Chapter 376: A Little Light Training

Sponsored

Without words or resistance, the large thug that they had met in Smith’s workshop ushered the pair of them into an alleyway for some privacy. If people they passed by even noticed something was wrong, none of them bothered to interfere.

They had places to go, people to meet and things to do. Such was life in the city. Besides, it was nothing they didn’t see nearly every day.

But the girls were not too broken up about it, that would ruin the fun after all.

"So, what are you going to do to us? All we have on us is clothes, I doubt they will fit you, and we don’t have any cash on us. We don’t even have expensive implants to rip. Honestly, I think you chose a really bad target."

Valerie said with a bored sigh as they finally made it somewhere private. The gun being jammed into her back was really starting to annoy her, especially because he kept jabbing it every time he felt she was walking too slow. Could this idiot not take a look at her situation and understand the basic context clues? Of course she was going to walk slow!

"Hehe, Don’t you worry Dolly. There are other ways I can get some uses out of your bodies. So who wants to go first, huh? The Broken Doll or the Pretty doll? Hehe~"

He chuckled lowly, licking his lips and practically drooling down his chin as he dragged a crooked finger down Valerie’s cheek.

She scoffed in annoyance and swiped his hand away in disgust, which only earned another irritating jab in the back and another creepy laugh from this big idiot.

"You know," Valerie said with a smirk. "I was just thinking the same thing. How about it Lil? You wanna go first? Practice some of your new techniques that I taught you? I heard you were kind of sloppy on the last outing."

"Sure! Although I wouldn’t call it sloppy." Lucy smiled brightly, placing down their bags and started to slip off her jacket. All of which simultaneously baffled the thug and excited him to an even higher degree.

To act like this, these girls must have been real freaks! They must have been real Night-Dolls, going to Smith for some ’upgrades’. He was already starting to imagine what kind of ’techniques’ these two dolls had been practising on each other or with other men, especially if the pretty one was ’sloppy’!

His smile spread wider and drool dripped down his chin, causing it to make a wet smack when Lucy’s fist smashed into that very same chin.

He flew back a metre, his back crashing into a wall that his head swiftly smacked into a moment later. Lights exploded behind his eyes and his vision blurred, as he slowly slid down the wall until he was sitting on the ground in dazed confusion.

Lucy shook her hand, rubbing her knuckles slightly before flexing her fingers.

"Damn, this guy has an iron jaw. I wonder how borg’d out he is?"

"Meh, It doesn’t matter. Even if he’s mechanical, there are still some things that you can exploit. Although you could have done better with that punch. Square your stance, hands up... higher... there you go. Protect your chin so that doesn’t happen to you.

Remember, the power comes from the legs, so pivot more when you punch, and try to aim to punch through what you are aiming at."

Valerie stepped away from her ’kidnapper’ and started to tap her cane against Lucy’s arms and legs, as she stood in a classic boxers stance. She fixed all the little errors that she could see in Lucy’s stance.

She assumed the stance herself, sinking into it like an old familiar armchair, and threw a few slow mock punches to demonstrate proper form.

"What the..." The Thug muttered, his speech slurred as his jaw, although intact, was dislocated. His blurred eyes quickly locked onto the gun he had dropped as he lunged at it before the girls could notice.

Even with his vision impaired, he raised the gun to perfect kill shots and pulled the trigger four times, two for each of them. However there was nothing. Not a peep, not a boom, not even a click.

He frowned in confusion and squeezed the trigger with as much strength as he could muster, but it just wouldn’t budge. It was as if something was behind it, blocking it from firing.

Valerie glared at him with a single finger raised, like a mother scolding a petulant child.

"Excuse you, Did no one tell you that it is rude to interrupt people when they are talking? And to bring a gun to a training session, even worse."

She waggled her finger dismissively, before flicking it to the side, ripping the gun from the Thugs hand and causing him to let out a little yelp of surprise. They were one of the freaks! The ones that played that kids game and became mutants!

The Thug tried to scramble away, but he was swiftly lifted off of the ground by an invisible force. The metallic skeleton he had paid top dollar for literally dragging him up like he was a puppet on his master’s strings, before he was placed down onto his feet once again.

"Alrighty! Let’s continue with the fighting lesson!" Valerie announced with a smile and a clap of her hands, as Lucy lunged at the stunned Thug once again. This time twisting her hips properly and driving her fist into his chest like a freight train.

The Nameless Thug let out a wheezing groan before coughing up a mouthful of thick, spittle mixed synth-blood onto the ground. Allowing it to congeal into the same puddle as the rest of his blood.

His body was beaten and broken, covered in bruises, scraps and physical indentations from where his supposedly indestructible steel bones had been shattered. Even his mechanical hand was busted from when he tried to fight back, only for the crazy doll to meet his punch with a headbutt, and for him to come out the loser in that clash!

The freaks looked down at him as he writhed in pain, one with a slight hint of pity and the other with cold indifference. Funnily enough it was the one that had put him in this situation that was giving him pity.

"Come on, We should probably go. That’s enough, He’s learned his lesson, right?" Lucy suggested with a soft smile, tugging at Valerie’s arm.

But she simply ignored her, raising her other hand towards the Thug. She made a pinching gesture, before opening her hand and spreading her fingers slowly as if they were meeting resistance, like if they were tied together with a rubber band.

On the ground, the Thug let out panicked and gagged groans of agony as all of his parts were pulled in different directions. His implants lifted off of his skin, tugging against what flesh remained, as they fought against each other.

His steel bones creaked as they were slowly forced apart, and he could hear his muscle fibres starting to tear as his body ripped itself apart slowly. However the feeling instantly faded when Lucy grabbed Valerie’s arm and dragged it down.

"What are you doing?!" She hissed, causing Valerie to look at her with a confused frown.

"I’m dealing with the problem and taking out the trash. What’s the issue? We’ve done it before."

"In Dawd and with monsters! Not here! Not with people! This... this is wrong." Lucy hissed again, clasping Valerie’s hands in hers as she stared into her eyes. Lucy’s eyes watered slightly, filled with a desperate panic and a fear that caused her hands to tremble as they held Valerie’s, as if she was afraid that if she let go that she would never get hold of her again.

Valerie’s cold gaze drifted down to their hands, before softening. She quickly nodded, keeping one hand clasped with Lucy as she used the other to scoop up the bags, and swiftly left the alleyway without another word.
