To me, Reggie is a little special.

Someone who is a benefactor of life and can also understand everything that cannot be shared with others.

It's only a one year difference, but he's also someone who scolds me and tries to help me to the point of risking my life, both because of his height and because of his position as my guardian.

When I think of being similar to him, it is Master Horace that comes to mind.

We can talk about magic that we can't share with anyone else, and we can understand each other. It is also like a guardian who supervises and guides his training as a magician in the first place. He made me a sorcerer in a situation that would even more redeem my life.

Master and Reggie.

People in standing positions like the two of us have been missing a long time in this life.

When Reggie said she was my guardian, I did think she was, and at the same time, I felt reassured that I had a family because Reggie had behaved like a guardian.

Like a father in a previous life. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching my rebellious daughter to the end.

I was not sure when I felt rebellious about the words Miss Cecilia told me to stay away from.

I wasn't in love, but I didn't know how I felt about that, but now I can explain it to others.

If they say the same word to my master, I'll do it all the time. I was a person, and I hated putting it on the table because I was a heterosexual reggie near my age, and although it was hard to understand what the direction my emotions were headed for, I think I would have made it clear if the out-of-the-box master had been the subject of it.

"I absolutely don't like leaving my master," he said.

I wanted to say the same thing to Reggie.

"I don't have the muscles to be separated from my family," he said.

But that's how I got someone who could be sweet as' Father's Replacement ', and I was too alarmed to think I'd cut him off. Think Reggie will think about it later.

Even though there were a number of different situations than what I knew.

- That's when I looked back, called my name.

It was a miracle for me to just be able to capture the flying arrows in my sight.

It was just a flash of events, so I couldn't even get away with it, and I just wondered if I was going to die suddenly.

At the edge of his sight, he saw far away what Mr. Cain was trying to rush. But before Mr. Cain got there, my arm was pulled. That's not enough. All I was held in was a breast covered in a blue jacket.

Almost at the same time, something heavy sounded like a bump.

Groaning. I can see the force entering the neck muscle of the person who ate up his teeth.

- An arrow stabbed me.

The whole body caught my blood from it.

My head confuses me with the smell of Reggie holding me to shelter all the time and things I didn't want to happen.

"Reggie. Reggie, huh?

That's a lie. That's a lie.

The siege battle is over. The Luainian army, which had some magicians and found it difficult to attack with reinforcements, left for other territories. To accept reinforcements from the nobles who have already made us companions and to attack the King's Capital first.

It was in distant memory, Reggie's figure of falling from being shot by an arrow wasn't supposed to be real anymore.

"Reggie, no, you're lying!?

Reggie won't answer me though.

Leaking only groans, Reggie leans on me like she can no longer support her body.

I couldn't support Reggie like that and I got on my knees on the spot.

But I don't know what more to do. Confirm your injuries? See where you stabbed him? If you still find out you can't do it so well.

"Oh no..."

I'm scared and I can't be sure. My whole body trembled small and I couldn't move one finger.

"Your Highness!"

Someone finally came for me.

The guy tried to hold Reggie in my place, but now Reggie's arm can't leave. Someone who gave up on pulling away seems to have tried to do something about the arrows anyway.

Excuse me, Your Highness.

There was a sound of my clothes being mutilated. I guess to see the injury.

I shrug myself unexpectedly.

I don't want to hear it. If they say it won't help, it's going to work out, and I can't wait to be scared. But his ear-blocking hand remains hugged by Reggie on every back.

But as Reggie's arms felt my fright, so much strength could be caged.

Still alive. Just figured it out, I'm just a little out of shoulder strength.

Eventually what I heard was an unexpected word.

"I'm just stabbing you in the shoulder..."

Just what the hell is it? I keep beating as hard as my chest did when I was fully ill, and I'm going to hold my breath.

"What about Your Highness!

"The arrow is at the shoulder. I haven't stabbed him in the heart. I'm not even deep enough to hurt my lungs because I was shot from afar"

"Then why isn't His Highness moving?

... not stabbed in the heart.

What I found out from the conversation is that I finally start to move in my head.

The wound is not deep. Reggie won't die?

I have come to know that it is not fatal. But Reggie said she couldn't move. Doesn't that mean Reggie can't possibly suffer so much pain from an arrow wound that she can't move?

"Poison?

"I just have to pull the arrow out quickly... Mr. Chiara, keep your highness in check"

He looked at me and talked to me right around the corner, so I can finally tell that one of the people I've been talking to since earlier is Mr. Cain.

"Yes, sir"

Though I answered, all I have is a lame voice, like after I cried. My heart is still loud and loud.

"Your Highness, have patience!

Shortly after the other speaks, Reggie makes a crooked voice in the back of her throat, leaving her arm loose.

"Reggie!"

"Your Highness!"

Reggie, hugged by me and Mr. Cain, closed her eyes and looked faint.

Until now, Reggie's body had covered me and I didn't see it, but there were a lot of people gathering around me, and I was just about to untie Reggie's wound with first aid, and some stretcher was carrying me from somewhere.

"It's like something's painted on an arrow..."

"Is it poison, after all? Get a doctor and poison him!

"Doctor yet!

Among the shouting people, I was trying to stick to Reggie, and I am pulled apart, and Reggie's body is put on the stretcher the soldiers brought to me.

It was then.

I was so stuck breathing that I thought my stomach would be pressed.

At the same time, sparks scatter around Reggie's shoulder.

"Wow!"

"Don't drop it!

A soldier who had a stretcher on Reggie's left front is about to be taken off and reprimanded.

But the spark got worse, and the stretcher was rushed down to the ground. And Reggie's shoulder became red like a burnt one, and the cloth beside him burned away.

... No way this is about to turn into a sorcerer!?

I ask my master.

"Master, this is not the stone of the covenant."

"I may have applied it firmly to keep it from falling on the arrow. If you get into the body, even a small amount is enough… because you can more than poison kill the person with certainty."

"How to do something..."

"Normally, only those who take in the same stone are affected by the stone that enters the other person. That's why it's a pupil system."

"Oh no..."

There is no such thing as the same stone that would have entered Reggie's body. But if something familiar is happening to me when I become a magician, if I don't do something about it now, Reggie will die in the sand.

"Hey Chiara!?

Ignoring the screaming master, I took the arrow from the dazzling knight and took the arrow away.

It tastes like blood iron.... A little rough is, was there any sand left that didn't manage to get through Reggie's body? I don't know what I used to stiffen it up and apply it, but it stayed ahead of me when I felt like I licked the cream.

He knelt beside Reggie, ignoring his amazing surroundings as they were, trying to touch him.

"Ouch!

It was a flying spark and my fingertips hurt.

But I can't cry. Pain runs on his arm too, but ignores it and touches Reggie's back.

Reggie, whose head was lying sideways, opened her eyes thinly.

"Chiara...... Because it's dangerous... kill..."

The blurred voice is hard to hear, but I could clearly see Reggie sensing what was happening to her and telling her to kill her.

My heart flickered with pain, stained with anger.

"Absolutely not!

Screaming rejection, I searched for the magic in Reggie to explore the dirt as it was.

Just a little bit of contract sand in my mouth burns me up and makes my throat hot. In the meantime, look for the same heat in Reggie.

Pompous and a sign as rare as the midday moon, but the magic that got inside Reggie catches on to consciousness. It was almost in one place, so it still seemed like it was concentrated near the wound.

But from there, he's trying to make it twitch and burn like baking paper.

I try to contain that fever. The spark was scattered thanks to it was healed.

But the stone magic of the covenant inside stays hot as red as a blaze, and it doesn't quite quench the fire. As it is, it destroys Reggie's body one by one.

What should I do?

"Master... stone of covenant inside Reggie... will not fit"

Asking his master for help, Master Horace told him to roar.

"Did I lick the arrow to take in the same thing... but I just took in a small amount, and I can't influence it. If you can't, take it. I can't help you any more than I can use magic anymore. Choose whether you give up or not."

"... give up, nah"

Taking it out could mean spreading Reggie's wounds. Still, it's better than dying like this.

With that in mind, I gathered the magic in Reggie, as I did when I created the Earthlings.

He's losing his mind, Reggie, and he's not responding to anything.

If I opened my eyes while concentrating on my consciousness, some of the skin and muscles that discoloured black from Reggie's wound were exuberant.

Even though it was quick to tackle it, it expressed itself in a range beyond the wound, which scares Reggie into dying from massive bleeding if cut off.

It was me confused, but thanks to my manipulation so far, I realize it's easier to move the magic that got inside Reggie.

When I came up with another way, I pulled the knife Reggie gave me out of my sheath and cut myself on the back of my hand.

Attempt to intrude the flowing blood as it smears onto Reggie's wound.

The thing that most easily conveys my magic would be my flesh and blood. That's what I thought and used blood, but as expected, my magic breaks into Reggie from the wound.

Block the extra magic that I was able to contain a little in that way with my magic to avoid spreading. Then you strengthen my magic - and tame it to a part of Reggie's body that's trapped.

I can tell by the senses that the two magic powers begin to cross like coffee and milk while being heated.

Is it encroached upon by the heat of magic, Reggie was sweating on her neck and forehead.

I'm sure it will be painful. It wouldn't be aptitude. In Reggie, it must be harder than me. But please, just try to be patient until it's over.

As I pray, I keep working.

"Done..."

It controlled the sand magic of the covenant that was in Reggie. Once I felt that way, relieved I fell beside Reggie.
