the movements taught by Twa and firmly consolidate the image.
If you look all the way through, try the usual attack and skill-turning exercises from there on ahead.
Skills focused on things with few gaps before and after an attack, and I tried a lot of combos.
I usually use my skills around things that are more powerful, but it's tough because interpersonal fights have to focus on things that have fewer gaps.
But long range skills are hard to use because they always generate pre attack prep time.
Like Twa, it would be quite different if we could focus on [fighting] in close range.
"Ha-ro. Iris, are you trying?
"Ah, Manzushahua. Ha-ro."
After a while of review at the training center, Manzushahua came this time.
Yuzuki just got it wrong in the talking room, so it looks like Manzu Shahua came all the way here.
"Looks like you're trying. Your sister's happy."
"Because I'm going to compete, because I want to go as far as the final tournament. In order to do that, I have to complete the qualifying Battle Royal, so it's tough."
Yes, the qualifying round is Battle Royale, right?
In Battle Royale it tends to be a riot, so it's disadvantageous for distance jobs.
"Battle Royal. Long-distance jobs seem tough."
"Yeah, it's tough. Twa is strong at close range, so he can't imitate it and it's not difficult."
"Twitchy moves strangely. You know, shooting out the other guy's head from close range, you know, old martial arts games, whatever you wanted."
The old twa used to shoot his opponent's head out long enough for the bow to touch his head, or stab him with an arrow in his hand without using a bow.
Opponents had difficulty capturing the pace because they were able to do both melee and ranged battles, and yet moved endlessly with [fighting] skills.
When I realized it, I could have knocked them out at some point.
"Right. They practiced, but Twa was also a gun, but he was the main brawler."
"As always, is Twitchy a close fight? You can fight with guns and stuff like that."
Fighting with guns, they showed it to me, but it's pretty cool.
If I use a bow to fight at close range, I was taught to do it on kickmain because my hands are blocked, but I wonder how far I can use it?
"Right. I have to give up what I can't do."
"I guess it'd be easier if I could imitate it."
After all, I guess Twa's movement was weird even from Manzu Shahua.
"So, how's the Iris finishing? It's almost lunch, and as soon as lunch's over, it's qualifying."
"Wow, it was already that time. We need to hurry up and have lunch."
"I didn't realize. You'd better hurry up and have dinner."
"Yeah. Thank you, Manzushahua"
I looked at the time and it was really lunch current.
Hurry up and have lunch or you'll start qualifying.
Let's do this before we get ready and go have lunch.
