Unnamed Memory

Pieces of the Moon

The sky is well cleared with its wide open ocean and thin blue. But the heat emitting sun had just flowing clouds, blocking strong light. Under the cheer of a soft afternoon, you can hear the high noises pounding metal from the courtyard of the castle. The crystal-clear sound was ringing lightly, sometimes faster and sometimes slower.

"Tinasha, don't back down right now"

"Ugh."

The witch stepped into the man's left side, receiving the practice sword held by the man himself with the same thing. He tries to flank the man's body as he gives in gently.

But the sword was played with a light sound at the next moment. It is also bounced out of her hands as it is, falling a little further away as she rotates through the universe.

"Oh, dangerous."

While holding down her paralyzing wrist, the witch looked at the sword that flew away. Oscar says softly as he slaps his shoulder with his sword.

"Keep your boundaries closed so people don't come. Dangerous."

"Okay."

Tinasha picks up her fallen sword on a small run. When she checked her wrist and held her sword, she set it up again.

"Is Your Majesty here?

Looking everywhere and peering into the colloquial room at the end, Ars tilted his neck to the fact that there was no intended person in the room either. Instead, Carve, who was writing a paper at his desk, looks up.

"You'll be outside."

"Outside?"

When he glances at the back window of the room, the regular magicians in the bickering room are looking down the courtyard through the window. Ars peered outside alongside them as he went in there. Seeing it, in the courtyard, his master and his guardian meet the sword.

What are you doing?

Pamira replied bitterly to it.

"Your Majesty pulled Tinasha because of her weakness."

"I see."

Witches are also quite a few things about sword arms, but the difference in strength is evident when dealing with Oscars. Ars, just halfway between the two, looked down intriguingly at their archery. Sylvia smudges and leaks.

"You're close, aren't you?"

"Maybe."

Doan, standing next to Sylvia, apparently came up with something fuzzy and gave people a bad grin. I look around at my colleagues and stand one finger.

"It looks like we have about four months before the end of the contract period, shall we bet whether or not we're going to get married?"

"Yeah."

Sylvia frowned, but raised her voice, "Well, I can't bet on it," first, as Carve remained from behind toward the paper. Doan giggles with her throat ringing.

"I bet you'll be married."

When Sylvia, who swelled her cheeks, joined the bet, the proponent Doan followed it.

"I can't."

Ars had heard the bet of the three magicians in disdain, but when he was asked for his opinion with his gaze, he said, "In those who are to be married. This is hope," I answer. Halfway through the state, everyone looked like a figurehead. Pamira, who has not yet taken part in the bet, speaks simple questions.

"Isn't it more of a political issue than how you two feel in the first place?"

"That's right."

When Doan nodded, Ars blocked it.

"But in the sense of being instant, there's no queen beyond Miss Tinasha. So is the power, but I'm the heir to Turdar. Knowledge and technology, and you'll want it in other countries."

"In the meantime, I carried most of the contents of the Trudar treasure trove to Farsas."

"Seriously."

Ars looked down at the witch downstairs in surprise. She has a luxurious limb and is silently waving her sword.

Pamira looked at the master with a gentle eye.

"I am your wedded man. I want you to be happy."

and tightened.

Oscar returned to the office, relieved and satisfied by his body all the way through. Tinasha, on the other hand, is resting on a bench placed between the walls. Like a crushed cat, the contractor man frowned.

"Are you all right?

"Take an hour or so off and you'll be fine. I don't have much strength..."

"Gain some more weight"

"I can't seem to get any more muscles."

The witch looked at her thin hands and feet. Not much fat, not much muscle. It belongs to the magician, no matter how you look at it. It would seem more unnatural to be waving a sword, but it would be a matter of experience and reflex nerves. In fact, having a slightly heavier sword without any physical enhancement quickly stops holding it.

"Are you okay?

"That's about prep gymnastics. I've been in front of my desk all these days and I think I'm gonna rot."

If you ask me, I haven't seen him do anything other than desk work in the last three weeks or so. She figured that the last thing that was moving might be one of those songs that called for death the other day.

For Tinasha, he has a strong human impression of being in battle, but he actually spends most of his time on the job without a holiday. She felt a little sorry for the young contractor.

"Do you even go to the whorehouse?

"Is that disgusting?"

"That's not what I meant..."

As Tinasha floated into the universe, she moved right next to the man. Because my body is tired, it is easier to use magic than to walk.

Oscar's free. Pull her hair with her hands.

"Take me to the sea again than that."

"It's cheap."

Sitting on the edge of her desk, she took away the rest of the paperwork. I feel less quantity than usual. Looking at the clock, it's just past noon.

"So why don't we go somewhere in the evening to help you with this? Anywhere in the ocean, anywhere else."

Oscar glanced lightly at the witch's suggestion. It was really rare for him to go outside without any errands.

"Where is it?

"In the continent, in the city, in the mountains, in the lake."

"... then the lake"

Copy that, sir.

To the witch smiling softly, Oscar felt her mood float like she was a child.

I can stretch my wings just a little bit.

If that was with his witch, I had nothing to say.

When Tinasha got her hands on it, all the errands could be handled in about thirty minutes. The witch returns to her room once for her support and dresses herself in a light black dress. Pamira, who had refrained, gave a happy voice as she helped Tinasha change her clothes.

"You two are usually busy going out, so take your time"

The witch snorted back at the words and felt the unnaturalness she could not have seen.

"It sounds like some kind of lover to me..."

"You look like lovers."

"That..."

Something feels off, Tinasha tilts her neck. But Pamira had an extra grin against her husband.

"Er..."

"It looks like we're getting along."

They said it clearly. The witch frowns beautifully and thinks. Is that so when viewed objectively? Think back to your usual behavior.

- Maybe it is.

Tinasha sighs as she recognizes.

"Is it because I'm used to being touched sticky...... I'm touching it too. About a hundred years from now, they're going to get married by mistake. Scary, scary."

"Is it going to take a hundred years..."

And you're wrong...... and Pamira dropped her inner disappointment shoulder expecting her husband's wedding.

They left the castle before sundown. Jump to the tower in a transfer formation that Tinasha rewrites to her chamber, from where she flies further west in Nark. Oscar was wearing a normal long sword, not an Acacia, because of his consciousness that he was off duty.

"Where are we headed to the lake?

"It is Lake Soknath in the south of the former Thurdar. I think it was Magdalusian territory now. I'll be there in a minute."

Magdalusia is a small country in the south-western part of the continent. Livestock flourishes and most of the territory is a peaceful country occupied by mountains and forests.

The evening sky was gradually becoming reddish. The sun is falling and we are about to rush to the top of the mountain. Tinasha pointed between the overlapping mountains.

"There it is, see"

There is a place in the mountains that is a little flat. Surrounded by wooded trees, the lake at its center was glowing with a red day as a mirror. Nark slowly drops altitude.

"I've been here several times when I was a kid. I used to pick blue crystals by the water that were said to be moonstones, but I hear you rarely see them these days. I miss you."

It was unusual for a witch to tell a story about her childhood, so Oscar took a serious look at that face. He is relieved by the look that only nostalgia brings to mind.

In the meantime, Nark went down in altitude, and by the time he plugged onto the lake, he was flying about three floors high in the building. The witch rides herself out of the dragon and looks down. The water was clear, but the depth seems to be considerable, and the center is invisible to the bottom.

"Where shall we go down to?"

"All right, let's go."

"Huh."

When Oscar said so, he basically held the witch in his arms and jumped straight down.

A woman's long scream echoes over the lake.

A loud water noise followed it.

Oscar floated to the water holding Tinasha in one arm and laughed when he saw her flashing in her arms.

"Bi, I'm surprised..."

"I've been looking for refreshment"

"I felt fear!

Tinasha touched the contractor's body to make sure he wasn't injured anywhere. She herself was sheltered, so she is fine. The man's sword is not off either because of the junction. It's all right.

Looking up at the sky, Nark, who noticed his husband was gone, swirled as he changed his size. Oscar still slaps Tinasha in the head with a laugh.

"I've never heard you scream before."

"I haven't heard that in a long time either..."

The witch put her hand on the man's shoulder and floated into the universe. Squeeze the hem of the dress and cut the water. I wasn't going to swim today so my clothes sucked water and it was heavy.

Looking down, Oscar is starting to swim around. Looks like fun. He rarely looks old enough, and Tinasha was glad to bring him in for a breath, I thought.

As she reaches around and puts the narc on her shoulder, she sits on the water with her feet down. Oscar asked looking at the bottom of the water.

"Is there anything here?

"It used to be just a normal creature, but now it's unknown. Be careful."

"Okay."

The eastern surface is dyed red. The shadows of the woods were dark on the west side. I see a white moon in the sky. The blue of heaven, which cannot yet be said to be the night sky, will soon be the same color as Oscar's eyes.

Tinasha combs her wet hair with her hands. I could magically dry it, but it didn't matter if I thought it might get wet again. When Oscar, swimming right next door, puts a cheek wand on Tinasha's lap, he looks up at her.

"You look like a water demon when you do that."

"Really? Wouldn't it be nice to sit on the water?"

"Well, that's fine."

Oscar pulled Tinasha's hair and made her look at her, mouthing it on her cheek. The witch narrowed her eyes like a cat to be stroked, but turned back on him with a slightly subtle look.

"What's up?"

"Pamira told me she looked like a lover."

"Is there a problem?

In a light response, she frowned seriously. I can only conclude that being told that you can see doesn't mean that something will change.

"... especially"

"Well, yeah."

Oscar smiled as he combed Tinasha's hair from the roots. Usually when he laughs, he laughs bitterly, he laughs ridiculously, he laughs most of the time to intimidate people, so occasionally when he gets this look, he's drawn in wonder.

Tinasha stretched out her white fingers and touched his face. The sky in the blue eyes is about to turn into night. I felt like I could see the moon there if I stared. I look away to see better.

Unexpectedly then, Oscar pulled the witch's body hard. Cuddle over to shelter the body of a woman falling in the water. At the same time, the sound of air playing struck two ears. Something flew in from the shore and hit the junction.

"What!?

"That's an arrow..."

Tinasha hastily hugged Naak, who had fallen to the surface. The dangerously sinking dragon bursts into her chest.

While sheltering it, Oscar frowned and glanced at the shore.

"Did you hit it?

"I don't know. I think I'm in the water."

The five men stared at the lake from the woods just beside the water. But there is nothing suspicious about the sprawling view. Was it an illusion of the eyes that people seemed to be sitting on the water earlier?

Just in case one of them waited with an arrow for a while, but the shadow never showed up again. When you give up and bow down, the youngest man shrugs his shoulders.

"It would be great if you got the treasure of a water demon."

"I'm really a water demon, and what if I piss you off? And even if we can kill him, we can't get him to the middle of that lake."

"Maybe a fish or something"

"I looked like a person."

They turn their heels and try to walk away from the scene, having a conversation mixed with discouragement and relief. But at that time, there was a water noise behind his back and the men looked back.

One woman stands at some point on the waterfront visible from among the forest trees. Her legs seemed to remain on the water, and the hem of the black dress spread over the water. A woman with white skin that shines on her long, pitch-black hair is so beautiful that she doesn't think she's human.

The men were unwittingly stiff, but took the weapon in a derisive and thoughtful manner as the young man took out the arrows.

But when she saw it, the woman raised her hands small.

"Wait. It's human."

To the woman's words, the men give a shocking voice.

"Human? Is that true?

"True."

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm on vacation. I'm here to see you from Falsus."

"I knew you looked like a water demon"

To the voice of an unknown man, the men peered into the shadow of a tree that was a dead end in surprise. There's a young man with a sword leaning against a tree. Was that body swimming or was it wet from head to toe?

"That's with me, a real human magician."

"Oh......"

The men were finally convinced by the explanation. I rarely see magicians and other people around here because of the countryside, but I knew as knowledge that there were many of those people in a country as big as Falsus.

Out of the men, one of them seems to be nearly thirty years old.

"I'm sorry. I was very rude thinking I was a water demon. Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine."

The woman smiled and stood beside the man with her out of the lake.

"I'm usually afraid of water demons and can't even get my hands on them, but I'm in a hurry..."

"Was there a problem, too?

"No, it's a village festival."

"Festival..."

I wonder what that has to do with the water demon exorcism.

Strangely enough, Tinasha quickly dried Oscar and his own clothes. The guys that I've never seen before, such as a magician, are totally impressed with the moves.

People seem good. When they bowed their heads one after the other, they welcomed the two of them in to explain the festival.

"This is the festival that decides who to marry. Few people actually get married anymore right now, but it's still buzzing inside. There are a lot of people from nearby towns."

Two of the men raised their hands and said they were from the next town. The older man looks at Oscar and Tinasha and suggests, "Why don't you join us if you don't mind?"

"What do you do about participation?

"If you're a woman, just wait in the village. A man goes around the lake and raises gifts. Something natural. And with that, I propose to the woman I'm looking for."

"I see."

There are also interesting festivals in the region. These festivals may have inspired labor over the course of a year in the mountains with little entertainment.

With admiration, her contractor slapped the head gently when Tinasha opened her mouth to shy away from joining.

"Interesting. Let's do it"

"Heh!?

The witch looked up at Oscar wondering if she heard wrong, but he looks kind of oddly entertaining.

"Duh, what's wrong?"

"It's a corner, and you don't mind. You disturb the village."

"Yeah... because so is Acacia"

I almost told her I didn't have it, and she got her temples tightened.

"I'm fine, go."

"It hurts when I haven't eaten in a long time!

Oscar stroked the head of a worried guardian. Whisper in that ear.

"Here's the thing. Don't worry, it won't be dangerous. Sometimes it's funny."

"... ok"

Tinasha pulled back. There is a guardian kingdom, and above all, he is strong. I'm here to see him, so I'll think about it again.

The man in the village who saw the story come together taught Tinasha the way to the village. There are only five of them now, but more men will soon be out in the woods, he said.

Oscar waved gently at the witch.

"Don't follow a man you don't know."

"Where are you lost!

Tinasha had no choice but to leave the scene and head to the village, leaving behind her fears that she could not wipe.

The village was completely festive. The narrow roads are filled with people, and booze and food are behaved everywhere. The sky was entirely of the night, but the soft light lit everywhere and the whole village was brightly colored. I hear children singing from afar.

Tinasha, who reached the village by herself, was slapped on the shoulder by a strange middle-aged woman as she entered the entrance. The witch is suddenly surprised, but gives it back with a bitter smile to her, who speaks affectionately.

"You're such a good boy! Where are you from?

"It's Falsus."

"From a distance again... you're welcome. Alone?"

"I was there, but I'm going to the woods to get some things."

"Oh, you have a lover. Then you're dressed."

"To?"

Shortly after asking why he had changed his clothes, Tinasha disappeared into the hustle and bustle of the village, trying to be half-stripped.

Meanwhile, Oscar, who remained in the woods, asked the man in the village who was about to take the nuts.

"Is the water demon really there?

"Sometimes you show up and you do bad things. Sometimes people die, but they can't get away with it when they get away to the lake."

He nods silently at the answers within his expectations.

- This situation is strangely interesting.

Nobody in distant lands knows who they are. The laughter spilled naturally when I thought so. I don't even have Acacia now. A strange sense of liberation fills me up.

When he broke up with the village man, he pulled out his sword and tried to shake it gently.

"Well, what are we going to pick up?"

Re-grabbing the sword familiar to his hand, Oscar walks out in an unwrought foothold. The lake, visible from between the trees, had a blue and white moon.

Some of the buildings, which are usually used as village stops, were filled with women dressing up. When Tinasha is brought there, the women who were near the entrance cheer woefully.

"You're beautiful."

He's from Falsus.

"You're from the city. It's dirty."

Tinasha was pushed by their momentum to become the wings to be flushed as they were. The costume is handed to me shortly after I pinch my mouth and I am relieved of my makeup.

"Oh, um..."

"Don't talk! Because I'm going to paint it red now."

Married and middle-aged women looked like they enjoyed wearing makeup when they surrounded her. Young women, on the other hand, are obsessed with their own discipline.

I don't see why you come to a distant land and see it in a similar way to being in a castle. Tinasha almost frowned, but if she did that, she'd be pissed off by the women wearing makeup for me.

Take a gentle sigh of sigh- - But she glanced.

Something came into conflict with the protective order I put up with the contractor. A slight vibration of magic echoes in her.

"What's wrong?

A woman with white powder peeked into her face clouding her.

"No... I'm worried about you"

"It's okay. Trust your lover more!

Brightly slapped on the back, the witch makes a smile.

Still, I couldn't do anything to soak up my anxiety.

When the women finished their support, they headed to the village's central square. Young, bright sawdust spreads across the square, and the other humans glare at their seemingly fun girlfriends.

Tinasha had been given a white veil, but he wore it deep in his eyes and hid his face. I have a sense that my appearance is something that stands out. "You look like a witch," she had already sighed in admiration at the women wearing makeup at the rendezvous point, wearing ethnic costumes with pearl lines in the white. I don't want to go outside and imitate it prominently. Tinasha stood in the corner waiting for the contractor as the young ladies hustled and waited for the suitor.

The junction just swayed a few times earlier, and then there's no change. I know it's probably okay because it's about him, but I was still just a little worried.

One man after another returns to the square to give a gift to the woman he is looking for. Every time I screamed. Tinasha looks up at the sky from the gap in the vale. In heaven the moon was white and shining.

- I wonder if I should pick you up.

Repeating her patrol, she looked down without much determination, but was accidentally removed from the veil and raised her face.

"Did you wait?

Tinasha breathes a heartfelt relief when she acknowledges the contractor standing there. The clothes should have dried, but for some reason they were getting wet again. She smiles as she reaches out and dries it.

"I was worried"

"You don't trust me. Hands, hands out."

The witch leans her neck, but hands together and leans forward. Oscar dropped what was in his right hand in that hand. The five rounded crystals are bluish.

"This..."

"You miss it."

The villagers who watched it around breathed in the moon crystal, which should barely be picked now.

But she doesn't care about that either. I stare at the crystal in my hand. I cherished it, now I remember no more stones.

My chest gets hot.

I was going to cry when I blinked.

Looking up at the man, he's smiling bitterly.

"Thank you. I'm so... glad."

Tinasha smiled like a child and in the face of a woman who could no longer return to the child. I wasn't sure I was laughing well, but I was really happy.

Oscar turns to face. She closed her eyes and got that mouthful.

It doesn't matter if you look like a lover or not. I don't know if I can put it into words.

It's just that he's next door and touches himself.

Perhaps it's very natural, and being there is the truth.

The two, dressed and after the village, dropped off a lake that would become smaller from Nark's back.

Tinasha takes care of the moon crystal she gets.

"Where was this?

"The bottom of the lake. I let the water demon guide me"

The witch opened her mouth suddenly. At all, this man does dangerous things wherever he goes.

But now, I didn't feel like preaching. The crystal in my hand is warm with my body temperature.

"When you get back to the castle, do you want to get shaped and decorated?

"No... I'd prefer it to stay this way"

"Right."

Oscar stroked the witch's head next door. She closes her eyes comfortably.

To the warmth that can be touched to love, entrust me with the memory to follow.
