Chapter 347: Servants Practice Professional Robbery

The elderly protector’s expression darkened completely. A moment later, his restrained aura finally exploded outward.

Nascent Soul pressure swept through the clearing, crushing branches, shaking the ground, and forcing several nearby trees to bend beneath its weight.

The five servants inside the base immediately paled, but Linsey barely reacted. She had already felt pressure far stronger than this before.

The elder stepped forward, killing intent rising in his eyes. "You have gone too far."

Before Linsey could say anything, Cassandra casually stepped forward and let out a low laugh. "Hehehe..."

Her own aura erupted without warning.

The elder’s expression instantly changed.

Cassandra’s pressure crashed against his like a tidal wave, completely overwhelming his Nascent Soul aura and forcing it back.

She tilted her head, her crimson-black eyes gleaming behind her mask. "Oh? So the young one loses, and now the old bones want to move?"

The elder frowned deeply.

Cassandra casually spread her arms, a vicious grin spreading across her face. "If that’s the case, fine then... let me deal with you as her mistress."

The elder’s expression darkened even further. He immediately drew his sword and roared, "Don’t underestimate this old man!"

He rushed forward, his sword already swinging toward Cassandra.

Yet in the very next moment, Cassandra disappeared.

The elder’s pupils contracted.

She suddenly appeared directly in front of him, far too close for his sword to complete its swing.

Cassandra’s grin widened as she casually raised one hand. Her long crimson fingernails flashed before one of them pierced straight through the elder’s shoulder.

Blood immediately sprayed from the wound as the elder’s face twisted in pain. "You... just who the hell are you?!"

Cassandra laughed viciously. "Don’t you already know? Haven’t you heard about us? The Immortal Forbidden Harem?"

Without waiting for him to respond, she slammed her leg into his abdomen.

The elder was launched backward, skidding violently across the ground before crashing into a tree hard enough to crack the trunk.

Blood still dripped from Cassandra’s fingernail.

She casually raised it toward her lips and slowly tasted the blood, her crimson-black eyes gleaming with amusement.

Yet the moment the blood touched her tongue, Cassandra suddenly froze.

Her expression twisted into pure disgust. "Ugh..."

She immediately spat the blood onto the ground before glaring at the elder like he had personally offended her. "What the hell is wrong with your blood? It tastes fucking horrendous."

Cassandra wiped her tongue against her teeth in irritation. "Just what the hell have you been doing with your life to make it taste this bad?"

Linsey immediately burst out laughing, wondering just what the hell Cassandra was even talking about.

At this point, she sounded less like a demonic cultivator and more like some kind of damn blood connoisseur.

Once the elder had been defeated, the five servants cautiously stepped out from inside the base, staring at Kaiven and his injured protector.

Cassandra pointed toward the two men before looking back at the servants. "You five... take everything they have."

The elder’s expression immediately changed.

Kaiven, who had barely managed to stand again, shouted, "What?!"

Cassandra casually continued, "Storage rings, weapons, pills, spirit stones, talismans..."

Her gaze slowly moved over their expensive robes, her grin widening. "Basically, just take everything... even if you have to leave them naked."

Kaiven’s face immediately flushed red with fury. "You fucking dare?!"

Despite his injuries, Sword Qi began gathering around him once again.

Beside him, the elderly protector forced himself upright while clutching his bleeding shoulder.

He pointed at all of them, his expression furious. "You people have no idea who you’re offending! The Morath Clan will..."

THWIP! THWIP!

Two arrows suddenly flashed through the air.

Kaiven and the elder barely had time to react before each arrow pierced directly into their shoulders.

Kaiven froze. "What the..."

His entire arm immediately went numb, and a second later, the paralysis spread through his chest, legs, and finally his entire body.

The elderly protector’s expression changed just as quickly. "Poison?!"

He tried circulating his Nascent Soul Qi to suppress it, but his body still stiffened.

Kaiven collapsed first, his eyes rolling upward before he completely passed out.

The elder remained conscious for several more seconds, glaring furiously at Evelyn. "You..."

His body eventually gave out as well, and he fell to the ground, completely unconscious just like Kaiven.

Evelyn calmly lowered her [Glacial Starfall Bow] and sighed. "Finally... silence has returned."

Cassandra blinked before turning toward her.

Cynthia smiled faintly beneath her Poison Dragon mask. "Finally. They stopped talking."

Linsey laughed.

Cynthia walked closer and examined both unconscious men before nodding in satisfaction. "Good shot, Evelyn."

Evelyn gave a small nod. "They were noisy."

Cynthia crouched beside Kaiven. "The poison I coated those arrows with is specifically meant to paralyze cultivators without killing them."

She glanced at the unconscious young master. "At his cultivation, he should remain unconscious for roughly a day."

Then she looked toward the elder. "He’s Nascent Soul, so probably around an hour. Maybe less if he focuses entirely on purging it."

Cassandra immediately clapped her hands. "Perfect."

She turned toward the five servants. "You heard her."

Her finger pointed toward Kaiven and the elder. "Move quickly before the old bastard wakes up."

The five women immediately rushed forward. "Yes, Mistress Queen!"

They quickly looted their storage rings and weapons, even stripping away the expensive accessories from Kaiven’s robes one by one.

Linsey watched as the servants worked with increasing efficiency. "Wow. They’re getting really good at this."

Cynthia calmly replied, "Practice."

Several minutes later, there was practically nothing valuable left on either man.

One of the servants stood up and bowed respectfully. "Mistress Queen, it’s finished. Everything they had has been taken."

Cassandra inspected them before nodding approvingly. "Good enough."

She then turned toward Linsey and pointed toward the edge of the base. "Throw them somewhere outside. Let everyone see them as proof of our power."

Linsey grinned. "With pleasure."

She casually raised one hand, and Wind Qi immediately gathered around both bodies.

WHOOOOSH!

A violent gust lifted Kaiven and his protector into the air before launching them far beyond the temporary base.

Linsey dusted off her hands and turned back toward Cassandra. "Done. The trash has been perfectly thrown out."

Cassandra laughed. "Perfect. Now let’s wait for the next batch of food to arrive... if they’re smart enough to come."
