70. Water flow

The next morning.

It was a pleasant day, with a floating sheep cloud.

Waking up with the sunrise, the two start with flexible gymnastics.

Regardless of Eileen, whose body is originally soft and mildly appealing, it is a different sight to stick to the ground with a large open leg of 180 degrees to Kay. I'm used to the faces of the long-time caravan, but the inhabitants of Vaak Village are a little bit more every time they see Kay.

By the way, since the other day, Edda has been imitating and doing gymnastics with me.

Although she is still a young girl, her life while in the carriage makes her body stiff and she cannot open her legs like the Kays. "Fugi no...!" he tries with his face bright red and roaring. Eileen, a professional on the road, watched somewhat to avoid being too impotent.

After gymnastics, breakfast is behaved from Elidoor at the village chief's mansion. It's a soup filled with grilled bread and river fish.

"Speaking of which, I was distracted yesterday..."

At the breakfast table, Elidoor asked, drinking water.

"What is it?"

"[Deep (Abyss)]. I know the forest ecosystem is changing, but what happens to the rivers in the eroded areas?

To Elidoor's inquiry, Kay and Irene looked at each other.

"……… What do you think? What about Kay?"

"I don't know………………………."

Trying to trace the memory in the game, if you ask me so, there was no massive river [deep]. There should also be no example of rivers that were originally eroded.

(Well, there was a preconceived notion of forests when it comes to [deep], but if boundaries change according to the ground pulse, can the oceans and rivers also be [deep]...)

I never even thought about it, Kay strokes his jaw. Perhaps in the case of [DEMONDAL], game designers avoided implementing specific ecosystems by sea and river in order to reduce costs. Or was it simply a pain in the ass - in any case, it didn't even exist in the first place in the game.

"You've never heard of the [deep] river or sea, neither have we."

Eileen shrugs her shoulders.

"Ugh... but there are a few things I can guess. Forest changes start with special plants, starting with" The Pioneer of Abyss ". But so far, no aquatic plants exist in this [deep] area..."

In other words, there shouldn't be as dramatic a change as land, Kay takes the view.

"So, one day from the river, all of a sudden, there's a monster coming out...?

"" I don't think so ""

When Kay and Irene answered the dissonance, Elidoor looked openly hoarse.

"Well, that's good.... There's a river near the village too. With the diversion of the Aria River, you can harvest quite a few fish, even small, and you can drink water. If this river was out of use, it would have been a dead end."

Elidoor while spooning the fish meat from the soup utensils. By the way, the Aria River is the great river that flows from the northern Wolvern side of the village. The streets where the caravans meet are also laid along the Aria River.

"Does the diversion of the Aria River mean that [deep] falls downstream?

"Right, it will be"

"Really? Then the impact would be insignificant. There may be times when downstream fish become huge..."

When Kay said that, "For fish to get big, you're welcome," Elidoor laughed. According to the story, it seemed to be a creek to the extent that children could swim and play, and there were limits to how many fish became huge. Assuming he grew up to a monster level, the river would be too shallow to be traced back.

After finishing breakfast with a gentle colloquial as it was, Kays prepares to leave.

Even when it comes to preparation, the luggage is mostly put on a Holland carriage, so it's easy to get dressed, equipped, etc. Especially Sasquatch, who has been freed from his luggage and lightened up, looks happy.

"Sasuke and Suzuka have been good friends lately."

"Right."

Sasquatch and suzuka eating magusa vegetables side by side. We've spent more than three months together, but we're as close as Kay and Irene.

"If we're going to settle in Satina, we need a home where the Sasquatches can live together."

"Yeah, but it's gonna be hard to find."

Kay and Irene make a difficult face as they brush for the Sasquatches.

In Satina, in a densely populated area, even ordinary vacant houses would be hard to find. How difficult it can be to come with a horse cabin - in the worst case scenario, you might be living in a town or village dotted like a satellite outside a castle wall.

But it takes a lot of courage for two Gentiles to jump into a closed village society. In that regard, Satina is urban, and I know many people - such as Cornwell Chamber of Commerce officials and the Montanese family of artisans - so I feel comfortable.

I don't have the option of letting you go.

Kay thinks as he strokes and lifts Sasquatch's tenderness. Sometimes we get along with misery, but Sasquatch seems to be immortal, according to the story of Oz, the wise man in the Devil's Forest. I'd like to spend eternity with you if I could.

"Let's think about Satina around here."

That's what Eileen said in the guise of an optimistic breeze. Right, Kay nods too. I have also consulted Holland, but in his position, he cannot say clearly, and when he arrives in Satina, he has been advised whether to consult with Yuri, the senior officer of the Chamber of Commerce. It was a shame that Satina's kidnapping had been solved and that she had been able to connect face to face. I just have to thank Eileen.

If I had a Chamber of Commerce twat, I might find a renter or so, even if I didn't say empty. Or Kay, who thought that he would keep Sasquatch and Suzuka at the Chamber of Commerce, spend some time in a suitable rental house, make money and then say he was going to look for a house again - and so on, but he stopped thinking because he didn't have Kiri.

Eileen's right, just until we get to Satina. Which one of us needs more research - now let's enjoy the journey.

While I was doing that, it was time to leave. The carriage of the caravan starts to move around.

"If you have any problems, send me a letter. Basically, we're supposed to be staying in Satina."

"Okay. I'll ask you then… I hope I don't get a chance like that."

As always, Elidoor makes a troubled face with her eyebrows in the letter Ha. After shaking hands firmly with him, Kay and the others became men on horseback. The villagers are leaving (mainly in a warrior sense) in vain.

"But when you're with the Kays, you're not bored."

Holland, who holds the reins, says it stings.

"I've been in business for decades, too, but I've only heard of" Big Bear (Grandurus) "in gaga, let alone [deep]..."

"Hey, it's just like a gag around your brothers."

Edda sitting next to Holland, nodding yeah.

"…… It's not our fault."

Kay makes a face that we are out-of-heart because it was as if we were causing a commotion.

"Yeah, yeah, really. It's a walking legacy."

but Joaquin, who snickered it off the carrier, gave him a tranced look while holding the harp.

"I myself was able to step into the [deep] entrance, and Chequer Chequer was attacked by a monster, and I had a valuable experience of surviving safely. I've seen two rare heroes fight straight away, and I'll be done with the bard profit now......!

Joaquin, who showed his white teeth and laughed nicely, said, "I'm counting on you in the next town!" and so on.

"You're going to get in trouble first!

Eileen makes me angry with half the jokes. Joaquin laughs at his strange face, Edda and Holland also shards. Kay also had to smile bitterly.

The caravan moves on.

Sometimes [deep] was looming in the village of Vaak, working with the escort warriors on alert, but there was no such thing as a monster jumping out of the woods, and the peaceful journey continued.

As we went south, the greenery of the slightly depressed forest pulled away. Spread out instead is a splendid, blue plain. The ups and downs disappear from the terrain, and the carriage's feet become faster.

A small settlement that can't even be called a village or a wooden tree dotted with pomposity, as I recall, flows slowly backwards.

Kay and the others went the same way once.

With that said, I remember emotionally that this is how things were around here.

And a few hours later, before noon, the caravan was arriving in the lakeside city of Euria.

Euria, a city without walls and flourishing as a relay point for transactions. Believers of the Spirit visit the pilgrimage journey because of the small island in the middle of adjacent Lake Schnapeia and the building of a temple dedicated to the Great Spirit of the Water.

"As always, it's a beautiful lake."

Far from sight, Kay leaks his admiration as he looks out at the blue, swinging lake surface. It's a clear lake that you can't imagine adjacent to a massive city.

With large cities upstream, it is surprising that even though the great rivers such as the Morra and Aria are also connected by canals, they do not find one piece of garbage.

"If I get dirty, will the Great Spirit of Water run out of bees?"

"Right. About two hundred years ago, we were told that the spirits had gone mad at the polluting lake and that half of the city on which Euria originated had sunk."

To Eileen's whining, Joaquin answered with his face.

"Since then, both the inhabitants of Euria and the people who live upstream of the river have taken great care not to pollute the river. The Great Spirit of Water is basically said to sleep in the lake, but if he gets angry, he'll come back to the river."

In big cities like Wolvern and Satina, sewers are in place by the time they are nervous, and this is why they even exist in water purification facilities. As a result, even modern people maintain a tolerable level of living environment, so from Kay and Irene it was the Great Spirit of Water.

"... Speaking of which, as I recall, when I was staying in Wolvern before, you were running a light (lantern) flush on the Aria River in the name of a solace festival. I worried the water spirits would get angry if the lanterns got trashed in the downstream lake, but they all laughed," No problem because Eurian residents are dying to collect it. "

It's like a bully, Kay added, smiling bitterly.

"That's bullshit."

but Joaquin answers directly in the face. Rare, somewhat cold voice, Kay also turned true as he was made to bathe in cold water.

"…?

"That solace festival is meant to mourn those who died in the battle ten years ago - the revolt of the people of the meadows. In fact, at the time, the Lord of Euria refused to reinforce Wolvern."

At the end of the street, looking at the streets of Euria, Joaquin continues.

"As a result, while Wolvern did a great deal of damage, he suppressed the insurgency on his own, but the Eurian lords did not move until the end, thoroughly defended. Because there are no walls in Euria, we are prepared for the raids of the people of the meadows, which is the apparent reason -"

Once the words were cut, Joaquin tried to whisper,

"- In fact, there is some kind of back-trade, and instead of missing the rebels, we have made a deal to keep Euria out of the way," he said.

In fact, it is said that there are only minor raids in Euria, with little damage.

…………

Kay and Irene were silent. What I remember is the sight I saw at the solace festival.

Old and young, large numbers of people were running lanterns down the river to mourn the fallen. The light that floated on the dark water was just a huge number. That light - just the number of people who have lost their lives in the battle - pushes them down the river to Euria every year.

That's all people died, he said.

That's what I keep saying.

"As good as it gets..."

Kay groaned. A sight I just thought was' beautiful 'then. Knowing what it meant to be there, it made my spine feel cold. Eileen seems to agree and has a pulling smile.

"Nevertheless, that lantern flush started purely to mourn the fallen, and many people just think, 'You don't mind if that bothers you'."

Joaquin said so, clapping his shoulders small.

And, as we talk about it, we finally arrive in Euria.

Holland said that, like last time, the caravan would stay in Euria for a whole day. They say the departure will be around noon tomorrow.

"Well, what's wrong with us?"

"What are you going to do?"

Kay and the others walk down the boulevard, pulling Sasquatch's reins.

Hearing Joaquin's story, his strong heart also seemed to loosen up as he watched the cheerful noisy sailors, street performers and merchants moving forward with the business talks. A whore who draws guests on the corner even though it's still bright, a small use of merchants to hang out with, a pilgrim and a group of thoughtful traveling costumes.

Exactly the right sight to call it 'clutter'.

Kay and the others, who saw the sign for the GoldenGoose pavilion, stayed at their last stay, walked over there to get sucked in.

It's expensive there, but it's an inn with a horse cabin and a clean bath. Deposit Sasquatch and Suzuka and take the room.

"Hmm, what do we do? Meshi for now?

"Well, I'd like to take another bath."

Eileen sits in a dining room chair and stretches out "uh-huh". Kay was hungry too, so while ordering lunch, I asked him to boil the bath. Preparing for the bath takes time, so this is just fine.

"GoldenGoose" pavilion's specialty-cooked lake fish muniel with carefully simmered dark flavored potovs, assorted sausages, soft white bread and more. Kay and Eileen are the same ones who lose their mouth count when they eat something delicious.

After the meal, when I'm full and I'm doing a little wine like juice, I go sneaking in because I think I'm ready for a bath.

I ordered hot water for two without a kettle, so I don't need to take turns in the same bath. The bath is located in a cabin adjacent to the inn, like a small space fitted with a personal tub, separated by small doors and walls, respectively. Both Kay and Irene are soaking in separate baths, removing the dirt from their journeys and feeling refreshed.

"No - refreshed"

"The mesh is delicious, the liquor is delicious, the bath is pleasant and, above all, clean. Don't complain!

The two of them return to the room with a loose face. It's a nice place to be safe and relaxed because the price is high. The window facing the courtyard is open, with thick curtains shaking in the wind.

"Now, what do we do after this? I can take it slow till noon tomorrow."

Leaning against the window frame, Kay looked up at the sky.

"The weather is a good thing, and anything on the lake..."

But the words as I look back are discontinuous.

Eileen's lips were blocked with her mouth.

Touchy, cool breeze.

"…… So? What do you want me to do?

Irene looks away after a while and smiles mischievously.

"Well, I wonder what it was"

Falling into terrible oblivion, Kay laughs niggardly and shoves Eileen down to bed a little rampantly. Kay twitches to Eileen, who falls in screaming deliberately.

Often, the two stared at each other from close range, laughing at the dullness and mouthing it as it was.

After that, it was a fuss.

Along the way, I thought I was single and my neighbor's guest left the room rough, and on the other hand, the other room was a couple. I started oozing there, but neither Kay nor Irene cared. It will no longer be exposed to anyone.

That's how we enjoyed each other to the fullest extent we thought, but after a few fights a disturber appeared where we were on a small pause.

Conn, Conn and.

Someone is knocking on the door of the room.

The two, who slept in line and were playing in bed, looked at the door as if it had been bounced.

I thought it was some kind of mistake, but the door is being knocked again. "Um... Kay, are you there? 'and the boy's voice through the door.

"Excuse me, I'm using Cornwell Chamber of Commerce... Kay, are you there?"

Kay and Irene face to face.

"I wonder what it is."

I don't know.

Eileen lifts her upper body and pulls her sheets up to her chest. Kay, getting out of bed, hurries to get her underwear and pants on.

"What's wrong?

Just in case, Kay opens the gap just a little while holding the door down with his feet. Even if someone hits the door with this, it won't open all at once.

But there was no need to be alarmed, and only one little boy was outside the room. I recognize it on my face. It must have been someone's apprenticeship.

"Is something wrong?

No danger, Kay decides to open the door. A young man with naked muscles on his upper body made a big picture of him in his sight, and the boy seemed a little barometric, but he sensed the situation from the look of Eileen behind him - he sees glossy naked shoulders - and blushes awkwardly.

"Uh, well, I'm sorry. Enjoy…"

"No, that is fine......"

The Kays had not told the merchants which inn they intended to take. The Cornwell Chamber of Commerce will have gone out of its way to find the Kays before sending them over for use.

"Uh, actually, the lord wants you both."

It took a while to understand the boy's words.

"What? Lords? …… Lord of Euria?

"That's right. In fact, the [deep] material of the two of you was discussed at the Chamber of Commerce, and I reported [deep] to the Lords just because of the matter. Then the lord, who expressed great interest, would love to hear the story of the two of you who went there…"

A boy who explains the situation in a hard way. Kay looked back at Eileen with a pigeon-like face that ate a bean cannon, but Eileen looked the same.

"Are we talking about this now?

"Now's the time."

"…… Should we hurry?

"… that, if possible. The lord is waiting for you…… Mr. Holland should be handling it now………"

It took quite a while to find the Kays, the small-time boy adds. There was nothing I could do about it now.

"Okay. Let's make a move. Where is the lord?

"It's a rocky mountain castle. He said he didn't mind if he came up with a horse."

Reminds me of the big rocky mountain by Lake Schnapeia, "Over there......" Kay mutters.

The Lord's Castle is situated at the top of the Rock Mountain and is built quite robustly. The castle is laid with decent cobblestone paths and slopes are neat, but it takes a lot of time if you try to climb on people's feet. That's what happens when you come up on a horse.

"Okay, let's go with the horse right away"

"Thank you very much. Then I will tell the Chamber of Commerce that."

With a relieved shoulder load on his face, the boy flew away.

"You've got a hard time, Irene."

"Right. I wonder what kind of lord this one is. Damn it, we don't have enough research."

The two sigh as they hurry to get dressed. If Joaquin's story is true earlier, the Lords have a rather cunning temperament.

Keys rushed downstairs as they locked the room and prepared themselves. Go straight into the stable.

"Sasquatch, I'm sorry, but it's your turn..."

Bang, and Kay opened the horse cabin door, but stiff. "Heb," Eileen bumped into Kay's back when he suddenly stopped.

"Hey, Kay, what's stopping you all of a sudden?"

Eileen complains, but Kay is solidified. Irene peered into the stable surprised - but similarly solidified.

Inside the horse cabin, Sasquatch covered Suzuka from behind.

Both of them look at us with a "ah" face. Often, a strange silence dominated the scene.

…………

Kay closed the door without saying anything and looked at Eileen with a bewildered look.

"No, you can't. He…………."

Sasquatch is not a horse in the first place, but a monster called 'Bauser Hose' that is simulated on horses. I just met a normal horse, Suzuka, and I don't think it's possible to reproduce...

Kays stood still, but he regained his mind and opened the door again.

Then there was a sasquatch sleeping on the straw bed, next to it, a face of suzuka waving her tail like nothing had happened.

"Hey. Hey, Sasquatch?

But whether Kay comes near or slaps Pessipesi in the face, Sasquatch keeps his eyes closed and he keeps falling asleep without saying yeah.

Kay and Eileen rarely made it to the castle for two in Suzuka, as it was an immobile structure.
