[VRMMO] Dead One

[2 and half in game month later.]

"Hey, did you heard the rumors?"

"You mean about Wumi clan?"

"Yeah. Pretty much everybody heard about them by now."

"But get this! There is a discovery that apparently be made!"

"The so-called Drug Fishes that were used on the Wumi clan were found in Wo’won clan’s storage!"

"What? That got to be a lie or somebody is aiming to frame the Wo’won clan."

"Obviously many thought of that. Some people say that it was Muwi clan who planted the evidence that people wouldn’t look at them."

"...Now that you say that... Wouldn’t that make sense if it was them?"

"What do you mean?"

"He is saying that Muwi clan may had planted the whole thing from the start! They may had just sacrificed their own people lives in order become stronger!"

Rumors and conspiracy spread around like wild fire.

The Wumi clan, a clan that was thought to had been brough to ruins by the mad prince of the clan, was just discovered to had been manipulated.

Obviously to this day many people believed that the Wumi clan spread that information in total desperation so the people would regain their trust in them.

However, something weird started happening.

Evidence that the Wumi clan spoke off was found in the Wo’won clan’s territory by accident.

A weird genocided where entire boat alongside its crew was murdered... And weirdly enough, all of the boxes which should contain their catches were empty... But there was one thing found.

The frenzy piranha.

Obviously, many people said from the get go that it was attempts at framing the Wo’won clan... But then another rumors started spreading around.

The people who talked about the rumors and tried intentionally spreading them around had gone missing.

Obviously, it only gotten people more curios, causing more and more rumors and conspiracy talks popping up, which not only were targeted at the Wo’won clan, but pretty much all of the clans of the dragon empire.

And then this rumor started spreading around.

"But why somebody would do that?"

"I mean, Wumi clan was strong when they were in alliance with Muwi clan, but they were really not doing anything extremely big?"

"Do you think somebody from outside of the empire targeted them? Like a grudge?"

"No. It still wouldn’t make sense..."

"..."

"What if somebody from within the empire started it all?" – said the man in the hood.

"?"

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it. It doesn’t make whole sense at all, the whole story, but at the same time, it perfectly does." – said the man in the hood.

"What if somebody was aiming to turn the dragon clans against each other?" – said the man in the hood.

"But why?"

"Because they want themselves counter the empire." – said the man in the hood.

"What if they want the dragon empire destroy itself, manipulating the whole empire into falling into their trap and allowing their clan to take over the whole empire?" – said the man in the hood.

Conspiracy.

This rumor started spreading like a wild fire.

That there was a traitor amongst the dragon clans, a clan that aimed to betray the whole empire and take the total control over it.

It was a mad talk at first... But as more days would go by... The accusation would keep increasing.

(Huh... Wow, her plan is really working.) – thought Oron as he was observing from the shadow as the brawl between different clan members started happening in the neutral city.

(Spread around false rumors and conspiracies.)

(Put fake evidence here and there so people would look around and what not.)

(It was bloody to say the least... But the plan is working.)

(The chaos is starting to spread nicely and at the rate things are going, the dragon clans will have no choice.)

(But to start their own investigations.)

"Welp, I really didn’t wanted to do that myself, but as can freaking see, it is the only thing that is working." – replied Oron.

"I’m observing the dragon clans’ movement and I can say, that they really are aiming to do their job."

"But still, I don’t have any evidence yet."

"Whoever is responsible is probably panicking big time."

(Still, I didn’t really thought he would cause all of this.) – thought ClownFrog.

(When was the last time when Oron made use of his manipulation and assassination skills to cause so much chaos and destruction like this?)

(I think it was during the last great war that swallowed the entire continent where he could go all out like this.)

(But again... He caused so much death and even more will follow soon.)

(If the dragon empire finds out that it was OUR doing, then they will declare war on us without hesitation.)

(It is risky... But then again, if the plan works out, the dragon empire will be saved.)

["What about Wo’won clan and the Pyrgos clan’s reactions?"]

"Well, I did put a lot of pressure on the Wo’won clan with the planted evidence, forcing them to do stuff and announcing that they will punish the criminal who is aiming to destroy the peace of the empire."

"And as for the Pyrgos clan, they tried using words first alongside few other clans, before then decided to take action directly."

["I’ve asked if everything was alright and if we should provide some help to them or not."]

["We came to the conclusion that it would be a dumb decision, since it would make the Pyrgos clan look suspicious if my forces were to appear there out of nowhere like that in that chaos."]
