Chapter 1225: Love Letter
"Pfft..."
Someone nearby couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
In B City right now, the remnants of summer heat still linger, everyone is wearing just shirts and T-shirts, with jackets from their school uniforms.
If you were to take off your clothes, whether completely bare or with just the uniform jacket on, it would be quite inappropriate.
Zhang Hua felt a wave of frustration, not daring to provoke Zhou Chengchen, but he gave Liu Xiaoyu an angry glare before turning back to his seat.
Everyone was a senior striving for university entrance exams, so after watching the little commotion, they returned to their own business.
As Zhou Chengchen and Liu Xiaoyu returned to their seats, Liu Xiaoyu said to Zhou Chengchen, "Thank you."
"No worries, but Liu Xiaoyu, you can’t just let people bully you like that."
"It’s my fault to begin with."
"..."
Zhou Chengchen didn’t know what to say, as it was indeed Liu Xiaoyu’s mistake at first, only he encountered someone who wouldn’t let it go.
Zhou Chengchen opened his mouth but said nothing, pulling out a comprehensive test paper from his drawer to start working on it.
No, Zhou Chengchen didn’t think about the issue at all; all her focus was on studying. This had never happened before; only since talking with Xi Siyan about the "future," this state had become normal for her.
Soon it was Saturday. After the last class, as Zhou Chengchen was about to pack up and leave, she heard someone calling her, "Zhou Chengchen, the head teacher is looking for you."
Zhou Chengchen paused, got up, and went over, entering the homeroom teacher’s office to see her mother sitting there, with something on the teacher’s desk, both of them looking a bit serious.
Zhou Chengchen frowned as the homeroom teacher took the item from the desk: "Cheng Chen, explain this."
Zhou Chengchen then saw clearly it was a letter, or more accurately, a love letter.
A printed love letter beginning with "Dear Si Yan," and signed "Love, Cheng Chen."
It was no secret that Zhou Chengchen and Xi Siyan had a good relationship; it was unlikely the teachers were unaware, but breaking the paper-thin window or not breaking it were two separate matters.
And now, it was clearly broken.
Zhou Chengchen’s heart tightened, and she immediately said, "I didn’t write this."
Early romance is something strictly prohibited by schools, even though everyone knows it’s uncontrollable, schools still need to maintain their stance, and teachers will forbid it if they can.
Xi Siyan is an academic contender, and Zhou Chengchen is a key prospect. During this critical time in their senior year, such issues naturally become greatly magnified.
Coming out of the homeroom teacher’s office, Zhou Chengchen looked a bit upset. She hadn’t done this, but she had never thought about denying her relationship with Xi Siyan.
They hadn’t formally acknowledged their relationship, but for her to say, "I’m not dating Xi Siyan," was something Zhou Chengchen was unwilling to say under any circumstances.
Back in the classroom, Liu Xiaoyu noticed something was off about her expression and asked, "What’s wrong with you?"
Zhou Chengchen did not immediately respond but scanned the seats in the classroom before speaking, "When you helped me turn in my math homework this morning, did you give it directly to the class representative?"
Liu Xiaoyu didn’t know why Zhou Chengchen suddenly asked this and shook his head honestly, "No, I passed it along with mine."
After the incident with Chen Youran, Zhou Chengchen was very attentive, listening to Liu Xiaoyu’s words and then looking at the seating arrangement.
