Chapter 197: The Stranger
I looked at the school where I was attending as the eyes were following me as soon as I step out from the car.
"Have you heard?"
"Heard what?"
I hear them saying as they were whispering at the hallway.
"I didn’t know that Jessie wasn’t her biological cousin."
I remeber that person who said this as she was always tagging with Jessie, and even went in one of our company’s party.
Jessie’s identity had been long sealed as grandpa tries to concealed it by letting everyone that Jessie was Uncle’s child from his wife when they still haven’t got married and made a made up story that Uncle and Lerisa had a past that results her being born.
Grandpa did it as Uncle begged him in the past to do it as he said Jessie had suffered enough in the hands of her step-father and grandparents and he didn’t want to add some salt to the wound and made it worse.
"Yes, that woman even told us that Lucille took everything from her, it turns out she was a daughter of a criminal."
One of her friend said as they were blabbering things, this is where they were good at.
At talking people behind their backs.
They were born in families, but it didn’t do anything to their distasteful act.
I continued walking as I was summoned by my teacher for my proposed study.
When I get out from the school everyone still looking at me, back then whenever they looked at me there were discontempment in their eyes, now there’s some admiration.
How pathetic.
They will all be licking your feet if you are higher than them, but if you fall you are worse than anything in the world in their eyes.
I was in the car when suddenly the driver step on the break and followed by a loud sound
"What’s going on?"
I asked the driver, good thing I buckled always buckled the seatbelt or else I already flew to the other side of the car.
"W-we hit someone..."
The driver said as he looks worried.
"Let’s see..."
I said calmly as I open the car’s door, I just hope that the person wasn’t hurt that much.
I dialed the emergency number and told them the details when I saw a person lying.
I looked at that person and saw blood on the ground,
I went near to him to check if he was still breathing.
"We must bring him to the hospital..."
The people who were also there was panicking as they saw that there are many blood on the ground.
"No, we mustn’t touch him it might get worse, does anyone here knew anything how to do first aid?"
I asked as I looked around and only saw people shaking their heads.
Why is the ambulance so long, I looked again and went back to the car to see if I had some thing that can supress the bleeding.
But I couldn’t find anything inside the car.
I was about to go to the nearest store or pharmacy when I heard the ambulance siren.
"Oh, thank goodness!"
I said in relief as I saw the ambulance stopped in front of our car.
The rescuers check the man first, before they do something with him and take him inside the hospital.
We followed the ambulance to the nearest hospital.
The man was rushed to the er, and we were waiting outside the door.
My driver went to fetch us some water and snacks since we still haven’t eaten our lunch yet, I told him to buy one for him and for me.
The operation was still ongoin as the doctor already explained to us that the man was in a critical condition and he had lost so much blood.
I was still anxious as I was waiting, I didn’t know why am I feeling something heavy on my chest, I looked at my phone when I heard it ringing.
"Mom." I said as I answer the call.
"Where are you Lucci?"
She asks as she sound worried.
She and Dad must have peaked at my schedule and saw that I should have been at home two hours ago.
"I ran in some trouble."
I said as I was patiently still waiting for my driver and for the doctors.
"Trouble? Where are you?"
It seems like my dad took over the phone as he was now the one who’s speaking with me.
"I am at the hospital."
I said as I sighed.
"Hospital?!"
Dad exclaimed as I mentioned the hospital.
"Oh my goodness! Are you okay there?!"
I heard my mom said frantically over the phone when she seems to hear the word hospital from dad.
"I am okay, but we hit someone."
I said as I sighed again, I saw my driver walking and he looked paled when he saw me talking to my phone.
He might be worried that he will get kicked out from the his new job.
"Y-Young M-Miss..."
He said hesitatingly and I looked at him with assuring eyes.
"You’re not hurt right? I shouldn’t let you with the new driver.."
Mom said as she seems to be panicking.
"You shouldn’t worry about me, besides it’s an accident, "
I said though I knew that it was so insensitve of me, but accident do happened no matter how careful we are on the road if it is bound to happened we couldn’t do anything, what the matter the most is how will you take the consequences.
"Is the person you hit okay?"
Dad asked as he looked worried as he too been in accident before that almost made him to be crippled.
"I don’t know, the doctors still haven’t got out from the operating room" I replied at him over the phone.
I was just hoping that the person lying there is alright, regardless of what happened even if it is an accident a person’s life is only one, and it shoudn’t be treated like what happened to Mr. Juls life.
That hag thinks that someone’s life is nothing for her and her daughter to be just fine.
"Lucci are you still there?"
I was back to my senses when I heard my mom speak and call my name.
"Yes. I am still here." I answered as I sighed as I looked again at the door of the operating room.
They asked more questions and even want to come here, but I didn’t agree.
I looked at the clock and saw that it has been almost two hours since they entered the operating room, and the doctors and nurses still haven’t come out yet.
"Young Miss."
I looked at the person who called me and saw the driver who also looks worried has already arrived and was holding some food on his hands.
I took some food from his hand and nodded at him when I saw him hesitating to accept the food as he looks very pale.
After we finished eating, the door suddenly opened and the doctors along with the other nurses came out from the operating room.
"Lady Lucci."
The doctor said as he acknowledge my presence, he was even surprised to see me when he was about to enter the operating room awhile ago, after all this place was owned by my grandfather which I inherited from him.
"How is he?"
I asked as I looked at the door of the operating room where the man was still in.
"He was fine ."
He said as he look confused at a moment.
"Are you sure there aren’t any damaged?"
I asked as I looked at the doctor who looks at me.
"To be frank, I was also lost for a moment when we were operating him, there was something wrong with that man, like when he arrived at the operating room, he surley lost a lot of blood, and when we did some test for his head, there was some blood clot there, but it suddenly disappeared like it wasn’t there."
He said as he look confused at what he just witness inside the operating room.
"The man has a lot of broken bones, I don’t know if our eyes were just playing with us, but it was back to normal before we could even tend to it."
He said as he explained things, what on earth is wrong with that man?
Is he some kind of elemental being?
"Where did you even found him, Lady Lucci?"
The doctor said as he looks at me with curiousity on his eyes.
"Found? I didn’t found him, we just ran him on the street."
I said as I looked at the doctor who sighed at what I said.
"Never in my entire years of medicine where I ever encountered such things."
The doctor said as he looked at me with confusion on his eyes.

Flamear slapped his paw on his forehead at what he did.
He just made them confused as he forgot for a moment that the people there are not the same as the people in their world.
He was worried about Hellion getting smacked by a car when he did some teleportation.
He acted recklessly as he was worried the he would die there, and he didn’t even knew that his magic would work in that world without him being there.
"See what you’ve done?"
He looked at Elida who was looking at him with disappointment on his eyes.
"But at least they already met or should I say they were now together?"
Flamear said as he looked at Elida who just shook her head at him.
He knew he needed to do something to make a balance to their world and to the other world.
Flamear closes his eyes and tried his luck once again.
He will wiped their memories about what happened inside the operating room, and would tampered with different one. He just hopes everything will work as he could feel that someone in that world who also came from their world has woken up.
