After daydreaming for a while, Laine shook his head and walked alone towards the Lake Fairy Tower.

Ever since her pregnancy was confirmed, the female knight had truly enjoyed the treatment of being adored by thousands. She was now ordered by the Lake Fairy to move to the tower to live there, always accompanied by the Lake God Prophet during her outings. It was nearly impossible for outsiders to meet Surya, even if her father Francois wanted to see his daughter, he had to report first.

Only Laine and Mogiana could freely enter and exit the Lake Fairy Tower.

Passing through the mist and entering the tower, the entire valley was dyed white, with branches, grass, and gardens all covered in snow. The sky was bright, and the divine power of the Goddess shone on everything at the top of the Lake Fairy Tower, leaving evil nowhere to hide.

Another Winter Festival, and this was Laine’s tenth year in Brittania.

In the master bedroom of the tower, Laine’s wife Surya was sitting on the pristine, soft bed, draped in a white fox fur coat, talking to the Lake Fairy. The female knight had been pregnant for only a month or two and it was not yet noticeable, but her face was full of happiness, and her expression was joyous. Seeing her husband appear, she happily said, "Laine, you’re here?"

"Laine is here to see his wife and little baby," the Lake Fairy said, holding Surya’s hand and speaking to her. Today, the Goddess was wearing a satin gown with a pure black pearl sheen and silver edges. Seeing Laine appear, there was a strange tone in her voice: "This is Laine’s legitimate firstborn! In the future, this child will inherit all his titles."

Upon learning of Surya’s pregnancy, the Lake Fairy immediately used her divine power to prophesy that it was a son.

What a strong sour taste, Laine smiled helplessly, sitting beside the Lake Fairy. He held his wife’s hand, which reached out from under the blanket, and said somewhat emotionally, "Surya, how do you feel?"

"I feel great, my husband," Surya, now glowing with maternal radiance, proudly and confidently said to Laine: "Being with you... I’m very happy, truly happy."

Having been married for over two years without conceiving was a concern for the female knight. Laine was as strong as an ox in that respect, and with the little maid Amelia also pregnant, it proved that Laine was certainly not the problem, so Surya had been somewhat anxious over the past few months, fearing it was her issue.

Without an heir, her position as a lady would not be secure.

"Rest well, leave everything outside to me, and rest assured while you recuperate," Laine, feeling genuine joy, warmly said: "Don’t worry, I’ve got everything covered."

"Laine! I’m not that fragile!" Surya immediately said discontentedly: "Don’t treat me as a delicate woman, I’m your wife, but I’m also a Kingdom Knight!"

"Surya, rest assured, now that you’re not around, I will keep an eye on Laine," the Lake Fairy said, her green eyes twinkling mischievously: "He won’t get a chance to cause trouble, you can be sure of that."

"Lady, recently Laine is in your care," Surya immediately entrusted the Lake Fairy: "Please, I’m counting on you."

"Did you hear that? My champion, your wife has entrusted you to me, and you better behave, or Surya will be upset," the Lake Fairy immediately pressured Laine.

"I understand," faced with Surya’s request, Laine immediately surrendered, demonstrating his determination to obey his wife’s instructions.

The two of them, along with the Goddess, held hands together in the chilly winter, creating a cozy atmosphere in the room.

The pleasant atmosphere lasted for a while, then the Lake God Witch Mogiana arrived. She entered the room: "My Lady, Laine, the King of the Dwarf Angland Clan Belgar and Duke Boldro Bodrick have both arrived, Francois is hosting them. Should they be let in?"

"Laine, you and Mogiana go receive them, I’ll stay here with Surya," the Lake Fairy gave the order without raising her head, the Goddess directly commanded: "They must be here regarding the invasion of Musillon, so let’s not disturb Surya."

Although Surya usually resides in the Lake Fairy Tower, she still frequently makes appearances outside, and her physical condition is excellent, so there is no need to worry about other issues.

"Hmm, let’s go, Mogiana," Laine stood up.

Mogiana nodded, and the two left the room together, heading down the spiral wooden stairs.

"Laine, um..." while going downstairs, Mogiana suddenly said: "Surya is living here, so are you living alone now, right?"

"Huh?" Laine responded strangely: "Uh... I guess I’m living alone."

"Then should I move out to accompany you?" Mogiana immediately suggested: "With the Lady residing in the tower regularly now, I could move out to keep you company, you may need someone by your side."

"Let’s talk about this next time," Laine, knowing Mogiana’s intentions, quickly shook his head to change the subject: "Mogiana, do you know what Francois and the others are gathering together for?"

"It’s about the invasion of Sharp-Top Palace," Mogiana, a bit unhappy with Laine’s lack of response to her suggestion, remarked: "You’ll know when you get there."
