As soon as the sun came out, the dragon grumbled.

“We're going to need a private car. I'm not foaming at this rate. ”

I was told to listen because I knew the command was monitoring the contents of the communications.

It was the same for the Brits and the Americans and the cars. Seowon glanced back, smiling bloody.

The building where the two escaped was an electronics store located on the first floor of a large shopping street. In the corner of the store, a large door with advertising for transporting goods was slowly closing.

It was so camouflaged that no one would notice. I felt how much effort the Japanese government had put into keeping secrets. It was a perfect cover. I had to know that Japan was meticulous. Suddenly, a question came to mind in Seowon's head. Even in a special warfare, you have to be that precise, but no matter how hard you look, you've never seen a competent Japanese mercenary that everyone can recognize.

The vows asked.

“Was there a Japanese mercenary in Hart? ”

The dragon thinks for a moment and nods.

“I've seen one before. ”

“How was it?”

“I shot the machine gun straight, but... ”

The dragon's expression of a direct hit meant that the head of the target was hit at 50 meters away in a three-pointer mode, for example. However, the compressed expression ‘zero……' on the back means that there is nothing left to see except the machine gun. It means it doesn't meet the Shadow Warrior standard.

It turns out vows don't know much about the SDF.

The world's most famous special forces know the importance of networks. They know that by carrying out their missions and training like the Viper Soldier, they will be eliminated from modern warfare. Therefore, they regularly cooperate with special forces from other countries and engage in various competitions to learn their advantages from each other.

The same is true of the Republic of Korea: although the 707 Special Forces were so small that it was unnoticed, the Army's Special Forces and the Navy's UDT had levels that no special forces in the world could easily think of.

In Japan, there is a counter-terrorist special forces unit called the Special Ops Force, modeled after Greenbury. But no one knew what level they were, what level of operational performance they were.

The vows did not raise any concerns about Special Ops forces. You don't have to see everything firsthand to be able to judge. There's no way the Japanese government would keep their mouths shut if the Special Ops force were at a high level.

After a 10-minute walk, you can see the bustling streets of downtown Osaka that you only saw pictures of.

What caught my eye the most was a huge billboard depicting the man running with his hands held up.

It was an advertisement for a confectionery company called Glico, which I have seen many times in photographs. The dragon who visited Osaka several times to learn the traditional art of Japanese kung fu, shakes his head, looking at Glycoman.

“It's just an ad. I don't understand how you make advertising the landmark of the city. ”

I didn't understand the vows. If the advertisement was cool, it would be more like it, but no matter how unfamiliar the advertisement was.

They walked along the Dotonbori River, which runs through the center of the city.

The dragon mutters.

“How can you not see an ant cub in this big city? ”

The sprawling streets of the metropolitan area that had been evacuated had become ghost cities.

Seowon pointed to the skyscraper with his finger instead of speaking.

Through the open window, you see something magnificent. It was the head of those who stared outside while hiding their bodies because they could not escape.

* * *

A late departure of three imaging drones flew across the air.

The monitor was reproducing the images taken by the drone and the images transmitted from the camera attached to the dragon's power suit.

“How many civilians were unable to evacuate? ”

When John asked, Gary replied.

“I don't know. The Japanese government didn't give me any answers. ”

“Excuse me?”

“They're just repeating that the evacuation is perfect. ”

“Crazy……. ”

John's head falls off.

Where in the world is the perfect evacuation? Are you saying that those who do not follow the orders of the government are not the people?

John couldn't understand what these people were thinking and living on. It looked like the Japanese government would cover up civilian life accidents during the Beast's elimination operation without anyone noticing.

John and Gary were in charge of the command team with experience matching hands and feet to vows.

Their relationship was equal, but their focus was different. John was in charge of assisting with the mission, and Gary focused on communications and systems.

Contrary to John's focus on vows being sucked into the monitor screen, Gary was busy checking the monitoring system and helping the new joiners adapt.

“Good sound, good screen. ”

Gary turns his head to the side, confirming that the video and sound are being transmitted without any problem.

“What about the intelligence team? ”

A man sitting next to Gary with a pale forehead folds his arms and replies.

“I've never seen anything like it. ”

Gary winks at one eye.

“So did I. It's your first time today, so sit back and enjoy the show. ”

Bill Towney, who became the head of the intelligence team at Heavens Gate, has worked for MI-6 for over 30 years.

Judging by his brilliant brain and excellence in reading people's minds, he was tasked with predicting/analyzing the interests of Beast and other countries, how this emerging business would impact society, and how it would make a difference in people's lives. He planned to work with research institutes, corporations and universities to continue his work. To do that, he had to become an expert on the Beast first. But all Bill Towney knew about Beast was a handful of information in the press.

“Technical team!”

Gary shouted, and his voice echoed behind the tightly installed computer.

“It's a mess!”

“What?”

“I've just finished setting up my security program. The Internet is too slow. My plan to download and install it was a mess. Damn Japan.”

Nicknamed ‘Loverboy’ after John, hacker Matt Barnes broke his heart.

“What about the security equipment setup? ”

“Tell me a few times! Did you know that the equipment used by the world's best companies is on display at Akihabara's electronics store? It takes at least five weeks to be customized to our situation. ”

Working as a security gatekeeper for the CIA, he turned his job into a Shadow Warrior as a negotiation package when he undertook a vow to carry out a New Orleans mission, and he also took charge of the hardware configuration of the Heavens Gate.

Loverboy spills his complaint and checks the computer cables for snarks. However, his expression was unparalleled from his time in the CIA.

After a thorough review by the Information and Technology teams, Gary puts his butt on the chair. As the light from the monitor struck his face, Gary's smile quickly darkened. He mutters small enough that only John can hear.

“I'm so sorry about the vows. ”

Gary looks at John and nods.

Every member of the Shadow Warrior felt indebted to the vow. Seowon has so far raised the Shadow Warrior to the highest level of mercenary company, almost as a one-man show. The members' sorry feelings were not a lack of action due to differences in abilities. I was sorry that I had never been able to provide proper support while I was trying so far. Among the key members of the Shadow Warrior, Gary felt most sorry for his professional support.

John puts his hand on Gary's shoulder.

“I have no choice but to use it in this case. Who knew Seowon would suddenly start a company in secret with Joon-won Kim? First mission. Let's stop feeling sorry and focus on the mission. ”

Gary nods after wearing the headset.

Bang! Bang! Bang! >

Every time the power suit moves, the headset makes a loud noise.

The screen being monitored by John and Gary was sent to another room via a thick cable, such as a muffler that was being inspected by a Rubber Boy.

A man standing in front of an elaborate console that could be used in a broadcast station's screening room raised his voice.

“Zoom in on camera three! ”

A magnified screen, as instructed by the man, captures the back of the Power Suit.

Every time the Powered Suit stepped against the Dotonbori River, there was a thump. The pressure from the giant gun mounted on the wide, bumpy back was subtly matched with the sound of heavy footsteps.

“Great picture! Number two! ”

I caught the back of a man walking with a short metal rod.

My whole body says "I'm strong! ’Unlike the power suit that emits the message, the man just walked away without making a sound.

With the exception of the helmet covering his face, there was no artificial feeling in the man's appearance.

The appearance of a man close to his natural state was perfectly in contrast to the Power Suit, which is considered to be the essence of modern mechanical civilization.

Trembling footsteps and squirming.

A humble machine and an ordinary human being.

Giant passes and short rods.

“Ah…! ”

The PD looking at the two perfectly contrasted combinations immediately gave off elasticity.

I never felt like I was heading to the battlefield. I'm sure you'll be facing monsters with weapons, but it was so natural for a man to walk behind you. Even the silence can be felt in the back of the man shaking rhythmically.

Joon-won Kim, who was folding his arms behind the PD, looked at the monitor, opened his mouth.

“What do you think? Do you think it will work for the viewers? ”

PD said with fixed eyes on the screen.

“Big & Small, Human & Machine, Old School & Cutting Edge Technology…… a combination you cannot fail to achieve. ”

Joon-won Kim nodded.

“Your character was caught before the game even started. The result is Bonamana. The viewers will be excited. ”

In sports entertainment, characters are everything.

Prior to his debut as a singer, he knew the importance of his character more than anyone else in the world because he saved a woman who had suffered from the flood.

Joon-won Kim smiled satisfactorily.

He was confident that the entire ESPN NFL relay team would be well suited for his choice.

“500 meters to target. ”

When John's voice is heard, the vows turn to the dragon.

“Should I go first? ”

“Do you know how many cameras are filming us? You want me to watch you play behind my back? ”

“Are you confident? ”

The dragon bit his lip. He believed in the value of sweating to death in Iraq. I wouldn't smash the Beast as beautifully as I vowed, but at least I was confident I wouldn't see the rough side.

“I'm not gonna get beaten up like last time. ”

“Good. Focus on keeping as much distance and control as possible. ”

The dragon nods.

“300 meters ago. ”

The dragon grabbed a gun mounted on its back.

When checking for firearms, I < cough! > The sound was delivered through the microphone to the command control room.

“200 meters ago. ”

The dragon narrows its gaze.

Like John's notification, the head-up display indicated a target with a red dot on the front 200 meters. However, no matter how much I looked around, I couldn't see the Beast.

“Where the hell are you? ”

He looked at his vows, annoyed.

The vow stopped, looking up.

The display suddenly turned orange.

The lock-in system is operational and information about the Beast has been received.

The dragon bit his lip.

He didn't know how to deal with the Beast on a 20-story roof.
