"This doesn’t sound easy," Laine nodded. Amelia naturally had a strong claim to the Brescia Prince-Elector and Grand Duke of Weisen titles, but having a claim is one thing, and being able to assume the positions smoothly is another.

"The Emperor has received this lawsuit, and the Imperial Council is officially convened. All Prince-Electors are heading to Brunswick Palace. For instance, Utebad Prince-Elector and Duke Stier, Lord Albert, and Beikafen Prince-Elector and Ostmark Alliance Speaker Wolfram believe that the Imperial Council is not a one-man show by the Emperor. The Schroder family and current Prince-Elector Gani have the right to speak at the Imperial Council."

"What are their conditions?" Laine asked further.

"The Schroder family’s condition is that Emmanuelle must marry Gian Bernardino, transferring the Prince-Elector title through marriage. Simultaneously, Emmanuelle must spend at least six months each year in Weisenburg, undergoing Prince-Elector education," Gaerte explained.

"Marry, have an heir, and undergoing education means being confined," Laine raised an eyebrow. "Until she bears an heir, Amelia will be of no use."

"Naturally, Emmanuelle does not accept this," the Great Alchemist halted and turned to look at Laine. "She revealed two facts that shocked all the Prince-Electors of the Imperial Council."
