Chapter 1158 - 501: Defend Crok! (Part 3)
The Lord of Change is a creature with a Crescent Bird head and wings on its back. It raised its Magic Staff, unleashing the power of the Lord of Change lavishly. It flapped its wings to avoid mortal attacks, and waves of blood surged from its staff, swallowing the Lizardman Warriors. Many resilient Lizardman Warriors met their end.
It quickly encountered an enemy.
A pure blast of Magic Energy struck its face, burning half of its twisted visage. The Lord of Change let out a piercing scream, one of its eyes was blinded, while the other saw a second-generation Demon Toad seated on the Golden Throne, not uttering a word, just raising its hand.
The multicolored flames and erupting blood tides were dispersed by powerful Mana, the Lord of Change’s Magic was interrupted, and the Demon Toad planned not to give the Great Demon of Tzeentch any chance, promptly chanting the next Spell.
Soul Tempering!
A Magic beam half a meter wide enveloped the Lord of Change, yet the Lord was no ordinary foe. It shrieked praises to Tzeentch as Chaos Magic formed a dark blue shield to protect it.
Meanwhile, the battle continued; on the ground, the Lizardman Legion clashed with Chaos Demons, and in the sky, colorful light screens and lightning were the battlefield for Demon Toads and Chaos Mages. Explosions and Spell sounds echoed like thousands of years ago when the Lizardmen resisted Chaos.
All of this was precisely within Warlord Kuga’s plan. When the Chaos Legion approached the Lizardman Legion, Kuga wisely commanded a strategic lure to draw them in. Shortly after a collective javelin throw, Spirit Lizard Stragglers, under the Lizardman Warriors’ cover, retreated orderly into the battle formations, positioning the strong and braving Lizardman Warriors at the forefront.
Kuga himself rode on the fierce Tyrannosaurus Kuimok, along the battle line, embarking on a hunt of his own. The Divine Tlanxla Battle Spear pierced through Chaos Demons’ faces, tearing their flesh. No Chaos Demon could withstand Kuga’s wrath.
Until a Bloodthirsty Demon appeared before Kuga, exhaling foul air, it found its target.
Before Kuga could prepare to face it, Mazda Moody’s Spell had already arrived.
"Light of Exile!" The Great Lord Shilan raised his Magic Staff, a pure light wave enveloping the Bloodthirsty Demon, and in an instant, Moody’s Mana evaporated it into a pile of ashes.
Then, amidst the chaotic battlefield, came the clear instructions from the Great Demon Lord Toad: "Kuga, do not linger in battle, protect the mentor’s body!"
"Yes!" Kuga realized the Lizardman army on the Starlight Bridge was retreating. He tightened the reins, signaling the Tyrannosaurus Kuimok to withdraw, and along the path, the Divine Tlanxla Battle Spear spun, drinking the blood of at least twenty Chaos Demons.
A quick glance behind revealed a dire situation. Under Kuga’s command, the Winged Dragon Legion swooped into the Chaos Legion’s camp. They spread their wings, gliding through the air, with some diving into the Chaos Legion’s formations bringing destruction to the Chaos Demons, while others dropped massive stone bullets from above, turning many unsuspecting Chaos Demons into piles of flesh.
However, many diving Winged Dragon Riders never rose again. The Desire Knights of Slaanesh released sharp cries, dancing across the battlefield. Agile in form, their blades like illusions slayed the diving Winged Dragon Riders on the spot. Clumsy Nurgle Demons didn’t care about minor wounds; the long spears of Winged Dragon Riders and the claws of the Winged Dragons only deepened and enlarged them. These beasts flapped their wings, screamed, and tumbled on the ground, attempting to free themselves before attackers surged in, but what awaited them was slaughter.
The ocean-like Chaos Demons continued to step onto the battlefield. Besides, Kuga noticed something planned by Skaven Ratmen, and he immediately ordered Cold Lizard Riders and the Tyrannosaurus Group to follow him.
A new charge must be organized!
As the frontmost Lizardman Legion was gradually engulfed by the Chaos tide, the deepest-charging Khorne Legion approached the human frontline. The leading Khorne Bloodletter, riding a Chaos Steel Bull, withstood a volley of hundreds of crossbows and dozens of muskets, directly breaking through the long spear formation of the Ash Legion. The three forefront Long Spear Soldiers were crushed into pulp by the Chaos Steel Bull, and flesh flew.
The Bloodletter was about to shout glory to Khorne when a golden light flashed across its neck.
Head detached.
"Tight formation, aim at the target, the enemy won’t give us a chance to reload!" Fugen gripped the Golden Power Sword in his hand tightly, loudly issuing orders: "Quick!"
No sooner had he spoken than the Great Demon of Slaanesh had flown in front of him: "What a perfect human!"
"I am Azazel, chief under the Prince of Joy’s seat. May I be fortunate to know your name, mortal?"
