Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded, finally understanding the situation. At this moment, the Nameless Sword continued to glow, though its light had already begun to diminish, a far cry from its initial intensity. Another ten minutes passed, and the Nameless Sword dimmed completely. However, an indescribable rhythm now emanated from the blade, giving it an extraordinary air.

Seeing this, the Nameless elder walked up to the Light Barrier and waved his hand. The barrier instantly dispersed, revealing the Nameless Sword within. With an open palm, the Nameless elder beckoned, and the sword shot into his grasp. The blade hummed and trembled, seeming to pulse with spirituality.

"Alright, go find your master," the Nameless elder said, tossing the sword to Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang reached out, and the Nameless Sword floated lightly into his hand. It seemed no different than before, with the sole exception that it now felt filled with spirit. Lin Kuang could even feel a sense of joy from the sword—a truly mysterious sensation.

"Young man, try out the power of the Nameless Sword," Diwu Baiyu said with a smile.

Lin Kuang nodded and casually swung the sword. To his shock, even this casual swing unleashed a powerful sword glow. The brilliant arc of light shattered rocks and sent vegetation flying.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang was utterly stunned. How is this possible? Is its power really that terrifying?

At the same time, Diwu Baiyu and the Nameless elder were watching intently. When they saw the sword glow erupt, both old men were ecstatic.

"It was a success! The Nameless Sword is truly formidable. Its power is nearly comparable to a full-force strike from a master at the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top level," Diwu Baiyu said, his eyes filled with unconcealed shock.

"Indeed," the Nameless elder chimed in, nodding repeatedly. "And that wasn’t even Lin Kuang’s full strength. If he were to strike with all his might, the power would be even more terrifying."

"Yes, with the Nameless Sword’s help, Lin Kuang’s strength will increase by at least one level. He’ll be able to take the initiative against masters of the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top. If he leverages it well, killing them won’t be difficult," the Nameless elder stated.

Diwu Baiyu nodded again. "It’s a shame the Nameless Sword has chosen Lin Kuang. It’s useless in our hands. Otherwise, we could take it straight to the Demon Sect’s headquarters and slaughter every last one of them," he said fiercely, his voice dripping with murderous intent.

The Nameless elder nodded. He knew, however, that since the sword didn’t recognize them, they could never unleash its true power. It was just wishful thinking.

At this moment, Lin Kuang finally snapped out of his shock, his gaze shifting between the Nameless elder and Diwu Baiyu.

"Seniors, what’s going on? This is incredible! How could a light swing produce so much power?" he asked in disbelief.

"That’s normal. You are the chosen successor of the Nameless Sword, and it has recognized you. That is why you can wield its power," the Nameless elder explained with a smile. "If that weren’t the case, I never would have sought you out to give you the sword in the first place. It is all because you are its chosen successor."

Lin Kuang was taken aback. The chosen successor of the Nameless Sword? What’s that all about?

"You don’t need to overthink it," the Nameless elder continued. "The Divine Sword is sentient and chooses its own successor. Without its acknowledgment, no one can unleash its true power.

"For instance, in our hands, the Nameless Sword is at most a sharp, sturdy sword, but in yours, it can unleash a completely different kind of power."

Lin Kuang nodded, though he was still mostly confused.

"Alright, if you have no other questions, I must be going. I need to find Gongsun Zhan. It’s time to release the Seal on his Slash Path Sword," the Nameless elder said with a laugh. "Once his sword is also unsealed, we should be ready to set out on our treasure hunt."

"I have no more questions," Lin Kuang replied, then paused. "Actually, there is one thing. I’m just curious, Senior Nameless, how did you know I was the successor of the Nameless Sword?" This question had been nagging at him for a long time, and now he finally had the chance to ask.

The Nameless elder chuckled. "Well, how to put it... a heavenly secret cannot be revealed! Haha.

"I’m just teasing you. In truth, I know certain secret techniques that allow me to sense things you cannot. These techniques are profound and mysterious. You wouldn’t understand even if I explained them."

Lin Kuang nodded, acknowledging that such matters were indeed beyond his comprehension. "Well, regardless, I must thank you, Senior Nameless." He then bowed deeply, his eyes filled with respect.

The Nameless elder smiled. "That’s enough. Go back and get ready. We’ll be making our move in a few days, and once we do, you won’t have a moment’s rest." Glancing at Diwu Baiyu, he added, "Old fellow, I’m off. We’ll meet again in a few days."

With that, the Nameless elder’s form flickered, and in a few moments, he had vanished without a trace into the woods.

"Lin Kuang, I should go too. I’ll come find you when it’s time to leave," Diwu Baiyu said with a smile before turning to depart.

Watching both seniors leave, Lin Kuang turned, got into his car, and drove off.

Upon returning home and stepping into the family courtyard, he froze in place. Sitting there was an unexpected acquaintance, leisurely sipping tea as if he owned the place. His women were there as well, chatting with the man.

"Old Liu, you’re out!" Lin Kuang exclaimed excitedly.

The person before him was none other than the Tower Master of Wumi Building, Liu Mu, known to outsiders as Liu Fengchun.

"Ahem," Liu Mu coughed, watching Lin Kuang approach with a grin. "Lad, are you sure ’Old Liu’ is still an appropriate way to address me?"

At his words, Liu Shilin’s cheeks flushed red. This was her father, after all, and Lin Kuang was her man. Making matters worse, Lin Kuang and Liu Mu used to be on brotherly terms, so suddenly changing how they addressed each other was incredibly awkward.

"Cough, cough... well... should I start calling you father-in-law now?" Lin Kuang asked, looking rather glum.

Liu Mu nodded in deep satisfaction. "Good son-in-law, that is absolutely the correct thing to do."

Lin Kuang couldn’t help but roll his eyes. "Old Liu, we were sworn brothers! You can’t just demote me a generation like that. That’s not playing fair!" he grumbled at the smiling Liu Mu.

Liu Shilin shot him a glare. "What nonsense are you spouting?!"
