Vulkara waited anxiously for the answer.

Although she tried to maintain her usual proud and confident appearance, her fingers had already tightened around the handle of her hammer.

Damian noticed the small movement and quietly smiled to himself.

Garron noticed it as well, but the old blacksmith wisely said nothing.

The entire forging room remained strangely silent.

Finally, [Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] spoke in its rough, heavy voice. "Barely passable."

Vulkara’s expression immediately stiffened, and her brows furrowed. "Barely?"

Damian glanced toward the floating hammer and clicked his tongue. "Hey, don’t scare her like that."

The hammer spirit burst into loud laughter. "Hahaha! Fine, fine. You’re barely passable, but you still passed."

Vulkara’s eyes immediately lit up, although she quickly tried to hide her excitement by lifting her chin.

The hammer spirit continued, its crimson-black flames surging with obvious interest. "From now on, with me here to guide you, you’ll become the strongest blacksmith around."

Vulkara froze for a moment.

A second later, a fierce smile slowly spread across her face. "Heh. Of course I will."

Garron’s mouth twitched as he watched her confidence recover almost instantly. "This girl’s confidence really grows fast."

Damian crossed his arms proudly and nodded as though Vulkara’s achievement belonged partly to him. "As expected of my disciple."

Vulkara immediately shot him an irritated look. "Don’t make it sound weird."

Damian looked completely unbothered. "Too late."

The atmosphere inside the forging room became noticeably lighter.

Since [Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] had already accepted Vulkara, Damian saw no reason to waste any more time. He still had another important matter to settle.

His gaze shifted toward the massive floating hammer. "Tyrant, I have a question."

The hammer spirit slowly turned toward him. "What?"

Damian immediately pointed toward Garron. "This old man is in love with a woman who only has eyes for swords. He wants to forge a sword for her, but neither of us knows what kind of sword she would actually like."

Garron’s face instantly darkened. "You brat, say it more respectfully."

Damian waved his hand dismissively. "That was already respectful."

Garron’s fingers twitched.

[Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] remained silent for several breaths before slowly turning toward Garron.

"So... This old man wants to win the heart of a woman who only gives a damn about swords, and his brilliant plan is to forge a sword for her?"

Damian nodded seriously. "Basically."

The hammer spirit stared at Garron. "Hey, old man."

Garron raised an eyebrow. "What?"

The hammer spirit spoke with complete bluntness. "Are you nuts?"

Garron’s face twitched violently. "What the hell does that mean?"

The hammer released a dismissive snort. "I don’t know much about women, but even I know this much."

Its enormous head tilted slightly toward Garron. "Your love life is basically fucked."

Damian’s shoulders shook as he desperately held back his laughter.

Garron’s expression became increasingly ugly. "I still want to try."

This time, there was no embarrassment in his voice. Only stubborn determination.

The forging room became quiet again.

[Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] stared at Garron for several moments, seemingly judging whether the old blacksmith was serious.

Eventually, it released a low hum. "Actually... there might be one method."

Garron’s entire demeanor changed immediately.

His eyes sharpened, and he stepped forward without hesitation. "What method?"

The hammer spirit floated slightly higher. "Follow me toward the back of the room first. This isn’t something that should casually be said in front of other people."

Damian frowned. "Why the hell are you making it sound so mysterious?"

The hammer spirit answered bluntly. "Because it really is mysterious."

Its crimson flames flickered as it turned slightly toward Damian. "Besides, even if you knew about it, you wouldn’t be able to do anything with the information. Just let the old man learn it."

Damian’s mouth twitched. "You’re seriously underestimating me."

[Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] immediately replied, "I’m being accurate."

Vulkara nodded beside them. "Sounds accurate."

Damian slowly turned toward his disciple with an expression of pure betrayal. "Even you?"

Vulkara looked away as though she had said nothing.

Damian could only sigh and wave one hand dismissively. "Fine, fine."

He leaned back against the chair and crossed one leg over the other. "Go teach the old man his impossible romance trick."

---

Garron and [Infernal Forge Tyrant Hammer] soon disappeared into the back room, leaving Damian and Vulkara alone in the forging room.

Damian glanced at Vulkara, then at the heavy dagger she had just forged. Satisfaction appeared in his eyes as he gave a small nod. "Congratulations, Vulkara."

Vulkara froze slightly.

For once, she did not immediately snap back at him.

Instead, she turned her face away, the tips of her ears becoming faintly red as she muttered, "Thank you."

Damian’s expression softened a little.

For a proud tsundere like Vulkara to honestly thank him without throwing in an insult or complaint afterward was already rare enough.

He leaned back against the wall and folded his arms comfortably. "Alright, then. Vulkara, you’re my disciple, and I haven’t forgotten about your revenge."

Vulkara’s fingers tightened slightly around the handle of her hammer.

The warmth in her expression faded almost immediately.

Damian continued, "Once I finish dealing with some things involving Master Selvara, we can handle it."

He spoke casually, as though discussing an ordinary trip outside the sect, but the seriousness in his eyes made it clear he had not forgotten his promise.

Vulkara stared at him for several breaths as a troubled frown gradually appeared on her face. "Master... it seems we can’t do this recklessly."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Vulkara’s expression became noticeably heavier. "I already received some news from Elder Sister Violetta."

Damian’s eyes shifted slightly. "News about Fionel?"

Vulkara nodded.

Just hearing that name caused the Flame Qi around her body to flicker uncontrollably for a moment.

"That bitch has already become a core disciple of Darius, the Sect Master of the Great Flame Sect."

Damian’s relaxed expression immediately changed. "Sect Master Darius?"

Vulkara’s jaw tightened as she nodded again.

Being an ordinary core disciple was already troublesome enough. Becoming the personal core disciple of the Great Flame Sect’s Sect Master was an entirely different matter.

She continued through gritted teeth, "That’s not all."

Damian’s gaze sharpened.

Vulkara clenched the hammer in her hand even tighter. "She has also broken through to the Golden Core Realm."

For a breath, the forging room became completely silent.

The roaring furnace continued burning beside them, yet Damian barely noticed the heat anymore.

He simply stared at Vulkara, genuinely caught off guard by what he had just heard. "What the hell?!"
