With the woman leading the way, Lin Zifeng unceremoniously wrapped an arm around Su Ni’s slim waist, and under Su Ni’s twisting and pinching, the two of them slowly walked into the Seven Sins Nightclub.

Maybe it was because this club operated a little too over the top, even entering the place required going through security at the door.

"Sorry, sir, miss, that’s just our rules here, please don’t mind too much." The woman leading them had a very sweet smile. Even though she was only a floor manager, her looks were outstanding.

"Alright, just go through the motions. Don’t get too serious." Lin Zifeng smiled, pulled out the eight-yuan pack of Red Double Happiness he’d just bought, and lit one up.

Once he actually stepped into the club, Lin Zifeng was finally caught by the environment inside.

A huge dance floor, gorgeous neon lights, those sexy, flirtatious girls, and all those men and women in suits or casual wear throwing money around like it was nothing.

From the moment she walked in, Su Ni’s eyes were darting all over the place as if she were looking for someone.

"Su Niu, how do you wanna play it?" Reluctantly, Lin Zifeng let go of the hand around her tiny waist.

He ordered two whiskeys at the front desk, then looked at her with squinting eyes and a grin.

"Then how do you want to play?" Su Ni blinked those eyes at him.

To be honest, although Su Ni was a government officer and had come to places like this on cases plenty of times, those were all on duty. But actually showing up here dressed like this...

She really didn’t know how to "have fun." After all, they lived in different worlds; spending money here was basically breaking the laws of heaven.

Just now, those two reckless glasses of whiskey Lin Zifeng ordered showed up on the counter screen as twenty thousand!

In other words, one glass of whiskey was ten grand? Sure, whiskey had its grades, but no matter how good it was, it couldn’t be this insanely priced, right?

The beauty in charge of hosting Lin Zifeng had already opened a card for him at the front desk. This card could be used for any spending in the club; every time they spent, they just swiped, and the bill would show up on the card when they checked out.

Of course—premise being that Lin Zifeng had given her a one-million credit card.

"I...I... whatever." Su Ni’s pretty face flushed slightly red, and she stammered, not knowing how to play at all.

Especially seeing all those romantic women drinking and playing finger-guessing games with men, some even kissing and hugging right there on the spot, while wads of cash were stuffed ruthlessly into their cleavage and between their legs.

In this sinful Demon metropolis, money was king, and anyone who came here clearly had more money than sense.

"Beauty, introduce a few things for us to play with." Lin Zifeng leaned lazily on the front desk, his gaze wickedly fixed on the floor manager.

"What kind of fun does sir have in mind?" The woman’s starry eyes shimmered, her voice sultry and pleasant as she deliberately pressed her chest slowly against Lin Zifeng’s arm, rubbing lightly.

Her voice was seriously seductive.

"Sorry, I’m not into this kind of tempta-tion." Lin Zifeng reached out and pushed away her flirtatious move, then took a sip of his drink.

The woman didn’t get mad. After all, using her body to sed-uce guests was a move she only pulled out as a last resort. Under normal circumstances, who would want to get that close to a strange man?

"Then what do you usually like to do for fun, sir?" Her smile stayed sweet as she ordered two drinks of her own and handed one to Lin Zifeng.

"Women."

Lin Zifeng said it straight out, grinning.

At that, Su Ni beside him shot him a sideways glare with her pretty eyes, but this bastard just kept chatting happily with that woman, completely ignoring her existence.

"Hey~"

Right then, Su Ni viciously pinched his thigh, and Lin Zifeng almost howled from the pain.

"Pfft~" The woman gave a graceful chuckle and said, "Since sir already has a lady with him, if you don’t need anything else, I’ll leave you to it."

"Go, go, go, you go do your thing. If we need anything, we’ll call you." Su Ni waved her hand in a hurry, wishing that woman would disappear as fast as possible.

"Damn! What’d you pinch me for?" Lin Zifeng grabbed at the sore flesh at his waist, feeling super annoyed.

"You’ve already got such a big beauty standing right next to you, what, you still wanna flirt with other women in front of me?" Su Ni said with a smile.

"Uh... haha, yeah, yeah. With such a big beauty next to me, why the hell would I still go for other women?" He froze at first, not quite catching what she meant, then burst out laughing.

"Hmph, at least you know what you’ve got." The corners of Su Ni’s mouth curved up slightly. After glancing around at the interior of the club, she said a quick word to Lin Zifeng and then headed toward the second floor.

Lin Zifeng didn’t say anything. He figured this kind of place was probably not new to this girl.

Su Ni followed the stairs up to the second floor, and through the earpiece plugged in her ear, she kept in touch with the outside.

"Boss Dragon, I’m already inside Seven Sins Nightclub. But I still don’t know if the Blood-Robe Monk is actually here." Finding a corner, Su Ni started making contact.

"Okay, Boss, I’ll keep an eye on things first. If anything happens, I’ll report to you immediately."

After ending the call on the earpiece, Su Ni started searching for her prey all over the place like a crouching lioness.

Given Su Ni’s personality, coming to this kind of top-tier nightclub had made Lin Zifeng suspicious from the start. He just hadn’t expected she was here with a mission.

Makes sense. With how anxious Su Ni usually was, how could she be the one to suggest coming here to play?

But once she really entered the club, Su Ni realized just how huge this place was. She’d never been to a top-level venue like this before; this was her first time.

Now she couldn’t even find a bathroom; for someone like her who rarely came to places like this, it was tough. She didn’t even dare casually ask anyone for directions.

So frustrating. Su Ni really hated herself for not coming to places like this more often in the past. Now look at you—stupid, aren’t you? So stupid you can’t even figure out where the door is.

She’d run all over the second floor; it was just too big. Her high heels were almost broken from the walking, and every step felt like walking on needles.

It was incredibly uncomfortable.

"Damn Blood-Robe Monk, of all places, why the hell did you have to come somewhere like this? You’ve almost run my legs off. You’d better pray I don’t catch you, or I’ll make you experience walking ten streets in high heels too!"

Su Ni bent over and sat on the stairs at the entrance to the third floor, rubbing her already slightly swollen calves over and over—they really hurt.

If she’d known high heels were this torturous, she would’ve just brought a pair of sneakers. It was just for work anyway.

"Sigh, tough life, what can you do? Who told me to pick such a niche profession?"

After forcefully pumping herself up inside, Su Ni had no choice but to grit her teeth and stand up again, tottering toward the third floor.

Her poor heels made her walk like a male duck, wobbling with every step...
