Zhou Chengchen took the wine from home purely because the bottle looked nice, but coincidentally, what she grabbed happened to be one of the most expensive ones currently in the Zhou family’s wine cabinet.

The fuse ignited, both retreated, fireworks streaked across the sky, then blossomed in the dark night.

Many who set off fireworks bring their own, but most buy from the vendors below. They all look quite similar, dazzling but no one’s is prettier than the others.

But Zhou Chengchen looked at her own fireworks, finding them more dazzling than those around.

Excited, she turned her head to see Xi Siyan looking up at the sky, his dark eyes reflecting the sky’s brilliance, appearing radiant and extraordinary.

In an instant, Zhou Chengchen stopped watching the fireworks.

Though the sky was filled with dazzling lights, they couldn’t compare to the sparkle in his eyes.

Suddenly, moved by some unknown impulse, Zhou Chengchen stood on tiptoe, gently pecked Xi Siyan’s cheek.

Her movement was swift, and she withdrew quickly. Startled, Xi Siyan turned his head, and as their eyes met, all surrounding noise seemed to vanish in an instant.

This moment was extremely quiet, and this moment was extremely happy.
