"Maybe it's time for the village."

Letty squeaks as the valley village approaches again.

"Yeah, you'll see the village when you cross that rock."

Rise answers that with a memory of what happened on the rock.

I told Letty about this gem because Letty wanted to accompany her to the village as part of the Knights.

"If there's a demon involved, I can't leave it as a knighthood, and I'm staying in this town to protect Rise. If you're not going to work, I'll come with you."

It was.

"Oh, I see it!

Kara on the tip of Kraken's food arm speaks up.

At the end of that gaze was the figure of a fantastic village surrounded by light of pale junctions.

"Welcome aboard, Master Rise."

Kara's mother, Tatomi, who came to pick her up, lowered her head deeply to Rise.

Tatomi is not the only one, all the inhabitants of the village who accompanied him to pick him up have bowed their heads to Rise.

"No, please don't, if you can keep your head down like that, you'll be in trouble."

Rise hastily tells Tatomi and the others to raise their heads.

"What are you saying? Do it. Lord Rise is the benefactor of the priest's life, and hence of this village."

Tatomi speaks to Rise in an incredibly polite tone from when she's talking to Kara.

"We are all very grateful to Lord Rise."

Keeping their heads down, the villagers say thank you.

"Okay, so please lift your head."

"I understand. Then Master Rise goes to this back. I apologize to the demon, but there is a priesthood, so please wait here."

"Can't the Lamias?

Hearing of the junction, Rise asks Tatomi a question.

Normal junctions are half-physical protections that prevent harmful beings from being allowed in for demons and other people.

But it is normal for a priest to create a spiritual kingdom that only whispers evil will.

Because I didn't think that the demons of Rise, who had no evil intentions, would be caught in the line.

"The junction of this village is a special junction of priests. The purpose is to keep the sealed demon out, and to stop the evil man from trying to unseal the demon, so that he cannot be allowed to enter even in the presence of no malice. Because there are many beasts that have no concept of good or evil like humans. They can't let demons in so they can't manipulate such demons and attack villages."

(That's the way it is. I don't really want to understand, but I do.)

Rise makes bitter thoughts lurk behind his chest to understand Tatomi's words.

Humans seem to be in their hearts regardless of their profession, rolling in good and evil.

But good or evil doesn't make a special impression on the profession.

For if there are righteous knights and clerics, few solidify themselves in power and deceive men in the face of righteousness.

Some merchants are good, others are bad. There were aspects of good and evil in roughly every profession.

But the story changes that this is a rare profession.

Because a small number of occupations have an impact on what they see when they are biased to be better or worse if they also have rare characteristics.

And the demon man again.

Originally there are many demons who attack humans.

In other words, those who have shown hostility to humans or exist in a different form than humans are counted as monsters.

Except for those who, like elves and dwarves, possess almost the same external characteristics as humans, in situations where demons are treated almost as demons, demons are perceived as serving horrible beings that attack humans.

And it goes without saying that if such demons dye their hands at evil deeds, they will have an evil impression on the profession of demons.

Because of the small number, all the bad impressions become noticeable.

For this reason, it can be seen that the junction that Mitik has stretched to protect the village has had the effect of averting demons by alerting evil demons to raids.

"Understood."

"I'm sorry. And I don't know how much it affects the subhuman, so I was wondering if it would be better for the subhuman to be out of touch with the world."

Tatomi apologetically comes to apologize.

"Don't worry about it. We'll wait here. Regards, Letty and Rise."

Lamia accepted with a smile, not hurt or angry, and asked Letty to do something later.

"Okay. In the village, I protect Rise."

Letty smiles and accepts Lamia's favor.

"Oh, what about you?

Tatomi asks when she realizes what Letty looks like.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Leticia-McMillan, a member of the Knights of the Kingdom of Tend."

Letty thanked Tatomi politely.

Though it was the armor that was not wrapped around it, its standing behavior was Rin and it deserved the name of a knight.

"Well, excuse me for this. I am Tatomi, assistant priest of this village."

Tatomi bows to Letty without panicking again. It must be her experience that makes her feel stable. It is precisely the merit of the year.

"Then come here, gentlemen. Look, you guys! Take your luggage!

"" "" Ha, YES!! ""

Tatomi calls me, and the young men come forward.

"Oh, I'll bring your luggage"

The men came to Kraken's feet to pick up the package, but Rise questioned the strange motion.

Because somehow one of the young men showed a glimpse as if he was trying to hide his face from Rise.

"Hmm?

Somehow concerned about the behavior, Rise tries to see the young man's face.

Then the young man turns away with it.

"Harpy."

"Yes!"

Harpy comes down directly from the top following Rise's call.

"How dare you, Master Rise!

"Wow!"

Suddenly a young man with a butt cake is surprised that people are shaking from the top.

That bounce reveals the face you were hiding.

"Oh, you are!?"

The young man rushes to cover his face with his hands, but it was already too late.

"Shit!

Rise rounded his eyes in surprise.

I couldn't hide my surprise that this person was here.

"You, Mr. Edill!

"Kuh!"

Rise was right, it was Edil-Low, the head of the Holy Knights, who raised his regretful voice with his buttocks on.
