Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 248: Master Knows His Harem Route

Damian had finally understood the rules surrounding his harem members’ fates, so he pushed himself to his feet and decided to leave his room.

Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn had already escaped the sources of their original bad endings.

Now that Damian understood how important their growth in the current world had become, he wanted to personally check on them and see how they were doing.

However, the moment he opened the door and stepped outside, his body froze.

Selvara was standing in the courtyard.

Her long white hair shifted faintly in the breeze while her cold eyes remained fixed directly on him.

Damian’s mouth moved before his brain could properly react. "Damn, Master, you’re here!"

The moment those words left his mouth, Damian immediately realized how that sounded.

His back straightened, and he quickly adjusted his expression into something far more respectful. "Oh... you’re here, Master. It’s been a while."

Selvara silently looked at him.

Her gaze moved over his body for a moment, clearly sensing his cultivation and aura before she finally spoke. "Indeed. It has been a while."

Damian coughed lightly.

For some reason, the calm way she said those words made him feel like he had just been caught doing something suspicious.

Selvara continued, "It seems you survived the Sword Tomb."

Damian immediately put on a confident expression. "Of course. I’m your disciple, after all."

Selvara’s expression remained completely unchanged. "And judging from your aura, you obtained something good inside."

"Damn. Even with the [Aura Mask Ring], Master can still sense something?"

He kept his expression steady and answered casually, "A little bit."

Selvara stared at him.

Damian endured her gaze for two breaths before quickly correcting himself. "...Maybe more than a little."

Selvara did not bother asking any further. Instead, she directly changed the subject. "Where are you going?"

Damian blinked and pointed toward himself. "Me? I was just going to take a stroll."

Selvara’s gaze immediately became flat. "Don’t lie to me."

Damian’s mouth closed. "I already know where you’re going."

Her voice remained cold and calm. "You’re going to see those harem members of yours, aren’t you?"

Damian’s mouth twitched. "Damn. You know?"

He had not even left the courtyard yet.

Before Damian could come up with an excuse or decide whether an excuse was even worth attempting, Selvara simply turned away. "Come back quickly."

Damian paused. "Huh?"

Selvara began walking toward her own room without looking back. "I need to speak with you tonight."

Her tone remained as calm as ever, but there was enough seriousness behind it that Damian immediately knew the conversation was probably important.

Once she finished speaking, Selvara continued toward her residence and left him standing alone in the courtyard.

Damian stared after her in complete confusion. A few seconds later, his expression slowly changed. "Wait a damn minute..."

He looked in the direction Selvara had disappeared. "How is this possible?"

His brows rose higher. "She actually let me go even though she knows I’m going to see my harem members?"

Usually, Selvara would at least scold him, smack him, drag him somewhere, or make some cold remark about his shameless behavior.

Yet this time, she had done none of that. She had simply told him to come back quickly.

Damian rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Damn... has Master changed?"

He seriously considered the possibility for a moment. A few breaths later, however, he shook his head. "No. Impossible."

Knowing Selvara, there was probably a much simpler explanation.

Whatever she wanted to discuss tonight was important enough that she simply did not give a damn what Damian did before then, as long as he came back on time.

Damian glanced once more toward her residence. "Whatever. I’ll find out tonight."

With that thought settled, he turned away from the courtyard and continued toward his original destination.

---

Damian soon arrived at the residence where Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn were staying.

Before he even entered, he could already sense four familiar auras coming from inside.

A moment later, the door opened.

Linsey was the one who appeared, and the instant she noticed Damian standing outside, her eyes immediately brightened.

She quickly covered that reaction with her usual playful expression. "Oh? Young Master Damian finally remembered us?"

Damian’s lips immediately curved upward. "Of course I remembered you. After all, you’re part of my harem, aren’t you?"

Linsey giggled softly rather than bothering to argue with him. "Sure, sure. They’re all inside. Please follow me, Young Master."

She stepped aside and allowed him in.

Damian followed Linsey deeper into the residence and soon saw the other three women waiting inside.

Helena crossed her arms and looked him over from head to toe. "It seems you really survived the Sword Tomb, Young Master."

Cynthia gave him a gentle smile. "Welcome back, Young Master Damian. It’s good that you returned safely."

Evelyn merely glanced at him for a moment before speaking softly. "You’re alive, huh?"

Damian’s mouth twitched. "Why the hell does everyone sound surprised about that?"

Linsey covered her mouth and giggled. "Because you somehow manage to cause trouble wherever you go."

Damian immediately placed one hand over his chest. "Cruel. All of you are fucking cruel."

Even though their words were sharp, Damian could still tell they were genuinely happy to see him return safely.

They simply had different ways of showing it.

Linsey hid it behind teasing, Cynthia was openly gentle, while Helena and Evelyn were far more stubborn about expressing their concern.

Damian’s expression gradually warmed.

A second later, however, something about their auras finally caught his attention.

His eyes sharpened slightly as he carefully sensed all four women again. "Wait a damn minute..."

Linsey immediately lifted her chin proudly, clearly having waited for him to notice. "Hehe. Finally noticed, Young Master?"

Damian stared at them. "Don’t tell me..."

Linsey’s pride became even more obvious. "Of course."

She gestured toward the others. "We worked hard while you were busy running around causing trouble. All four of us have already entered the Golden Core Realm."

Damian’s eyebrows rose.

Helena flexed one hand as her cultivation aura faintly stirred around her. "Don’t underestimate us, Damian. We worked much harder than you think."

Cynthia gently rubbed the storage ring on her finger before adding, "Still, we have to thank you. Without all the resources you gave us, our cultivation would never have progressed this smoothly."

Evelyn remained quiet beside them.

She did not bother adding anything since the other three had already said everything that needed to be said.

Damian looked over the four women again before letting out a satisfied laugh. "Good. Very fucking good."

He crossed his arms proudly. "As expected of my [Forbidden Immortal Harem]."

The four women exchanged glances at the ridiculous name, though none of them bothered making any overly emotional response.

They were already far too accustomed to Damian’s shamelessness.

A moment later, however, Damian’s familiar troublesome expression returned. "Since all four of you worked so hard..."

He reached toward his storage ring. "Your generous Young Master naturally couldn’t come here empty-handed."

The moment those words left his mouth, all four women’s attention immediately snapped toward him.

Linsey’s and Cynthia’s eyes practically sparkled, while Helena and Evelyn also showed interest.

They didn’t make it nearly as obvious, but Damian still noticed the excitement in their expressions.

Damian immediately caught every single reaction and grinned even wider. "Hehehe... now those are the expressions I wanted to see."
