Watashi wa Teki ni Narimasen!

Maynard City Mercenaries Crusade 2

Mr. Cain and Alan get out in front of me. The two hands had already pulled out their swords. Almost simultaneously, the soldiers behind him rose vigilantly.

But the ice fox did not look frightened, but rather quickly untied the rope and pressed his back against the scoundrel soldier standing next to him.

Getting manipulated, kind of... jealous of that.

I turned my gaze to Alan no matter what I did to this icy fox attitude, which I don't even know if the scouts will miss.

Say it in a way that Alan is baffled.

"For now... why don't you untie me?

"Right, maybe I just want to unload my stuff..."

Agreed, Mr. Cain was stabbed in the nail with a firm "Mr. Chiara shouldn't do it".... How could I have wanted to touch it?

Anyway, the soldier surprised the child down from the ice fox with gestures that didn't even bite him, but rather snuggled him up.

The ice fox sat on the spot saying, "Ha-ha-ha." He started scratching around his shoulder with his hind legs. Though he does have a body slightly larger than a normal fox, to walk with the child on his back, the fox's feet look too idle and luxurious.

"You're a very familiar ice fox."

"That's right. Like there was no hostility from the start, it sounded so cute... so I didn't know what to do."

I was answering Alan's thoughts the way a soldier could.

What? I want to be heard too. I want to touch it, I want to hug it.

He nodded wanting to indulge in that fluffy fur, but Mr. Cain puts his hand on my shoulder and tells me to alert him.

"But ice foxes are warcraft. Intelligence should also be human. If that's just going to make you nostalgic, there must still have been someone in service because they had kids on them."

So the soldiers and I took a lot of breath.

Sure. Someone must have grown this ice fox, put the kid on it, and stuck it with strings. All you can do is use a warcraft called the Ice Fox, a warcrafter...

"Hmm... Leela huh? Leela, where..."

So finally, the child the soldier was holding up woke up. A child with soft flax hair is in the soldier's arms, tiny and twitchy.

Seems like he opened his eyes when the ice fox rang, but I guess it was because he had a strange uncle's face in front of him, and the kid said, "Hia!," he exclaimed, surprised.

"Wow, falling! Calm down!"

"Riri, Leela, Leela Ha!?

The poor soldier nevertheless tried to tamper with the child, but if the child is confused or calls out a name that looks like it belongs to an ice fox.

That also sounds like an ice fox again, and the kid says, "Leela!" He shouted and reached out and said he wanted to go that way.

When the soldier let the child down in front of the ice fox like he did, the child smiled so well that he could understand it even in the dark, holding it all the way to the ice fox.

"Ugh, Leela. Auntie, what happened? What about your house? The fire..."

gradually remembered something, the child grows tearful.

This one was amazed at the appearance of the ice fox, which was left to be a child for the most part. A normal warcraft rarely grows up like a dog. At best, it's about the humans I've taught. But that won't be possible for this child.

Too strange for me to face Alan or Mr. Cain.

On the other hand, the ice fox who hears the child's words, after looking around at us looking for something, urges the child to turn towards me with his nose tip after staring at this one.

"Leela, am I supposed to tell these sisters?

I said so as if the child had noticed the ice fox's intentions. Then the ice fox, staring at me, candles with a tall voice like the dog's out of his throat.

- Like you tell me to listen to this girl.

I guess the kid guessed that too. He spoke to us, in awe.

"Um, help my aunts and fathers! Maynard's burning up because of the other mercenaries!

"Oh, burn it..." said the mercenary on fire?

At the same time as the nod, another scout soldier returned.

"It's tough! The city of Maynard is on fire! Looks like the mercenaries set the fire!

The child's story was corroborated.

Alan asked the soldier as he called for immediate departure.

"Where is the fire coming from?

"The central mayor's hall and thoughts, and a few more places around the north square."

"... maybe you noticed this move. You're going to be able to escape while you're making hassles out of it."

Alan nods to Mr. Cain's words.

"Divide into three hands. The main unit goes to the mayor's hall as planned. Beat the mercenaries on the way out. To cut off the exit, 100 horseback riders will join me at the west gate. Others break in from the east side. Three hundred to slap the mercenaries and a hundred to go."

"... then you don't have to worry about the people inside"

I twinkle and twinkle.

It also takes time there to confirm arson and get the scout soldiers back. Anyone who was inside but a mercenary... is unlikely to help. Because the mercenary who was staying would have a low chance of helping the person who was inside.

"When I extinguish the mayor's hall all at once, I want to go around the city. Because you should be able to extinguish the fire with dirt."

Put your hands up and say it, Alan nodded.

"Cain, I'll take care of Chiara"

Alan and the others ride, and in the meantime the soldiers start moving. I was drawn to Mr. Cain and put on board before him as he rode.

The ice fox pushed him to push about the child against the scoundrel soldier who was still beside him, and he himself came to the side of the horse I rode.

Whoa, the horse's a little frightened.

When this ice fox is confused as to what he wants to do, he shakes his fuzzy thick tail and walks off about us starting to make the horses walk. Will it return to its original owner? We can't leave the kid as he is, and it looks like the scouts from earlier will bring him in.

We go through the woods and down the road to the city of Maynard, built on open land.

You can't put a soldier on foot and protrude, so you can't go on all at once. But the distance wasn't so far away that I was able to get right inside the city wall.

Gates built on city walls about twice the height of their backs had already been opened. They tried to escape during this mess, because the general public was on the run.

And what I saw was smoke going up across the roof of the building. It is clearly visible because its fire source brightens the sky.

We move on to the brighter city at night.

The cobblestone path is for the most part out of town. The mercenaries don't seem to bother to chase after and slaughter them if they don't defy them. Thanks to this, people who would have been lurking avoiding anything that stood out until now take their hand luggage and family and run desperately.

We headed for the center to reflux, and we followed the mayor's hall.

The hall was engulfed in flames for most of the left. No one comes running from inside.... and luckily, the mercenaries had just left the hall.

"Mr. Cain, come closer and stop if I throw!

"We won't get as far as the sword can reach."

In response to my request, Mr. Cain runs the horse. Supported by that arm, I throw a couple of copper coins at the mercenaries I looked back at.

On the stone, the hard sound of coins bouncing.

Where Mr. Cain stopped the horse, I jump off the horse and touch the cobblestone.

As long as it's connected by stone and dirt, my powers can be used.

The mercenaries who noticed us stopped at a distance flipped to attack.

But I'm faster.

Running off, they hit my built stone wall, rolled into raised cobblestones and screamed.

"He's a magician!

"That little girl is the magician!

Wake-up mercenaries point to me, and mercenaries who were behind more who didn't fall run abruptly.

The situation where you are targeted and people with physical differences rush over is pretty scary. But I can't do anything if I'm frightened here. And Mr. Cain will be there.

Mr. Cain gets off leaving his horse in the hands of a soldier caught up from the rear and stands before me. In the meantime I did what I had to do.

Every stone of cobblestone grows mighty.

Create 10 stone dolls the size of an adult who looks like a long, thin person. The stone dolls, under my direction, aligned themselves and headed towards the mercenaries.
