Chapter 341: Queen Understands Business

For several moments, nobody said anything.

The two servants looked confused, Linsey blinked repeatedly, and Cynthia seemed to be silently reconsidering everything Damian had just explained.

Cassandra was the first to react.

She slowly turned toward Damian with a strange expression. "Wait... are you serious?"

Damian looked at her. "What?"

Cassandra pointed directly at him. "Didn’t you just spend the last ten minutes explaining why we need to avoid Nolan?"

Cynthia calmly nodded. "That was also my understanding."

Linsey tilted her head. "Yeah, Master. If we deliberately become famous, wouldn’t that just make it easier for Nolan to find us?"

Damian stared at the three women for a moment before suddenly grinning. "Hehehe... of course we’re becoming famous while avoiding him."

Cassandra’s expression became even stranger. "That sounds fucking contradictory."

Damian immediately shook one finger. "No, no. Think about it properly."

He raised that finger. "Nolan is still around the Golden Core Realm."

Then he pointed toward Cassandra before tapping his own chest. "Meanwhile, we have two Peak Nascent Soul cultivators."

Cassandra narrowed her eyes slightly, beginning to understand where he was going.

Damian spread his hands. "So if we become famous on the demonic side, who do you think is actually going to come looking for us?"

Linsey blinked.

Damian answered himself. "Not Nolan."

His grin widened. "It’ll be other factions. Golden Core sects, Nascent Soul experts, arrogant young masters, old monsters, random idiots trying to build their reputation... basically powerful people who aren’t chosen ones."

Cassandra’s crimson-black eyes slowly brightened.

Damian continued, "Nolan might be crazy enough to fight people above his realm, but he isn’t stupid enough to casually chase down a group openly known to have two Peak Nascent Soul cultivators."

He shrugged. "And even if he wanted to, his master would probably beat the shit out of him before letting him throw himself into something that suicidal."

Cynthia considered his words for several seconds before slowly nodding. "That is... surprisingly reasonable."

Damian immediately snapped his fingers. "Exactly."

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "And what happens if Nolan ignores his master, finds us anyway, and decides to come after us?"

"We run," Damian answered without even thinking.

Silence.

Linsey nearly stumbled.

Cassandra simply stared at him. "That’s your grand plan?"

Damian looked completely shameless. "Why the hell would we fight him?"

He spread both arms. "We see Nolan, we turn around, and we leave. Preferably very fucking quickly."

Evelyn, who had remained quiet until now, calmly nodded. "Efficient."

Damian immediately pointed toward her. "See? Frost Dragon understands."

Evelyn gave a slight nod, completely serious.

Cassandra stared between the two of them before suddenly laughing. "Hahaha! You really have absolutely no pride."

Damian chuckled. "And?"

He casually crossed his arms. "It’s better to have no fucking pride than to die because I was too stupid to retreat."

He glanced toward Cassandra. "Pride doesn’t mean shit if your corpse is lying in a ditch."

Cassandra’s laughter only grew louder. "Fair enough."

Damian turned back toward the servants. "Besides, becoming famous has another major advantage."

Cynthia asked, "Which is?"

Damian’s smile grew increasingly satisfied. "Comfort, as in money, resources, connections, and information becoming much easier to get."

He continued explaining, "Once we’re famous, people start coming to us instead of us wasting time searching for them."

Linsey slowly nodded. "That part actually sounds useful."

Damian nodded, and his grin became even more sinister. "Basically, if some hostile faction decides to cause trouble..."

He casually dragged one finger across his throat. "We beat the shit out of them, take their storage rings, steal their resources, and suddenly our traveling expenses are covered."

Cynthia closed her eyes and sighed. "So your grand strategy is robbery."

Damian immediately corrected her. "Selective wealth redistribution."

Cynthia opened her eyes. "That is still robbery."

Damian laughed loudly. "Sounds more professional my way."

Cassandra burst out laughing. "Hehehe... now this is a plan I fucking like."

Damian proudly nodded. "See? Queen understands business."

He finally looked toward the two former Nether Blood Moon Sect disciples again. "So."

Both women instinctively straightened.

Damian’s eyes gleamed with anticipation. "What’s the fastest way for us to become infamous enough that powerful people start coming to us on their own?"

He paused. "Preferably without accidentally starting a fucking continental war on the first day."

---

The two former Nether Blood Moon Sect disciples looked at one another for a moment.

One of them eventually raised her hand slightly. "Actually, Master... that should be quite easy."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "Easy?"

The second woman nodded before pointing toward the ground beneath their feet. "Didn’t you just end the war between the Blue Mist Sect and the Nether Blood Moon Sect?"

Everyone glanced around.

The forest was still scarred from the battle, and traces of broken weapons, shattered trees, frozen ground, and dried blood could still be seen in the distance.

The servant continued, "This entire region already knows a major battle happened here."

She gestured toward the ruined battlefield. "Sooner or later, disciples, scouts, merchants, wandering cultivators, and nearby factions will come to investigate."

Damian slowly began to understand.

The first servant added, "So instead of leaving... why not build your base here?"

Silence.

Linsey blinked.

Cynthia’s expression became thoughtful.

The servant continued, "Anyone who comes will eventually learn that the Blue Mist Sect and Nether Blood Moon Sect were fighting here."

She pointed toward Damian and the others. "And they’ll also learn that your group appeared and ended the entire war with only a few people."

Cassandra’s lips slowly curled upward while Damian rubbed his chin, thinking it over.

The second servant nodded quickly. "If you establish a faction base right here, the rumor will spread naturally."

She gestured toward the destroyed battlefield again. "You won’t even need to advertise. This place itself will be the proof."

Linsey’s eyes brightened. "That’s actually pretty smart."

Cynthia slowly nodded. "A newly established faction occupying the battlefield of two defeated sects would attract attention almost immediately."

Damian remained silent for a few seconds before grinning. "Oh... that sounds fucking convenient. And honestly, it’s a really good plan."

He looked around at the ruined battlefield again, but this time, his expression was completely different.

Instead of destruction, Damian now saw fame, reputation, and most importantly... free advertising.
