From G City to B City, it’s a three-hour flight. The three of them actually played Fight the Landlord for the whole three hours on the plane, so the time passed pretty quickly.

Zhou Chengchen and Zhou Qi hadn’t informed the Zhou Family, so naturally no one came to pick them up. Pulling his suitcase, An Rui said, "Someone’s here to pick me up. Want to come together?"

Last night the three of them had gone to visit their team at An Rui’s invitation, then they ate and sang together, messing around till very late. They’d planned to catch up on sleep on the plane, but ended up not sleeping at all.

Now Zhou Chengchen felt like her eyes could barely stay open, so she didn’t notice that fleeting discomfort on An Rui’s face when he said that.

Zhou Qi didn’t think much of it either and just waved his hand casually. "Whatever."

The three of them each pulled their suitcase and walked out. As soon as they stepped outside, they saw a silver-white Mercedes parked there. The car door opened and someone got out.

White shirt, black dress pants, not a single hair out of place. His skin was a bit fairer than most men’s, but his eyes were incomparably dark.

Under his straight nose, his thin lips were pressed into a tight line, his whole face showing not the slightest expression.

The eyes Zhou Chengchen had been about to close suddenly flew wide open. As for Zhou Qi, once he saw who it was, his gaze immediately swung toward An Rui.

An Rui rubbed his nose, feeling even more awkward. Zhou Qi’s look was as if he were some kind of traitor.

Zhou Qi’s face went dark as ink. He let go of his suitcase and lifted his foot, about to go over and give that person a beating, but Zhou Chengchen snapped back to her senses at once and reached out to grab him.

"Bro!"

Zhou Qi’s face looked as terrible as it could get; both his hands had already clenched into fists. Zhou Chengchen just smiled. "Bro, if you hurt your hands, how are you going to play in the match?"

By this time, the man over there had already walked over. Seeing the three of them, he still showed no expression. He just spoke in a flat tone: "You can’t stop here too long. Get in the car."

Zhou Qi’s gaze might as well have turned into a sharp blade, stabbing hard at the newcomer, but the man didn’t look at him at all. His eyes rested only on Zhou Chengchen.

The atmosphere was just absurdly weird.

An Rui tried to smooth things over beside them. "Come on, let’s go. You all know each other anyway."

Zhou Qi still wanted to say something, but Zhou Chengchen spoke again with a smile. "Thanks, sorry to trouble you."

Zhou Chengchen pulled Zhou Qi over to put their luggage in the trunk, then got into the back seat of the car.

Zhou Qi glared at her, full of resentment. Zhou Chengchen was still smiling. "Bro, I’m tired. I’m gonna sleep for a bit, don’t bother me."

Once she finished, she really did lean against Zhou Qi and close her eyes.

Everything Zhou Qi wanted to say was shoved back down by her one line: "Don’t bother me."

The AC was on in the car, and the temperature had been just right, but at that moment, it felt like it had frozen solid.

Zhou Chengchen closed her eyes and slept, Zhou Qi simmered with indignation but didn’t say a word, and An Rui in the front felt like he was sitting on pins and needles. Only the man in the driver’s seat seemed like nothing was wrong at all, like he really was just a driver.

The car first dropped Zhou Qi and Zhou Chengchen at the Zhou Family. As soon as they got out, taking their luggage, Zhou Qi pulled Zhou Chengchen and strode toward the Zhou Family Villa, not giving anyone a chance to speak.

An Rui watched this scene and let out a soft sigh. "I think I’m about to lose my mid laner again."

Xi Siyan’s gaze was still fixed on the spot where Zhou Chengchen’s figure had disappeared. After a long while, he finally drew it back without a trace, opened the door, and got in the car.

The Zhou Family wasn’t far from the An Family, and they arrived soon. Unbuckling his seatbelt, An Rui turned his head and asked, "Want to go in?"
