Liu Xiaoyu shyly scratched his head. Actually, he’s much more confident and outgoing than before, but for some reason, when he sees Zhou Chengchen, he feels like he’s back in high school.

"So, uh, have a seat, have a seat."

The environment here really isn’t that great, but Zhou Chengchen doesn’t mind. Instead, Liu Xiaoyu spoke up first, "The lady boss’s cooking here is great. Although the place is a bit shabby, it’s clean and the food is delicious."

"Yeah, I can see that. Lots of people, after all."

Liu Xiaoyu handed the menu to Zhou Chengchen, "You order."

Zhou Chengchen pushed it back, "I’m easy, haven’t been here before, so I don’t know what’s good. You go ahead and order."

Liu Xiaoyu has grown quite a bit after all and didn’t stand on ceremony, decisively ordering a few dishes.

Watching the waiter walk away with the notepad, Zhou Chengchen laughed, "Not bad, you have good taste. You ordered all my favorites."

"That’s because..."

That’s because someone told me what you like to eat.

Halfway through his sentence, Liu Xiaoyu swallowed his words. Xi Siyan had told him he should explain things himself. While Liu Xiaoyu’s emotional intelligence might be low, his IQ isn’t. He doesn’t quite understand these things, but he trusts Xi Siyan and will follow his advice.

"Because... it’s a coincidence, haha."

Liu Xiaoyu scratched his hair, giving a dry laugh.

Zhou Chengchen was speechless, "Silly."

The food arrived quickly, and the two of them enjoyed their meal happily. Liu Xiaoyu wanted to bring up Xi Siyan numerous times but ended up holding back, only talking about things after the college entrance exams.

"So you didn’t study math but switched to computer science?"

Liu Xiaoyu blushed a little and nodded, "I was specially admitted for math, so I had to study it. I do like it, but once I actually got into the field, I realized it wasn’t quite right for me. My talent is limited, and besides, my parents thought I should study something with better job prospects, so I switched majors."

"And are you doing well now?"

"Yeah, pretty good."

"That’s good."

Zhou Chengchen nodded. Liu Xiaoyu wanted to say more; it’s impossible not to mention Xi Siyan in his college life. But he wasn’t sure if he should, as Xi Siyan had told him to just have a nice meal with her and not bring him up.

Liu Xiaoyu sighed and suddenly waved to a server, "Could we get a cold beer, please?"

"You want to drink?"

"Just a little drink."

"In that case, I’ll have some too."

Zhou Chengchen also ordered a bottle. Cold beer indeed matched the current atmosphere.

But what Zhou Chengchen didn’t expect was that while Liu Xiaoyu was all bold when ordering beer, he was actually a lightweight.

When a bottle of beer came, after just two glasses he was already looking a bit tipsy.

After finishing the third glass, he slumped over the table, muttering something incomprehensible.

"Hey... hey, hey."

No response.

Zhou Chengchen was speechless. Now what should she do?

Wait here until he sobers up?

Just thinking about it when Liu Xiaoyu suddenly twitched because his phone rang.

Drowsily, he picked it up and slurred a couple of sentences to the person on the other line, making Zhou Chengchen smile—despite being drunk, he still had enough awareness to convey his location and what he was doing.

Seeing Liu Xiaoyu hang up, Zhou Chengchen nudged him again, "Are you okay?"

"Zhou... Zhou Chengchen, I’m... I’m sorry to you."
