What’s Wrong with a Great Hero Being Jobless

Episode 92: The Death of the Great Hero Xaragi

Honestly, it was a surprise there.

Yavin sliced my legs off with a knife and made me stand up and walk. My legs were paralyzed, my whole body ached, and I couldn't quite walk straight. Yavin stood right behind me, and as I cursed, with a good example voice,

"Hey."

Because,

"Walk tight."

Because,

"Can't you just walk on two legs? A dog or something."

So, though, I threatened him with a less emotional tone.

Somehow, I got the impression that Yavin was deliberately playing a poorly patterned pirate. That doesn't mean my treatment is done.

Well, he just didn't get busted on that spot like Nigel, which is probably better when it comes to the better.

It was surprising.

Yeah, this is gonna kill me, because I thought it would. That was the flow. I wasn't upset. I was pale. Probably because there was nothing I could do completely. I can't give a shit. There's nothing I can do. This is what happens. When I die, I don't know, maybe this is what it is.

It wasn't, but things haven't changed yet. I haven't been killed yet, but it seems unlikely they will soon.

Nevertheless, we can walk. Walk straight. Walk straight.

Eventually I was able to walk properly and went outside.

It was by the sea at dusk. There are many boats on the sandy beach surrounded by rocks. The pirate-like dirty looking men were doing something. Some pirates have done nothing. There were one, two... three pirates tied up like me.

As Yavin whistled cleverly, several pirates looked at us. Looks like Yavin sent some kind of signal and gave some instructions.

The pirates drag the three pirates they tied up.

"Ha, help me!

"Please!"

"Only life......!

The three of them are begging for their lives, but they don't seem to be heard.

The pirates kicked the three into the sea. The pirates kick three people tied to the back of their hands and unable to move as they think. When the three of them try to get up, they kick. Kick it and drive it deep into the ocean.

"They admitted their mistakes and made no excuses. So I'll let you die at sea. Mercy at least."

That's what Yavin muttered.

Will that mercy and mercy be brought to me too? I don't appreciate it. I'm not a pirate, and I don't have the slightest dust for wanting to live and die in the ocean.

"Go."

Yavin's voice made me walk.

Towards a wave strike.

Two of the three examples don't come up anymore. The pirates are stubbornly kicking one of the remaining ones with laughter. That sounds like fun. It's as if he's watering and playing.

... Now, do you have any hands?

I'm going to drown you. Soon enough. Any help to escape that fate?

Reminds me of the vivid arrangements Yavin made when he slashed Nigel. It was early work. Nice arm. If I try to take action, Yavin will flash the bay knife as soon as possible. Yavin's behind me, but he's getting the right distance. My attacks never arrive. Then Yavin can finish me off with a knife. That's the distance.

They're biting the rope and they can't talk, so they can't do anything with their mouths or even buy time.

I mean, it is.

I don't have a choice.

Am I realizing just how much I am scared of thinking about this mess?

A number of faces came to mind.

I struck out.

Don't you want to die?

I even asked myself that much.

Well, you know what? I don't want to die. I just die when I die. If he dies, he dies. It just ends. I don't know. I also feel that way.

Big hero Kisaragi, drowning here, huh?

Hi, I don't know.

but I guess that happens. Sometimes this happens if you're not stuck somewhere, managing to procure just food and water, and just devouring the raw to live. Where I was locked up, I could be pushed to death by a robber, or I could be stuck with a natural mutation.

If you live, you die.

You can't escape death.

Whether it's cool or not, death is death.

I'll be dead soon.

Well, okay.

Whether it's okay or not, I'm dead. Disappear. I don't think anything. I can't think of anything. I don't feel anything. There's no point in a world without me. I can't scream if I want to. Even if someone closes my eyelid, dead with their eyes open, I can't say a word of gratitude. A world without me. It's none of my business in any world there. All relationships are severed. I die. Disappear. Nothing. I fall to nothing. Nor will we meet those who have died before, and those who are about to die. There is no comfort. Nothing. None.

Is this death?

Is that all?

What is it?

I don't know.

"Nore."

And when I was told from behind, I didn't know what it was about.

When I dropped my eyes to the right, one boat was washed by a wave hitting about half the hull. So, I understand. Nole. Get in, huh?

I shrugged my shoulder and got in the boat.

As Yavin rode on with it, the two pirates pushed the boat. Once the boat had boarded the sea, both of them had boarded the boat and manipulated it.

"That's a lot of nerve."

said Yavin in a slightly chuckled voice.

"I don't think it's just a kid. Who are you?"

He's a big hero... and even if he wants to answer, he's biting the rope, and he can't. My mouth hurts. I kept quiet. Yavin didn't say anything either.

The boat proceeded. The sea was not rough. The gentle sea breeze is pleasant.

When the twilight sky was still almost completely twilight, I could see the ship. My eyes, accustomed to the darkness, clearly captured the white jaws and femurs painted on the sails of that ship.

It's that pirate ship.
