Unmotivated Hero’s Tale (WN)

With a former friend.

Line dollar nights are early.

Sometimes that means this country is the North, but as an ancient culture, one of the reasons why there are few liquor stores that are open at night would be given.

Hui Long Pavilion, one of those limited taverns.

In one room when it existed upstairs, a young blonde young man dressed in plain but clearly tailored clothing was waiting for someone with his eyes meditating as he sat down in a chair.

I've already passed a lot of promised time, but I don't have a frustrating look on him.

That was partly due to the fact that the person we meet today is such a habitual offender of late and is completely unfamiliar with it.

"Hey, sounds like you've kept me waiting"

How much time would have passed since the youth arrived?

When the cold fruit drinks that had been served with his arrival began to warm up, a dark-haired man, who was finally the rendezvous, appeared in the room scratching his head with sorrow.

"No, I just got there, too. Don't worry."

"Ha, well. I'm sorry."

Ain, a university researcher who arrived late, understands that he cares about the young man in serious sight. That's why he lowered his back to the chair across the street with the sleaze.

"It was college day once a week, wasn't it? Because of that, he's been hanging out all morning. So how was it?

"Master Luna? Ha, he's got good arms. Instead, you got your arm up again a little bit."

I think of a certain lady who was accompanied by training earlier, and Ain answers that with a bitter laugh.

"Seems like Malfes has been training me lately...... I don't know. Too much of a wife is a troublesome seed though"

"Hasn't His Majesty the former king said anything?

"Yeah. After all, for two years, that kid was driven almost to house arrest. Now tell him to relax."

I don't know how you feel. Even with the look on your face that you don't, because of your concern for your sister, the young man shook his head once to the left and right.

"So when you're royal but you're in college, is that it? But with that activity, it's hard for people to be husbands"

"Right. If you could just... excuse me, I'm sorry. Forget it."

Remembering the first time Ain was supposed to come to the land, the young man immediately utters an apology.

With a bitter smile at the reaction of such a young man, Ain tried to make a bright voice.

"Ha, well, either way, it's good to be healthy. People and the world have never been brighter."

"With that said, how was Lina? I heard you were coming, and I've been softening up since yesterday morning."

"Lina? Oh, you prepared a meal for me this morning, too. It was a little burnt, but it was a fine eyeball grill."

Adorable lady who takes care of him around the corner when staying at this line dollar only once a week. Ain't got a soft grin when she remembers the dish she made me all stretched out this morning.

"It is. Usually, you never cook for me..."

"Come on, think about your position. In which country is there a king who burns eyeballs at his adopted daughter?"

"You know, I'm not the king today, I'm Kyle Soma, the former resistance. I'm different from the man sitting on the throne. That's how you're here, so don't forget."

Kyle tells her so in a tone that Ain't accidentally scratched her head twice.

"Setting... no, it wouldn't even be like I should rename it, at all"

"More than that, I don't want you to tell me. Ain Gotch."

"Ain't fine. Sometimes I've misspoken or forgotten my full name, so lately I've only decided to call myself Ein."

"You're old so suddenly, there's no way you'd normally forget that much."

Kyle, who knows better about the dark hair in front of him, said so with a frightened look on his face.

"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough, but age is ruthless and hard to resist."

"Something to blame for my immediate age... in the end it's about you, so I guess I'm just not interested in my name right now"

"Ha, it hurts. But if you know that much, don't ask me. Anyway, what can I do for you today?

Having realized that the story was moving in a somewhat unfavourable direction, Ain switches the talking spearhead once he breathes out a loud sigh as if he had admitted defeat.

"I thought I'd tell you about the recent developments in the West of the Continent."

"Oh, that kind of requirement...... sorry but not at all interested"

Kyle laughs just as badly when Ein breaks it off in a light tone.

"Don't say that. Because I've come this far. Besides, I'd like to know your views on the current situation in order to set guidelines for our country's actions."

"I don't have a choice... well, I got this job with my promise to talk to you once in a while, so I'll listen to you about it."

"Now, before you change your mind, hurry."

Kyle, who decides he has taken Ain's word for it, continues the conversation immediately when he shows a grin with Nicole.

"It's Clarice next door to our country first, but this is in the middle of a big rub. It is a situation in which the state is bisected by queens and House of Lords to have mutual restraint because certain heroes are gone. However, Lord Blau was by far the largest of the four Grand Dukes, and now Lord Rhine is rapidly gaining strength due to Lemuriak's direct authority, and this equilibrium is falling apart."

"Hmm, I see."

Ein strikes one gavel with a bare gesture as if he were completely HR.

Seeing that reaction of his, Kyle grinned slightly, whining bossly.

"Well, then I'm really impressed with that hall of heroes who were pre-emptive in anticipation. Of course, I wouldn't have been able to move it to execution even if I thought of it..."

"... so what do you think Clarice is going to do in the future, and how are you going to face his country?

Carefully ignoring Kyle's remarks, Ain asks as he peeks into the eyes of the young man in front of him.

"We believe that the current situation is a good way to set aside the sidelines. Perhaps in the end, the Queens will win the power battle, but it's still going to take some time for the balance to tilt completely. Since I actually figured it out, but I was wondering if it was too late to make contact."

"Hmm, a citizen of the Rhindle, I agree with you."

"Well to tell you the truth, there are many people who owe it to those who divide the current Queens to save this country. When I have to carry one of them, I will not hesitate to turn to the Queen's support."

Looking into his own eyes, Ain't scratching his head twice, looking clearly at Kyle who affirmed so.

"You don't have to worry about me."

"No, of course not without personal feelings, as I said earlier. But think calmly, the Queens are the only people this country should be worth dating in the future, right?

"... well, I can lay low for comments around there. So what happened to the rest of the country?

When Ain't slightly having trouble responding, he shrugs his shoulder slightly, he moves the topic to the next.

"Right...... so first of all, the Kelm Empire, but did his country just say that the impact of the war on Filament was shallow? We've come a long way, and we still have to keep an eye on that power in the western part of the continent."

"Sure...... right. So what about the filament?

"That country, except Dioram, is in the middle of a home commotion right now. There's a successor fight going on because you wouldn't have thought our Lord would suddenly be gone at the same time in the battle against the Empire. If it seemed to prolong any longer, the invasion might begin around the Empire... but it would probably be difficult as it stands."

Kyle tells Ain so with a slight glimpse of the poured glass of wine in front of him.

Then Ain, with his hand on his chin, questioned the young man in front of him.

"Why would you do that? Filaments are like a state of civil unrest, aren't they? It's hard to imagine how much I missed the last battle because of all the circumstances, so I'm just sitting here and watching."

"Well, if the empire had enough leeway, it might have headed for annexation by now. Yes, for example, if the Clarice side of the army hadn't disappeared in the former battle...... sorry, that was a little bit of a story. Either way, the reason why the Empire doesn't invade filaments is simple. Because you can't afford it."

Feeling Ain's gaze slightly stronger, Kyle mouths his apologies while he mouths his own imperial acclaim.

"Can't afford it? Are you prepared for Clarice's invasion? Even though his country is almost close to a state of civil unrest."

"No, you don't. Perhaps the Empire is on the lookout for another power."

"Oh...... I see. The Republic of Kisletin."

From Ein's remarks, Ain just nodded that he was convinced of another giant nation in the western part of the continent.

"Yes. In fact, the other day, the head of Kisletin changed the outcome of the referendum, did you know?

"No, not at all"

Ain't really a trick of no interest at all, Ain't shaking his head to the left and right.

Kyle, who saw the reaction, spewed out the words like he was tired.

"I thought... Kisletin, but until recently the Féliam of the Alliance of Free Cities, who was the Führer, was defeated, and now Tomiel, the new representative of the Movement for Democratic Reform, is on his former throne"

"Hmm, the reformists..."

"Yeah, because about three years ago there was a big scandal in Mr. Feliam's faction that he could find an adhesion with the Empire. It was rumored that the formerly stony ties that existed in the Alliance of Free Cities were shaking, but I didn't expect them to defeat."

Listening to Kyle's remarks, Ain scratches his head with a bitter laugh, understanding himself involved in the external factors surrounding his defeat in this election in Kisletin.

"But even with some scandal, you don't expect those stubborn fathers to lose just that. Wasn't there some other reason?

"What stubborn father... could you possibly know about Mr. Feliam?

To Ain's words, Kyle unexpectedly opens his eyes wide.

Then Ain nodded in mild condition, like nothing.

"Oh. Just a little help last year."

"It's about you, so I don't think it's possible... at all. Anyway, this election defeat was due to the rerouting of the democratic reform movement, which means they joined hands with the Unitarian Religious Front. Well, still, I wouldn't have won without that incident a few years ago."

"The Reformers are with the Front... but I honestly wasn't surprised they were going to tie hands with that Cremean sect, I never thought about it"

The Cremea Church, which lists peace and equality as its philosophy, and the reformists who speak of external expansion policy, continue to be said to be more water and oil than before. Consequently, I did not at all assume that these two political parties would join hands as Ain, even though it was because of how much opportunity they had to come to power.

"Well, the reformist Tomiel is a great magical exclusionist."

"Oh, I see... you mean that"

After hearing what Kyle said, Ain finally convinced.

Peace and equality, the philosophy of the Cremea Church.

It was said that one way of thinking was characteristic, particularly with regard to equality, the latter. In other words, it is magical abolitionism.

They constantly speak of the inequity between those who manipulate magic and those who cannot, and rumors continue that they are secretly assassinating magicians in Kisletin.

Therefore, few voices complained that the pacifism they spoke of was only peace in the eyes of the Cremea sect.

For those who cannot use magic, however, although denominations and faiths do not go hand in hand, few have empathy for their philosophy. That exact representation was the reformist Tomiel.

"Yeah, that's the thing. And Mr. Tomiel will be the Führer. No, he has unilaterally asked for the destruction of magic technology against my Rhindle."

"Heh, so you're willing to respond to demands?

"No way. The diplomatic ambassador he sent, he and I ended up in vague conversations all the time, and we didn't let him take one word for it."

"Hmm... that would be the best thing I can do at the moment"

Chewing Kyle's story slowly, Ain answered that simply.

"Yes, it's just that it's still different in size as a country. If that country ever comes out strong, ready not to quit war, then our country will be forced to make a choice."

"Hmm. I guess we should still consider these series of moves because the Cremea Church held the casting board"

"Yeah, that's what I'm thinking."

In response to Ain's view, Kyle immediately gives his consent.

"Either way, it's not just a matter of how we can do this tomorrow or the day after. I'm sure the other side knows that. There's plenty of time. In the meantime, you may be able to hit your hand."

"Is that a hand you can hit"

"Oh... to help Feliam's uncle with the Alliance of Free Cities."

"I didn't even think about that...... but wouldn't it increase the pressure on us to be too blatant?

Kyle says so with a mouthful of hesitation when he hears Ein's suggestion and slightly bothers him.

"Well, that's possible. But, Kyle. On the contrary, let's look at perspective in his country. Don't you think the opposing forces in front of us hate it more than the fact that distant small nations don't listen to themselves? And whether it's a small country, Kisletin and this country have armor named Distance."

"Distance is time. And as long as they continue to exist an axis of conflict that I can't keep an eye on, they have to be able to influence this country... is that so?"

Kyle chews Ain's remarks on his own and says so as if to confirm them.

Ain then smiled nicely and affirmed his view.

"Exactly. Of course, they may be going through some harassment, but if that results in extra shoulder placement in conservatives, they'll choose to compromise with the Rhindle somewhere. At least until the battle against the Alliance of Free Cities is cleared up."

"I see... that's true"

"Yes, that's why the most important thing is information. We should hurry to rebuild the intelligence network to the extent that it was once created by Murassen."

To that Ein statement, Kyle slightly stretched his expression.

Because when it came to this coup d 'état of Kisletin, information was finally delivered to Kyle after everything had been done.

Of course I was never underestimating the information with him. It is true, however, that as a matter of reality, my eyes tended to really go to things at my feet, and I open my heavy mouth when I get a look that slightly chewed up the bitter bug.

"... right. Sure, it was all domestic, and I was too blind to it. Maybe that's why we're behind this coup d 'état on Kisletin."

"Domestic...... right. With that said, I hear it's noisier in the north, but what do you say?

"You're familiar with it for not being interested."

In response to Ain's story spearhead changing, Kyle gives a slightly unexpected look.

But Ain spoke of the person who served as its source, as if it were nothing.

"From your sister, yeah. He said he might have to go out to His Majesty the King."

"Yeah, it's definitely been a little rough. Because Murasene was originally out of the north, his proposed division of possession didn't come together inside..."

"Originally, Rhindle was a collection of small nations. If the octopus above your eyes does disappear, do we ever have moments in our mutual interest?"

The interest of the Kingdom of Rhindle was the beginning of that nation when a group of small nations, originally in the north-western part of the continent, united and allied to defend themselves from the former fierce republic of Kiemerte in the southern Clarice and the centre of the continent.

At present, Clarice weakens its power, and the Republic of Kiemerte is divided and its main part becomes the Republic of Kisletin, which, although it is a great power, is not as absolute as it once was.

It was therefore not expected that this country, developed from mutually supportive alliances, would start skirmishing for each former group of small nations by losing the threat of external enemies and losing powerful leaders like the Murasene.

"Yeah, it's really best if I go, but I'm not leaving the land for exactly long. I'm holding back on the Western Conference, too, right? So I'm going to ask my father to go."

"It's a Western conference... if you put it that way, it was already that year"

Kelm Empire rapidly erected in the western part of the continent.

With that containment in mind, it was the Western Conference that Kisletin took the phonetic head and founded.

This meeting, which meets every eight years, was an exercise in the attendance of representatives of various countries, and the content of that meeting was not, of course, solely about empires. In other words, it provides a forum for intensive discussions on a very large number of matters requiring inter-State coordination, such as transactions and border issues.

And this year, eight years after the last one, was the year the sixth Western Conference was held.

"Yes, but paradoxically, this time the representatives of the country have been replaced, both by us and by the Kingdom of Claris, as well as by the Principality of Filament and even Kisletin. This has probably happened since the start of the Western Conference."

"Well, that's how busy the world was. But then you can't help it."

"You have to be prepared not to embarrass yourself as a representative of the country."

"Embarrassing...... right. You don't have to worry about that anymore. [M] I've become a truly fine king. When I saw Lina and jumped on Murasene's soldiers without thinking about it, it was like someone else."

Ain't got a slightly mean grin when he turns to a young man whose problems are still piling up but who's definitely keeping that devastated nation moving forward.

But the response from the young man was his unexpected.

"No, I would still fly if that happened. I'm just going to make it a country where that doesn't happen. I just realized it was the only job I could do."

"Hehe, I'll take your advice...? Apparently, the job is about to end. King Kayla, you are now undoubtedly the king that the people of this country are proud of."
