Four days have passed since Chiara was captured by Salehardo.

Reggie seemed unstable every day.

It remains unchanged on the surface.

It corresponds to the surroundings with a soft look that doesn't touch Alan either, nor does it show any haste.

But, uh, there were a lot of moments to think about. He looks out the window with a harsh look on his face.

Yesterday smoke rose in the direction of the town of Riadna, and the look on Reggie's face watching it from the main tower was harsh, and Alan was nervous.

I don't think I know when I'm going to jump out.

I don't know what's going on with Chiara.

Just from the story of Wentworth and the information brought to him by Gina, it is presumed that the king of Salehard named Isaac will not treat Chiara without a bottom.

Salehardo, who wants to end up out of Ruein's, if he wants to make a deal with Falzia in pretty good shape, the sorcerer should come and use it as a bargaining material. If you know Chiara personally, you'll also hear that Reggie is a guardian. I don't think Reggie would do anything decisively angry.

There's just Ruein and Viscount Credias to aid it. How much can a man use his power against sorcery when you set something up?

Reggie still looks at Riadna silently today, and Alan somehow stands next to her and looks all over the place.

Sometimes the Luein army pulled it off, probably because they asked to transport supplies, I could see a carriage coming down the street towards the fort.

Watching that, Alan thinks Reggie's decision down to the fort.

The fort is closer to Delphion than the town. This is more advantageous to receive supplies and soldiers. I guess Reggie thought about it that much.

And not going any further south means we're going to attack Riadna like this and help Chiara.

"... I think Chiara's safe."

So I have to wait for the time of year, but I wanted to tell you not to think about it.

"But Chiara uses too much magic. There is nothing the king of Salehard can do about it. Only Viscount Claudius if I can count on him, but what will he do in exchange..."

Reggie seems to care about it more than anything. It would be because Chiara collapsed because she treated herself, or because her fingertips were about to become sand because of too much magic.

"That guy is pretty shabby. She was trying to catch the sorcerer when you weren't around. He put his fingers back on their own that they were about to turn into sand... Wentworth said. You can do something about it yourself."

"But Chiara... because she's not obsessed"

Reggie's left hand, which was touching the arrow between the main towers, is gripped.

"Wentworth said. He said Chiara can be so innocent because she thinks this world is in the story, even if it's painful or sad."

"Wentworth..."

If that's what Wentworth, who was always beside Chiara, would say, I'm pretty sure.

"I felt that way too...... But I didn't want to notice. If it were, I would think that Chiara would think that this world was all a dream and that if she died, she could go back to the original world full of sweet memories."

"You don't mean that's all. Even Chiara is not as stupid as I've seen her. You wouldn't have thought it was all a dream."

It's just Reggie also thinks he just doesn't realize because he thinks he can let it all go and say goodbye to the world because he's untrained...... Alan thinks so.

Reggie laughed unexpectedly.

"Alan is the most relentless, isn't he? I don't know if Alan's the only one who keeps being silly from the front to Chiara."

"It's because you're really stupid.... because you're fundamentally a favorite, you try to help people until you're a magician, or you're not so smart. You think too much about small things, and you run in weird directions."

With that said, Reggie laughed more and more.

Alan was relieved to see a bright look like that, even if only for a moment.

As we descended from the main tower, an ice fox called Leela, who somehow grew up like a horse, was waiting.

Long after Salehard and Luain's soldiers pulled once and no longer had to be on strict alert outside the fort, Leela appears ahead of Reggie's going at this rate.

"I don't remember being missed much until now. But I know why."

"Really?

"You would have missed Chiara before, wouldn't you? If that's what magicians do, it's because I'm the only one who can feel the remnants of magic right now."

Alan also realizes that it was because of one near death in Evrard.

What entered Reggie's body then is a stone shard of the contract used to become a magician. They say that sometimes roughs up Reggie's body magic and causes malaise.

With Leela, Reggie heads to the fort gate.

There were a few carriages that had just arrived there. It was Emeline who was checking her luggage.

Even though I walk tight in my military uniform, I have a more inflammatory vibe than when I'm wearing a dress because of a nod peeking under my high tied hair or a slightly discerning leg line. Everyone just seems to forget about it as soon as she meets the eye of her cold impression.

Emeline noticed Reggie and reported that she had received the request.

If you think of it as something, it was a giant rat in a cage that was filled with two carriages.

No, unlike regular rats, my body shape is oval and not very ratty. It's called soft brown hair, it's called crushed eyes, I don't even think it's slightly cute...... if it's smaller.

"What's this?

"It's a dirt rat, Alan."

"Why again..."

Alan notices when he calls. Right. I'm gonna use it to help Chiara.

I hear the dirt rat will go straight to Chiara, who uses dirt magic, and try to store it with the copper ore.

With them, Chiara would try to take her away by knocking down enemy soldiers as long as she used witchcraft. And if you don't know where you are, just follow the dirt rat.

Reggie told Emeline.

"Many could die. Is that okay with you?

"Your Highness, dirt mice are inherently warcraft. It's the only thing that's a vermin. I'm somewhat attached to them, but I know they might kill me too, so I've replaced them with a fence."

"I owe this number to you nonetheless. Thank you, thank you."

Emeline laughs bitterly at Reggie's words of thanks.

"Never mind. I want to help Mr. Chiara, too, and as an army, she is the one who needs it. I'll let you dig the hole first, as planned."

Looks like Emeline and I already have a meeting.

Alan was also briefed as he watched the dirt rat taken outside the fort dig the hole.

If it was the plan, I think it was.

Reggie thus began his candidacy to recapture Chiara.

The knights of Reggie, who once encountered them, know the characteristics of a dirt rat well. The anxiety is that Emeline, the owner, is also in there, but she won't have a choice because she's the most familiar with dirt rats.

More than that, Alan was relieved at how Reggie didn't put himself inside the recapture unit.

But what I found out was that it was premature once the end of the war opened.

On Salehard's side, a groundhog appeared.

That alone shows that Chiara is there and recovering enough to manipulate the magic.

Chiara is probably told to attack Falzia in exchange for preserving her figure on Salehardo's side. I had no choice but to do some damage, Alan, but I was surprised by the next action of the Earthlings.

He moved straight to the Luein side and began to kick the Luein soldiers.

Reggie, who had just directed a total attack on the Luein side, laughs and begins to descend his horse and head towards a group that enters with the dirt rat.

The knight who took on Reggie's horse was a giving up face, but not as Alan.

"Looks like Chiara's safe, and I'll pick it up early. So Alan, I asked for the rest."

"You, I would have meant that from the beginning! You were only rooting for your own knight!?

"That's Alan.... I know this is my selfishness. I'd rather go than I'd be the best."

Looking straight at Alan, Reggie declared.

Alan also knew why Reggie was perfect for an entry unit. Reggie is a prince, though.

"With me going, maybe I could get caught. Don't let it shackle you then. [M] So Alan, don't force yourself to save me, either."

For the first time since I was told, Alan knew the sense of despair Chiara would have felt.

Friendly cousin.

Reggie was more of an identity, and that's what Alan treated him where he needed to be. But Reggie wouldn't build a wall on Alan at the fundamentals.

From an early age, Alan knew he was more childish than Reggie.

Reggie already knew and understood a lot more than she did. Instead of being great though, Reggie, who never played with kids her age, honestly followed the plays and pranks Alan taught her.

Tell me you want to know anything because you don't know anything. He was still angry with me and fellowship with me ever since.

Such a response was also adult, and Reggie couldn't say she was completely childish, and Wentworth was worried about such a place, but Alan was happy.

Because I found myself with something I could teach this smart cousin.

That's how I managed to catch up while Reggie was chasing something missing.

Because I wanted to be in a reciprocal relationship.

Would someone like that not be shocked when they tell you not to help them, though they might die?

The person I believed most in in in the world told me that... there was no way Chiara wouldn't be desperate.

This idiot...... and makes a bad habit.

"I don't know how Chiara feels right now. But I don't.... Why do you think I want you to die? Why are you throwing your life out so quickly? By and large, you will be king. And yet what do you mean, throw away your own safety!

Yet Reggie said with a rare and sad look.

"I can't replace you. Only Chiara, nothing else. How many times have I thought about it? If that's wrong as a king's qualities, I don't want to be king"

If it's for Chiara, Alan is stunned by Reggie, who says he'll throw away the throne as well.

Reggie went on to say while she couldn't say anything.

"Alan, I was able to enjoy normal childish behavior because of you. I just needed to be a little crooked because of you. I'll thank you in the meantime because I won't be able to tell you later."

"Damn, I don't want to be thanked! I'm telling you to let me help!

"... you look so much like Chiara."

"What?"

Alan claps out what to say at a time like this. Then the two and the anger came up.

"You, with that said, are somewhat willing to be king, aren't you? Otherwise you wouldn't have led the army so far. But it's a bad idea to cut off everything that pulls your leg because you're a king. Use your good head for nothing anyway, not just cut it off cold, but let them get it all."

To Alan's words, Reggie chuckles after looking like a clap.

"Yeah. I knew you were amazing, Alan. Love it."

"Reggie...... are you okay with the contents of your head?

"Maybe it's weird"

Reggie, who gave it back like that without stopping laughing, had a really neat look.

"But I feel good. Then I'll take care of it."

I guess that word that I left to you has all the things that happened when I couldn't go home, and the country after the Prince disappeared. Scary guy.

But I won't let you and Reggie die.

"... entrusted"

He said the words he returned with determination, and nodded and dropped Reggie off as he went into the dirt rat's digging hole.
