The dawn was coming.

Odin sits crouched on the wall, gazing toward the rising sun. He doesn't look back at the sound of footsteps coming from his side. It's because I was familiar with it and knew whose footsteps were unique.

“Father.”

Thor stands side by side with Odin, watching the sunrise. It reminded me of the fight on Mount Olympus when I saw the sun rising from the horizon and pushing the night away.

Odin thinks, what if Olympus were intact? Unlike Asgard or the palace, Olympus actually dominated those who wanted to destroy it.

Thor smiles at Odin as if he had a rat on his head.

Thor stands up and grabs him by his hand. Odin smiles with one eye as he faces a morning when all darkness has cleared out.

“I look forward to it.”

No matter what they were up to, they were always fighting together.

Odin looks away. You look back at Asgard and the palace.

Morning has come to Asgard.
