Unmotivated Hero’s Tale (WN)

The Battle of Old Soldiers

"Secretary of State. Apparently, Clary's guy is being chased by the Britannian army."

"Clary's guy? What are you talking about?"

Head to Kerenz, who has just returned from a rear reconnaissance, Ernst asks.

Then he pushed the back of the young soldier he had brought and poked him in front of Ernst.

"Excuse me, my name is Finley from the Lemuriak army. As a matter of fact, the captains went to help the children of the slums that were left in the city, delaying their escape..."

Although the purpose of contacting the Carlin Army was to leave the captain in the form of an escape, Finley tells him so with a casual look on his face.

In response, Ernst sighed out small.

"I see. He grew up slumming too, so I don't know how he feels... so what was the situation to the best of your knowledge?

"Almost at the same time I flew out of Carlin, the leading horse riders came inside Carlin. That's more than the captains… and there's the enemy body behind them."

"On top of that, do the Claries have kids? I don't hate the sweetness of him, but what do we do, military chief?

Large bearded Kellenz urges Ernst to show his policy.

In response, Ernst gently stroked his own jaw and slowly opened its mouth.

"I'm a former military chief. Anyway, I guess I can't shake it if I hold the kid too. Hmm, the Claries escape. And they chase. If so... Kerenz, will you gather our troops as soon as possible?"

"Well, you're willing to do it with a squad full of twitches."

"Heh heh, you're tired of fighting all the time in chess while you're playing hiccup, too, aren't you? Why don't you fight with these two hands instead of pawns once in a while?

When Ernst says so, the old men laugh at each other with a nigga.

With those two expressions on his eyes, Finley couldn't help but be confused as he stood up on the spot.

"Ooh, you guys hurry up!

"Captain, I can't. Take these guys, so they'll catch up soon!

With the appearance of an approaching enemy soldier from the rear in his eyes, his deputy, Helmihoff, raises a voice close to screaming.

But Clary kicked his cry without hesitation.

"Ugh, don't stick around and run away."

"That said, I can't do anything I can't do."

"Oh, I've already figured it out. I'll take care of it. Whoever's taking the kid, go ahead."

"So, but..."

Helmihoff, who holds the girl he brought from the slam, speaks out against the superior officer's instructions.

But what he said was dispelled by Clary's fury.

"An order. Go!"

"... Yes"

Hearing an unspoken voice, the helmihoffs with their children precede them from the crawlies who have begun to slow down.

"Nearly two hundred rides... sorry, you guys. I pulled the poverty lottery."

Soldiers who took the form of intercepting enemies with themselves in the rear position.

Turning to them like that, Clary tells them that with all due respect.

Then Heatpine, the oldest soldier, turned to their captain and made him laugh nicely.

"What, the guys who sent Carlin under the army one foot for the report will be back soon. That way, the odd number is five minutes. No problem."

"Sort of. But if you do, their main army will come. It would be two hundred, but it would be three hundred, but it would be like garbage if we were the same number."

Of course, Clary thinks a five-minute battle is possible if it's just a chase.

However, given the Britonian army body to refrain behind it, a decent battle could not be hoped for. Because unless you overwhelm an equal number of enemies in a very short time, you will end up swallowed by the enemies that push you.

"Then you still have to fight while you run."

"Even if I say I'll fight while I run, I can't lead you under the citizens of Carlin. Shit, it's not like that."

"If you do that, you won't know what you're here for."

To Clary's words, Heatpine gives his consent with a sigh of sigh.

Clary then regained some calm and made a mild joke towards the ancient conscript in front of him.

"Hey Heat Pine. Like someone out there, would you tell them to take on the guys by themselves?

"Unfortunately, you're not like some red-haired person. Let's just give up on the exorbitant expectations and let's all face it."

"Well yeah. Ha... I knew you were serious."

"Perhaps so. But I support the captain's actions."

Unlost heat pine endorsement.

In response, Clary slightly loosens the wrinkles between his eyebrows.

"Thank you. Well, suppose you feel comfortable putting your life at risk? Buy yourself some time and you'll be safe with Carlin's people as well as the kids."

"Right. Either way, there's nothing convenient about fighting for nothing."

"You, don't say things like my husband. Anyway, when we intercept around here... hey. Come here to reinforce the enemy."

What Clary looked back at.

It was a new group of strange horseback riders emerging from the side of the chaser.

"Are you adding nearly a hundred rides...... not good, this is"

"That's stuffing. I have no choice, I'll buy as much time as I can here. That's good."

Yes, Captain.

Clary makes the decision in disgrace of his own sweetness, he also accepts it as it is the heat pine.

"Probably when I get home, my husband will definitely mess with me. I'm rarely angry, so I can see the silence that I occasionally show. Well, if I could just go home."

Clary mutters to the void by himself, thanking his discerning men. And when he made one determination, he spoke out loud to his men who followed him.

"Good, kids, and protect the people of Carlin. Right here. Let's go!"

"Wait, Captain. It's weird."

Heatpine voice spoken in haste.

With that in his ear, Clary turns his gaze back on the enemy again.

Then there, chaos and unilateral combat actions had begun.

"What? The reinforcements just started breaking up. No, those are... hey guys!?"

"Haha, it's an assault! Like Luke's pawn, stick him in front even and stick a spear in their asses!

Towards the other old soldiers in the unit, Kerenz tells them so with a lavish laugh.

Ernst, on the other hand, putting up a love spear on his side like that, made tea with a bitter smile.

"Kerenz, Luke can move sideways."

"Warlord, the battle is a festival. You just have to convey the image."

"Well, I can't deny that. But that's why you can't win chess. Anyway, let me show you the strength of an old man!

"My goodness. I'll show you the difference in the season, you chicks!

Ernst and the others, whose consciousness was captured by all the Clairees in front of them by the Brittonian soldiers, and by spinning from behind them, completely took the form of an enemy soldier's surprise.

As soon as they entered the enemy army together, the Britonian soldiers fell into chaos.

Of course, the quality and number of each soldier are overwhelmingly Britonian soldiers on top.

But at a completely unexpected time, and taking the form of an attack from a direction they hadn't even thought about, they couldn't take advantage of that advantage.

One man and another and the Britonian soldiers falling in front of the old soldiers in command.

Their commanders make one decision in the midst of chaos and frenzy.

Yes, the decision to abandon the pursuit of the Claries ahead and point that fang at the clever old soldiers.

However, the decision was to cause further confusion.

Yes, because Clary and the rest of the Britannian army have turned upside down.

"I don't know what you're doing, man!

"Oh, Clary, it's been a long time. Good luck with your role."

Heading to Clary, who hastily came to Ernst's side, Kellenz pinches his words with a laugh.

"Kerenz ninth! I mean, could it have made you desperate to escape?!?"

"Well, maybe we can look at it that way. Because it sounds like something."

Ernst, with his eyes on Craley, who couldn't hide the upset, tells him so with a bitter smile.

Then a large old man in a figure, who had swept away one of the approaching enemy soldiers, laughed off the skinhead man in a lavish manner.

"Ha, we just did it with Gatsun because you guys run away pathetically"

"No... I don't know what that means at all. You know, with all your retired grandfathers, what are you thinking?

Clary manages to ask as he pulls his cheeks together.

With that look in his eyes, Ernst let him hang the right corner of his mouth.

"There are so many things waiting to be picked up in hell. Older people are so short minded."

"Oh man, don't be short minded or something like that. Oh. I mean, what the hell would I have done if I hadn't noticed and come back? I'm going to double the number because of how much you took back there."

Confused that his own bitterness has not arrived at all, Clary urges his former superior officer to reflect again.

But it was Kerenz who cheerfully waved the spear that answered him like that.

"That's when I thought about it. Just like chess, the battle needs to be ad hoc!

"So stop thinking about fighting against chess"

"Ha, you bald when you care about the details? That's none of your business. Anyway, military chief. Isn't it time?

Kerenz asks Ernst that as he sarallies about his terrible remarks.

Then the old man, hoarding his white beard, nodded one loud.

"Surely, shall we escape before the main body of the enemy arrives? All right, everybody, pull back! Look, Clary. Hurry up, you guys!

When Ernst says so, he begins to withdraw from the battlefield, which is still in turmoil.

With such energetic old men in their eyes, Heatpine, an ancient soldier, turned to Clary to inquire about his next move.

"Captain... what do you want to do?

"Follow that man's instructions and withdraw. Or what will my husband tell me later when I have all this delicious place for my grandfathers? Ha..."
