93. Preparation

- At first, nobody even cared about him.

A searcher who wandered out of the woods alone with a flirt. It's a wonderful outfit to look at, and it doesn't have a lot of gear.

A foodie who dreamed of grabbing a thousand bucks just came back without even being able to achieve a lot of results.

Everyone thought so.

Until he reaches the camp of the Seekers and cries out like a child.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

The other Seekers you see speak up.

Come closer, it smelled terrible. The searcher's lower body was full of dirt. He's been desperate to escape because of how horrible his eyes have been, and he can't even afford to care about it if he incontinence.

"……… he's dead. He's dead."

He said, with a face like he had seen the end of the world.

"The lizards ate us all."

†††

"- So this is what happened."

The next day, Kay shrugged, looking at the completely unpopular camp.

Rumors quickly spread that the "Green Salamandel" was in the vicinity. First, a frightened searcher left, and those who were making money there and were untrained followed it, and the merchants who were buying their goods also pulled up.

What's left is a greedy person who still can't give up the 'grace of the woods', or a stranger/freak who hasn't known enough of a sense of crisis, or who has remained for other reasons?

Now, Kay wonders which one I am, etc.

"I'm rather surprised there are still a few left."

Irene said as she slapped Tonton on the shoulder with the sheath of the sabel.

"- Hehe. It's easy to like things like Asi."

Voice from behind the tent. Killian snickered her face as she stroked her scratchy bald head.

"You're still here."

It was a surprise.

Killian is a skilled searcher who survived without stepping into the "Forest Lizard" hunting grounds (Killzone) as a result of careful overlapping. Kay thought he'd disappear first because of his excellent risk management.

"The Great Forest Lizard, also known as a walking disaster - I want to worship it once and for all. It's easy for Asi to be a businessman walking in the woods."

Yesterday, he described the ecology of the "forest lizard" in detail, and when he was informed that he was in danger, he looked blue, but he was stubborn.

"And... my husband is going to hunt the Great Forest Lizard, right? I'd like to offer you Asi, too."

"……… it could just be insanity, eh?

"Well, if they're the others, they're about to laugh with their noses. My husband doesn't want to talk. Come on."

Killian laughs niggly. Something like "Big Bear Killer" unique persuasion.

"That would be an honor. In fact, I thought I wanted manpower."

Neither Kay on the boulder thinks he can hunt down the "Forest Lizard" with only Eileen and Mandel as his companions. Basically, I was going to take the form of intercepting the "forest lizard" coming out of the woods, but I had to gather manpower to prepare for a brief pitfall - a depth sufficient for the "forest lizard" to kick in - etc.

I plan to ask the men in the village to help me, of course. But the Seeker - especially a talent like Killian with both arms and courage - wants as much.

"If I spoke up, do you think we'd get together a little bit more?

"It's easy to think it depends on the reward."

"That's right," Kay smiles bitterly in answer to the lack of body and lid.

"What do you want if you're Killian?

"Asi, of course, can't go beyond that if she can have some gold. If you don't have a lot of hands, it's easy to think that your hands are ants when you share prey material at the dawn of crusade success."

"I see."

Indeed, successful rewards may be common in these big hunts. Aside from whether big hunting itself is common.

But in Kay's case, there's plenty of room for nostalgia there.

"The Great Forest Lizard is supposed to sell off to the Cornwell Chamber of Commerce. I can't decide what to do with the material."

"Ho."

"But fortunately, I have money. Hopefully, I'd hire a guy like Killian with some fucking guts...... don't you have any idea?

"I understand. Speak up, some of you."

Killian, who nodded, said so and disappeared again into the shadow of the tent.

"All right, let's dig in the pit."

We left the search for talent to Killian, and Kay got to work outside the village.

Just in case, he carries "Dragon Scale Thru" and "Ice Arrow", and he makes them refrain from sasquatching nearby, but Kay sees that the "Forest Lizard" will not move until at least tomorrow morning.

At least four explorers were sacrificed yesterday. "Forest Lizard" is also bloated and should be satisfied there. For some time now, the hunting grounds have not been handicapped by prey, so they will still be waiting around the nest hole today.

And the "forest lizard" is daytime, so if the sun goes down and the temperature drops, we can't move until before noon tomorrow.

(- and explained……)

Waving her shovel herself, Kay glanced around and clasped her shoulders.

Around, there are also figures of village men, including village chief Elidoor. Guys, they're working on farm tools, but they don't seem to care when monsters pop out of the woods. Even soldiers in the army who lay their leeward formations would look a little better.

(Well, I know how you feel)

Neither does Kai Kai Kai think he is absolutely 100% safe. Eileen has me watching the woods right next to her, and Mandel, who holds her short bow in her hand, has given her a few "ice arrows" as well.

The villagers couldn't have stayed at ease because the Kays weren't relaxed at the time.

"Kay, do you have a minute?"

And Elidoor, who was in charge of the jaw, speaks with a troubled face with her eyebrows in the letter (c).

"What's wrong?

"When I dug there, a big stone came out. What's wrong?"

When they took me to Ellidoor, it was true that the rocks - rather than rocks - that were so big were buried on the ground.

"... Hmmm, it's definitely bone to move this. If I had a big hammer, I'd smash it."

"You don't have any turkeys. Hammers and hammers only……………."

"Well, then I can't help it... keep it moving."

I would have liked to use the tools to make things easier, if possible.

Kay called a boulder like a handful, "Whatever!" I was forced to lift it and throw it away in a luxurious manner.

"All right, this will do."

"…… It's the same power."

Pampers, and Kay, who pays the dirt and dust of his hands, are frightened of Elidoors. The surrounding villagers also talk about, "What would make you muscle like that if you ate something?" "You're too big on this stone anyway." "You're going to be taxed for being too big."

"But Eridore and the others did their best………"

Kay says emotionally as he looks around at the view full of stumps.

The vicinity of the village of Vaak was much more pioneering than when we came before. At the time of the "Grandurus" raid, the forest, which was at a distance between the eyes and the nose from the village, is now about 50 metres away. [Deep (Abyss)] area fluctuations, shredding the forest itself to reduce its impact at all - it was a gift of the villagers' tearful efforts.

"Thanks to you, it's easy to fight"

There's room for Sasquatch to run around, and the rays go through. Poor scaffolding is flawed on the balls, but unlike in the woods, he can stand around as a "bow cavalry". If the village remained as close to the forest as it used to be, it might have been necessary to look out for damage to the village and bring out the "forest lizard" all the way around the street.

"But......... Kay, do these pitfalls really work for the" Great Forest Lizard "?

As he digs through the hole, Elidoor asks.

"The Great Lizard of the Forest" is a monster almost ten meters long, isn't it? Such a hole that even a child can crawl out of, that's all I think of as a child... "

"No, it's unexpectedly valid."

Kay replies as she scratches out the dirt.

"" Forest Lizard ", with short legs for the figure. Thanks to my strong powers, I can still move around quickly, which is why when I run fast and my legs get caught -"

Pretty out of balance. It rubs your belly to the ground, greatly reducing the momentum of the rush.

"So, that's where we're going. Unlike" Grandurus, "it's stupid, so don't get caught again and again."

"Hmmm...... I see"

Elidoor seems convinced, too. The other villagers seem to be motivated, and they have strength in their hands to dig holes.

"Hey, husband"

And Killian came from the village. Behind us are the Seekers.

"Killian! … isn't there a lot?"

I'm taking him with me - loose ends, as if on an excursion.

"Pinch the story in my ear, and the people who want me to hire you as a human foot don't."

Killian shrugs her shoulders as she points behind her thumb.

- Zach, look at the rash on your face, it's a lot worse.

Apparently, most of them want to make a little money for now. Misty and uncomfortable. "Let's challenge the Great Lizard of the Forest." There were not enough of them to count.

"Uh... well, then, the people who aspire to manpower will listen to Ellidoor, the village chief here."

When Kay says so, the Seekers go all the way to Ellidoor. "We don't have enough tools, Kay!" I see Killian as I hear the scream.

"… So, they?

"Yeah, the guys Asi called out to."

There are only two of us left.

First, a man with muscles like gorillas. It is impressive that it is equipped with a kale armor with a candlestick of armor and carries four shorter spears. It presents more fun than a seeker, such as a mercenary. I'm staring at Kay with a teasing eye from earlier, but I don't know why.

Next, a handsome man with light black skin. It's sturdy enough to seem out of place, and if you're not wearing leather armor, you're going to mistake me for a bard or something. He has a short sword on his hips and holds the composite bow of the people of the meadows. The outfit was pretty much the same, and the wind with the use of martial arts didn't seem like he was just handsome.

"Hey, you... Kay"

And a guy like Gorilla approaches Kay with a quackoo Kabuki actor-like look.

"Oh, yeah, but"

Kay is alert and pully.

The gorilla man offers his hands sassy. What's going on with Kay?

"Ah... shake hands... will you?"

"……… What?

"…… militant competitions…… were watching. I'm a fan of yours..."

The gorilla man said that with a tendency to nag.
