Chapter 2044 - 2033: The Seven Fiends Murder Case!
"Good! I won’t harm you. But I hope you keep tonight’s events to yourself, don’t tell anyone. I know the Zhonghai police want to catch me; that’s between me and the cops, nothing to do with Death God!"
The blood-robed Monk was so furious he was grinding his teeth, yet helpless. Who knew she really knew Death God? Even if she was probably deceiving him, if she truly was Death God’s girlfriend, he’d be in deep trouble.
"Don’t worry. You and the police can handle your issues slowly. But if you lay a finger on me, Death God will not let you off lightly," Su Ni smiled slightly, feeling quite smug inside.
Unexpectedly, the issue with the blood-robed Monk was resolved in just a few words. In the future, she would never delve deeper into the case involving him; just thinking about it was frightening.
The blood-robed Monk slowly stood up straight, his gaze flickering with denial, but there was indescribable complexity, faced with the allure of a beauty, he could only let go.
But just as he was about to turn away, Su Ni’s eyes lit up, and having regained some strength, reached out to grab a wine bottle, smashing it down hard on the back of the Monk’s head.
"Bang!"
The bottle shattered, and the Monk screamed miserably as blood sprayed from the back of his head, countless glass shards piercing into his skull, the immense pain nearly made him howl out.
"Bitch!"
The blood-robed Monk was knocked to the ground on the spot by the wine bottle, clutching the blood on the back of his head, baring his teeth, wishing he could pounce on Su Ni and torture her to death!
"Baldy, you think you can mess with me? You’re too green. Even without Death God’s hand, I can take you out!" Su Ni was furious.
She swung another wine bottle at the Monk.
"Swoosh!"
Just as Su Ni stepped forward, the Monk suddenly sprang up like a carp jumping.
"You!" Su Ni was startled, quickly stepping forward again, swung the bottle down viciously at his head. But this time, the Monk was prepared, tilting his body backwards, just enough to dodge the bottle’s swing.
As swift as lightning, he grabbed Su Ni’s slender neck with his right hand.
"I want you dead!!!" the Monk ground out some words through clenched teeth.
"Bang!"
Su Ni’s right knee bent, fiercely colliding down onto the Monk’s groin.
"Oww~" The Monk’s face twisted in pain, an expression so varied it even seemed like just breathing felt like ’egg pain’.
"I want you dead!!!"
Enduring the excruciating pain below, the Monk kept his grip on Su Ni’s neck, showing no sign of letting go. At this rate, even if Su Ni didn’t die, she’d be half-dead.
"Cough cough...damn...baldy, let go!"
"Shameless woman, I spared you once, never thought you’d be so ungrateful. Today, Monk will show no mercy!"
"Aren’t you afraid of Death God coming after you?" Seeing Su Ni’s face turn paler, her face turned entirely purplish; even if not dead, she’d be half-alive.
Su Ni never expected the blood-robed Monk to survive with such tenacity after smashing a bottle on him!
Now he wouldn’t die, but she was about to die here instead. Thoughts of regret flooded her mind, why did she have to act at such a good opportunity?
Even if the Monk had escaped, as long as she survived, there’d still be a chance. But now? Everything was too late, there’s no chance to start over. Perhaps after today, she’d be completely dead.
She might never live to see her family and friends again. Suddenly, faces of her past flashed vividly before her eyes, every bit of experience flashed through her mind in her moment between life and death, it’s like everything was replaying in her mind.
"Do I care what your relationship with Death God is? You think if I let you go now, you’d let me off?" the Monk shouted it out.
"Bang!"
Suddenly! At the box’s doorway, a young and pretty waitress dropped a teapot in shock.
It was the waitress’ dropping teacup that jolted the Monk back to his senses. It also temporarily saved Su Ni’s life.
"I-I saw nothing." The beautiful waitress was panic-stricken, nearly turning around to run out.
"Leaving? So easily?" The blood-robed Monk’s eyes gleamed fiercely; he delivered a heavy uppercut to Su Ni’s chin, a crack of bone sounding as Su Ni’s delicate body flew back like a fallen angel, crashing heavily onto the sofa.
Mouth full of blood, limbs limp, unable to get up in a short time.
Whoosh~
The Monk bolted out almost instantly. Su Ni had said Death God was downstairs. If this waitress stirred up any trouble, he might not make it out of the Seventh Sin night club alive tonight!
With that in mind, the Monk had to catch the waitress, by any means necessary, and eliminate her.
"Help! Murder! Murder!" The beautiful waitress ran frantically, stumbled at one point, and rolled down the stairs from the third floor almost all the way down. As she rolled to the second floor, the Monk had already caught up.
"Crack!"
The beautiful waitress’s eyes rolled back, neck snapped, her limp body collapsed.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Meanwhile, her shouted alarm alerted the security guards nearby, who quickly rushed to the scene.
The Monk whirled around, his cold eyes scanning the guards, blood from the back of his head smeared everywhere, grotesque!
Rumble...
Seven or eight hulking brutes, muscles bulging, gathered down the corridor. Despite the Monk’s ferocity, these beefy security guards were streetwise thugs, having shed blood before, some even had killed!
"Courting death!" The Monk suddenly exerted his strength, his body whirling in midair, his legs lashed out like iron whips, taking out the first burly man with his iron leg.
"Bang!"
Spurt!
The brute felt an intense pain in his chest, clearly hearing four ribs snap!
"Kill!" The Monk lightly huffed, a fierce killing aura in his eyes, raising his hand to grab one of their necks, his five fingers tore down with a crunch, ripping out a bloodied chunk of meat from the neck.
"Uhh-ah!"
The brute’s howl suddenly erupted.
Then from nowhere, the Monk had a sharp dagger, killing someone with each step, blood splattering like rain, within five seconds all the guards were on the ground, writhing in agony.
"Hmph, you think you can stop me?"
The Monk sneered coldly.
Special thanks to Changsha Sesame Paint for the reward.
