Unmotivated Hero’s Tale (WN)

Days Without Heroes

Olmit district north of the Wang capital Ertbourg.

It is an area where royal universities and cadet schools are founded and is generally also recognized as a student district by humans in the Wang capital.

In such a corner of the Olmit district, there exists an Affordable Tavern called the Green Pavilion.

Students were mainly popular shops with school officials and neighbors because drinking was basically strictly forbidden.

The first floor of the store is a liquor store, which today still shows the same amount of buzz as usual.

Although the second floor of such a store is equipped with private rooms for some group guests and simple accommodation rooms, the large private rooms for the group were currently rented out by only two men.

One man is sturdy with a slightly rugged face of silver hair, the other a fox-eyed man with a nicotine look on his face.

They served face-to-face for a long time on the second floor of this Green Pavilion, which has long been familiar to them.

"... so you know where Yui is going?

"I was able to sneak into Count Rendleman's private residence and get to the point where I brought Fernando's sister. Unfortunately, he's erased his footprints by the time he's clean after that. Well, I suppose you should."

In response to Lute's inquiry, Alex replies that way with a slightly bitter look as he shook his neck from left to right.

"Damn it, that guy. You're gonna have to push us on everything."

"Hehe, not at all. So, Lute, what are you gonna do now?

In response to Lute, who spills stupidity while tongue-in-cheek, Alex asks about his future policy of activities while expressing his willingness to consent.

Lute then opened his heavy mouth after a slight cruise.

"... Hmm, do you remember the contents of that letter he left?

"Oh, it's for me and you. Of course, I remember."

In response to Lute's words, Alex replies affirmatively as it were, recalling clearly the contents of Yui's write-down, which had been prepared for the two of them.

To Alex's answer, Lute exhaled a loud sigh with a sinister look on his face.

"Unfortunately, I'll be on his painting for a while... but I'll never let him hide."

Lute gently bites his lower lip when he recalls the text 'If Clarice doesn't need his presence in the future, let him stay hidden', which was written at the end of a letter of placement addressed to them.

Alex, on the other hand, with such a lute look on his face, turned to him and presented the immediate problem with a slightly objectified face.

"Well, I don't care if you leave it, but the question is, Fernando, will you accept our cooperation?"

"Don't worry about that, Mr. Alex. I'm here to help you... because Yui made up her mind when she helped her sister."

When suddenly the voice of a young man echoes into the private room, the young men who were indoors run their gaze to the entrance to the room.

At the end of their gaze stood a young man with their well-known brown hair gently stretched out.

"Fernando...? You know this place very well."

"It's been a while. I asked him about this place."

"That guy?"

In response to Fernando, Lute wrinkles slightly between his brows.

Then, with some hesitation, Fernando spoke of the man who told him about this place.

"Yeah, to that blonde lady, I heard about this place"

"I see, the Eince guy."

Just convinced, Lute nods one thing.

Meanwhile, another red-haired man who overheard their conversation had a slightly unexpected look on his face and questioned him as he dug up an old memory that had been placed in a corner of his brain.

"Mr. Fernando. If you're sure of my memory, I remember he and you weren't very close."

"He just doesn't like me one way or the other. But, well, if you're not close, you are."

"You think you guys are in touch like that?

Alex asks Fernando as if to re-measure the person in front of him.

Then, Fernando grinned lightly and bitterly, shrugging his shoulders.

"The only place I can safely keep our sister under the current circumstances is unfortunately the Rhine family with him. That's what I mean."

The disappearance of the Countess from Countess Rendleman's residence, which is currently a fuss in the country.

Something about Lord Blau's relatives, the Lady of the Count family, who was never said to be a small nobleman, suddenly disappeared like smoke.

Since the incident became public, there has been a variety of weather within the Wang Dynasty.

Anyway, Count Rendleman was famous for his bad femininity, and more than before, there were constant rumors of fights with the lady, and because of that, Countess Coronet was even told that she was not in the social world at all.

As a result, I finally erased the lady who had gotten in the way of women's play, but the various rumors that the loving lady had escaped from under her husband were still running around the Wang capital with her tail on.

And now, at the heart of the rumor, the then Rendleman is in the middle of a desperate search for his wife while turning her face bright blue.

That, of course, was not because his beloved wife had disappeared, but because his marriage to Coronet had taken place at the initiative of Blau, the head of the House of Lords, and when she had truly disappeared, Rendleman had painted Blau's face with mud.

Although this inexplicable case of the disappearance of the Lady Rendleman, the facades gathered upstairs at the Green Pavilion have led to a fairly early conviction that the black-haired sloppy man is the culprit.

Lute and Alex therefore made no further reference to the statement itself that they had deposited their sister.

"But you're a Rhine... there's a bad feminine man in that house, too. But, well, Ains, aren't you stupid enough to get your hands on your sister?"

"Ha. That's exactly how much I trust him, Mr. Alex."

Fernando's eyes were never laughing, even trying to make him laugh lightly.

Lute, who sees his expression like that, feels only slightly anxious inside. But thinking that as much as time and case judgment would come with Eince, he drove the case about Coronet to the corner of his head.

"Unfortunately, I don't care about your relationship at this time. You said you'd cooperate with us earlier, but what exactly are you going to do?

"Right. First of all, I'm going to press charges against the House of Lords."

In response to Lute's inquiry, Fernando presents his thoughts to both of us in a clear tone that does not precipitate.

Hearing that unmistakable word of his, Lute slightly strengthened the power of his gaze.

"Accusations......? What the hell is it about?

"That is, of course, an accusation of attempted assassination of Yui Istarz."

In a kicking tone, Lute opens his eyes slightly wider than Fernando, who said something unexpected.

"Attempted assassination......" No way. That's... "

I mean, are you gonna call yourself an assassin?

In a way that blocked Lute spinning the exploratory language, Alex continued his words while releasing a worthy gaze.

"Exactly. As Mr. Lute may not know, I was ordered far away to assassinate Yui if I had the opportunity to do so when he was sent to the Empire as one of his men. That's why if I publish this truth, the House of Lords will have to construct more realistic lies than the truth. That hurdle would be higher than I thought. Because…"

"The people want to believe the heroes who came out of the common people more than the people in the House of Lords who don't like them..."

Lute whines ahead of time about what Fernando tried to put into words.

Hearing the words, Fernando nodded small and twice, just saying he was right.

"Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The people will rejoice in the scenario that the people of the House of Lords they dislike embedded their beloved heroes rather than that the heroes who saved the country's crisis suddenly abandoned themselves and disappeared. You two are, don't you think?

"... sure. You have a point."

Hearing Fernando's view, Lute nods one without pinching his mouth.

Confirming his reaction like that, Fernando went on to say more.

"Yes, and this idea has another secondary effect."

"Secondary effects? I mean, does that mean against the Empire?

Alex, who received Fernando's words, pointed out the rush and its core.

Fernando, with his answers mouthed without getting his hair in, shows a slight surprise, but the men in front of him have to rethink what a thought, and opens his mouth again.

"That's just great. As I said, you need to have the right scapegoat in place early for the Empire. It's a marriage story they've spoken of on their own, but, well, there's something about them."

"By creating the attempted assassination of Yui Istarz, you're assuming that he disappeared in front of his marriage to the Fourth Princess because he had no choice but to protect himself"

Lute, who said so, exhales one loud sigh, just saying it was a well-thought out thing.

"Yeah, that's the place. As an empire, there will remain little dissatisfaction, but sometimes marriage to the Fourth Princess was before the official announcement, and even if the House of Lords hates them, they will not be able to have enough profanity to interfere in their internal affairs."

"But Fernando. If you are to carry out the plan, you must become a traitor from the House of Lords and bear the fact that you tried to assassinate the man of Yui, the hero. Are you really going to take on that role?

Just wondering what he meant by what he was saying and if he understood the weight of the mud he was about to wear, Lute turns to Fernando and asks again.

But when Fernando smiled with a nickel, he shook his head lightly vertically.

"It's a stupid question, Mr. Lute. I have followed the House of Lords to help my sister. If you have a chance to rescue your sister from them, be it yourself or this country, be prepared to offer it to anyone. But Yui threw out everything about herself and rescued Coronet until she risked herself. If so, you can't expect me not to wear mud. [M] Most importantly, to protect that man's seat in the future."

"Protect his seat..."

Fernando's words with strong will.

Lute stares back at Fernando, hearing the message that he would defend Yui's whereabouts, which was accompanying him at the end of the day.

"Yeah. I had to stop to hide myself temporarily in order to escape the assassin's hands. That is everything involved in this disappearance of hero Yui Istarz. There is no sin whatsoever on that one, hateful are the people in the House of Lords who tried to make the hero of the Redemption a deceased, and vicious. Yui Istarz will surely appear when they are expelled and this country needs a hero again. If we let this mythical rhetoric flow all over Clarice, I'm sure the wind will be a lot different when he returns."

"A hero who shows up if he needs it. Yeah, but what a convenient existence, a hero named Yui Istarz. If he really has that expectation, he doesn't know what it's like to hide."

In response to Fernando's remarks, Lute unexpectedly utters ironic words that are none other than theirs.

When Alex heard it, he called his name to rest.

"Lute......"

"I'm sorry. It's a silence, forget it"

Lute apologizes to Fernando when he exhales a loud sigh.

Upon hearing the words of that lute, Alex opened his mouth to both of them.

"Well, shall we end the discussion then? On this occasion, Fernando-kun takes the opportunity to sweep the House of Lords out of this country and consolidate Princess Elise's political foundation. As a matter of policy for the moment, this is it, okay?

"Yes, I don't mind"

In response to Alex's call, Fernando replies without interrupting his hair.

And their gaze was directed naturally and to Lute, who still did not return the answer.

"Well, nothing. I agree. I just want to make one decision."

"... what is it, lute?

Alex twists his neck slightly with his usual grin and asks his best friend if he's going to make it.

Then the silver-haired man, whose gaze was turned, gave him a rare, nibbly grin and opened his mouth.

"What, it's the easiest thing. When it's all over, I'm gonna find that idiot, and I'm gonna push everything that's left to look exactly like it. You don't mind if I ask you about this policy, do you?

The moment Lute's statement was made into that space, the two remaining faces on the spot instantly had a grin similar to that of the speaker.
