We Live in Dragon’s Peak

Joining the Dragon King

Oldest. The name of the thin-headed old dragon king is Slaney. With the exception of the missing Lazar, the dragon king is currently the best in dragon art.

Next, the middle-aged dragon king is Jura. A master of swordsmanship, he invited me to play a game next time, drawing on Louis Lara.

Beneath it is Yakshion, a dragon king with shallow black skin and muscular bones. You think he's an extremely martial arts guy and everything is Zan's goal guy?

The dragon king of the giant body is Cestalinis. A supermassive two-handed axe user, the most monstrous of dragon kings.

The dragon king with a good tone and cheap attitude is Heorona. A clever man who thinks he's a long spear user and shows skillful dagger cutting in close proximity.

The last is Wall, the youngest young dragon king in this. Dragon art, body surgery, swordsmanship, anything seems like a great guy. And besides me and Master Larsa, there's only one successor to the Eight Dragon Kings.

These six were the dragon kings who rushed me to this demonic raid west of Dragon Peak.

I hear there are four other dragon kings. But this time it was these six people who were able to come quickly.

I wasn't able to see them all, but I was impressed.

I knew as many as six dragon kings on one side, and I never thought I'd be welcomed.

When we were ready for dinner, we introduced ourselves to dinner.

At that time, I was Mistral's fiancée and rightly named him one of the eight dragon kings who succeeded Mr. Zildo.

I was so nervous until I named you. The Dragon Nation people accepted me, but I wasn't really sure that a man with the honorable title Dragon King would accept me.

But even if you're hiding it, you can't help it.

And if you're going to name it, you have to be grand to look bad.

I raised my name to all the dragon kings, concealing my anxiety with confidence.

Then, thank you. Mistral explained to me first, and he accepted me very well.

"It's the same dragon king. Don't call me by my name. Instead, you can call them all out."

Looking tough and scary, Yakushion told me gently, and I stroked my chest down relieved.

"Oh, I'll admit it. Otherwise, Miss Mistral's horrible blunt weapon will fly."

"I don't resent taking Mistral. I'm just scared of blunt weapons. So you're welcome."

Young Heorona and Wall gave me some containing words. But with one look at the mistral, it shrinks lightly.

The villagers who have been burned down the village and killed their intimates and best friends are eating a meal with prickliness.

We were concerned about the villagers and we were all eating away, so a little light talk was acceptable.

I know I'm sad that the dragon tribe is dead, but I don't think things are going to make any progress, even if they're pulling their emotions and getting depressed by the tragedy of the villagers.

We must do what the grieving villagers cannot do. What we can do now to find the missing warriors and bring them back to the village safely.

After we introduced ourselves, we discussed a hand that we could hit after tomorrow.

We need to find the warriors who didn't even come back to the village riots.

"I don't think all the rest of the villagers are keeping their mouths shut. Then really, the warriors must have gone out to help the young man who was attacked by the demons."

To the words of Yakshion, Cestalinis gives his consent.

These two are bigger than any other dragon king, and they're intimidating. Whoever sees it, I guess I can see it without suspecting it's the Dragon King.

"But I see. Is it normal for all of us to go because the Demons attacked us? It would be stupid."

"Whether you're stupid or not, it's too early to move without thinking about it."

Wal nods against Heorona, who backs a long spear stabbed to the ground and says like other personnel while drinking.

Wal looks young, and Heorona does not look like dragon kings with mild words and deeds. But Heorona looks like a genius skin when it comes to combat, and you think Wal's older than he looks?

"We also need to search for warriors, but rebuilding villages is also a challenge"

"Right. We need to gather manpower from nearby villages and get ready as soon as possible for temporary housing."

Slaney looked worried about the survivors of the village eating away from us.

And Jura has the map in one hand and is thinking about making arrangements for a nearby village.

"Village security, requests for backup to nearby villages, searching for warriors. That and until backup comes, rebuilding the village. You don't have enough men."

To Mistral's words, the Dragon Kings sigh.

The women, children and the elderly in the village have been depressed and I don't think they can immediately move on to some action.

So me and Lyla, combined with the surviving village men, are completely understaffed. Still, the fact that we have to do it doesn't work, so we argued, "Oh, come on." Later in the evening, we discussed the division of roles.

And the next day.

Me and Mistral. And Lyla and Neemiah followed the villages that were raided by the devils.

We've been assigned to search for the missing village warriors.

Wall's opinion was dismissed that we, women and children, were better off with reconstruction work and security in the village.

Mistral is Princess Dragon, the strongest of those gathered. I'm strong enough to travel through Dragon Peak, and Lila's prowess has been demonstrated in earlier battles. And I can travel at high speeds, and I actually have the strongest Niemia.

So we became the most dangerous warrior search.

In an emergency, you can't tell me it's a human race or something. Do what people who can do.

Me and Lyla followed the decision honestly.

We cross the border wall of a broken village and walk towards the fountain where the warriors were headed.

The village is surrounded by woods, but they're turning west into meadows. And there was a fountain further ahead, and the young men of the village were hunting beasts who came to drink water around it?

"By the way, why did Mistral notice the anomaly in this village?"

I ask Mistral as I head to the western fountain.

Me and Lyla were brought in by tyrants to find out what was going on, but how did the Mistrals, who were supposed to have a rally, find out?

"Heh heh. You're being asked how you are."

Oh, yeah. I recall.

Even during the site survey training and other times, I was watched by Old Sleighsta following the dragon pulse.

That's not to say Old Sleighsta doesn't trust me, but it's close to what my spare grandfather keeps an eye on my grandson.

That's why I'm strange. [M] In other words, if you are suddenly taken away by tyrants or fought with demons west of Dragon Peak, you will soon become the known place of Old Sleighsta.

You respected my solo journey while traveling through Dragon Peak and didn't interfere, but this time you contacted Mistral right away.

Next time we go to Moss Square, we'll thank you properly.

"Master Sleighsta is amazing. I can't believe I can sense Master Ernea from afar."

As I explained, Lyla was impressed.

Lyla's been pretty cheerful since she left the village, or after the battle the day before.

There was nothing like leaving me and Mistral's side, but I've been working in a mood for a long time.

"Because I've never been needed or praised by anyone."

And he says it lightly, but what about that?

I wonder if it would be normal in a situation where no one has ever needed me in my life. I'm sure it won't.

Go shopping. Take this to your neighbor. Take the laundry in. Help me clean it. I know it's not too early to be asked for help, which is needed during big things like life shaping, but if it's a small thing, it's as much on a daily basis. And if you help, you're usually appreciated or praised each time, right?

And yet, never before, has that happened?

Lyla is usually a bright, healthy girl, but she occasionally shows darkness like this. I think this is the problem she has and the reason why she has let the Dragons and Dragons run down a path that challenges them to battle.

But Lyla didn't try to talk about the problems she had.

I'm gonna show you my absolute obedience for saving my life, but I'm never gonna say anything about the past. When something happens that somehow touches the past, Lyla becomes a dark, sinking expression as soon as possible, and her anger disappears from her eyes, right?

Neither I nor the others think I can force myself to pry into what I don't want to say or remember.

Everyone wants to keep it a secret.

But if we don't solve this problem, we can't be real people, or family.

I do distract myself from the problem there because I don't want to say it in person.

On the other hand, I don't think it's indifferent.

Yeah, Lyla's problem is hard.

It would be better if you could reveal it from her. I wonder if the day will come when we will be closer and we will be able to talk about everything casually or unmindfully together.

Walking alongside Mistral, I turned my thoughts around staring at Lyla moving forward a little cheerfully.

"I'm not too cautious when it comes to me and Ernea."

Mistral draws attention to Lyla, who walks like she's bouncing with Run, smiling bitterly as if she's in a little trouble.

There are no reckless demons or warcraft that dare to challenge me and Mistral's double-stranded dragon-hearted territory.

We were able to make our way west without any obstacles.

And in front of the meadows, we go into a break once.

Beyond the meadows is a fountain where the village youth and warriors supposedly headed.

If the villagers were attacked by demons, it would mean a dangerous place ahead, wouldn't it?

Once I take a break, I meditate to replenish the dragon air.

I'm meditating, and I think about Lyla again.

Over my head, Niemia has been on since this morning. If you had Priscia, you'd come and go with me and Priscia, but I'm not with Louiseine right now. So all the way over my head.

Niemia is the brightest of all of us. With immeasurable dragon power and signs, I feel absolutely present if I stay close, even if not above my head during meditation.

And the wooden knife of the spirit tree on my lap with Zazen put together is an indication of a presence that seems comparable to Niemia's. This sounds like a boulder is really a young tree in a spirit tree.

Mistral is beside me, taking a break standing. Full of strong dragon power, Rin's presence is conveyed. Sounds like a mistral sign.

But.

I couldn't feel any sign of Lyla, who should be resting on the side as well.

I also fight with amazing dragon temper during the battle, and until just now, I was walking cheerfully in front of you. Yet when I meditate and try to feel the signs, I can't feel them at all.

I wonder what she really is. If you think about it, you realize you haven't always been able to draw strength from the dragon pulse.

Looks like there was too much clutter.

I kept meditating while I was mindful.
