Vanguard of the Eternal Night

Episode XVII Turning Point

The next month.

I teach Shirley magic.

Shirley swallowed it all fast, unchanging and mastered.

Much faster than Roy.

Lately, I've been trying to understand the principles of magic, and the explanation is the best factor.

When I was in Roy, the image was important, but I wondered how to describe it, "It feels like I'm going to pack my magic and punch it", "So I'm going to pack my magic and put it together in my head" and other abstract good and minuscule explanations.

Roy thinks as I do, though I can understand it better.

Think about it. It's bad for Roy.

But I have no choice.

By the way, Roy went out with Shirley, although he continued his training, of course.

Roy and Shirley seem to know each other.

The first time they looked at each other, Jenkylloy panicked.

"Ah, Low..."

Shirley, do you know Roy?

I was distracted and moved.

That was very fast. Bring in Roy Shirley.

I've been stuck for a while, but I'm so anxious.

I wandered the circle on the spot by myself until they came back.

Probably look at it like a sleepwalking sickness.

I came back after a little chat, but what the hell?

Roy's ex-girlfriend, huh?

No, no...

I got into training that day.

But I'm watching (watching) the two kinds of kids. That's the way it is.

Old acquaintances or something.

Roy asked me,

"Well, yeah. But don't worry, it's like Hal's thinking."

That's what we said.

But why does he read people's minds?

You want to develop new magic?

Sooner or later it needs to be confirmed.

So much for Shirley's training.

Roy's not here today, and Shirley and I are together.

Shirley can bring me lunch while I'm taking a break.

Thank you for teaching me magic.

Instead, I'd like to thank you for feeding me my handmade lunch.

I'm the happiest at this hour.

But my parents were worried sick.

"My parents are (...) lethargic. Why. And... a lot of big husbands."

Something like that.

Well, if Shirley says he's a big husband, then he's a big husband.

It was time to finally take a break and reopen the training. The sky finally lit up.

"Shit!"

Shirley stuck with surprise.

... My chest is full.

"Oh, sorry"

Shirley rushes away from me.

I thought from the bottom of my heart, even though my heart was fine.

"Big husband? Thunder?"

That said, the sky is clear with no sign of rain falling.

In the meantime, I re-started my training, but the mutation started for a while.

"Mr. Hal! Smoke!"

Smoke is rising from the village.

"It's the village! Let's go!"

Something stinks about my chest.

Me and Shirley walked out to the village.
