Chen Chong’s pupils constricted violently.

The information from the second Secret Card shocked him to the core once again.

Although he hadn’t known the specific level classifications for the Unihorn Catfish, Blood-tooth Python, and Stone Claw Eagle, he had already guessed their relative strengths.

While there were differences in their power, they were all within the same general tier, so the gap wasn’t enormous.

He didn’t know how powerful an S-Class Extraordinary Creature would be, but being an entire level above the other three creatures meant it was absolutely beyond what the current group of students could handle.

Xu Jun looked at the dazed Chen Chong with curiosity. "I feel like your reaction is even bigger than when you saw the first Secret Card. Does this one contain information even more shocking than our next destination?"

Seeing everyone’s confused expressions as they stared at him, Chen Chong took a deep breath and told them everything.

Sure enough, after hearing the news, everyone’s reaction was identical to Chen Chong’s—if not even more intense...

Zhang Meng spoke up. "Don’t dwell on it. We know a little about that plant-type Extraordinary Creature. Even though it’s the strongest one, the good thing is that it has always stayed deep in the jungle and hasn’t shown any desire to attack people."

These words helped to calm many of the others down a little.

But Xu Jun’s next sentence immediately sent everyone’s hearts, which had only just begun to calm, leaping into their throats.

"Do you think... the reason this plant-type Extraordinary Creature hasn’t shown itself is because it’s waiting to finish evolving?"

"What if, once it becomes a full-fledged S-Class Extraordinary Creature, it’ll finally show itself and do something even more insane than the Stone Claw Eagle and the Blood-tooth Python?"

Everyone froze.

Chen Chong also looked over in surprise. That reasoning... was highly plausible.

If it was really as Xu Jun suggested—that the fourth Extraordinary Creature wasn’t uninterested in humans, but merely lying dormant, waiting to make a big move after its evolution was complete—then they were in serious trouble.

But the biggest problem now was that, whether they wanted to hunt it or avoid it, they knew nothing about it.

They didn’t know what it looked like, or even what its abilities were.

The only thing they knew was that it was a plant-type Extraordinary Creature and that it was possibly in the same cave as the Stone Claw Eagle.

But if they went there rashly... Chen Chong could still clearly remember the intense, near-death feeling his primal instincts had warned him of back then.

Trying to kill it without knowing anything about its condition or weaknesses would be nearly impossible!

It had been difficult enough just to kill the weakest Unihorn Catfish, let alone the strongest Extraordinary Creature.

Unless it revealed itself and exposed more information, or they received some kind of intel, they couldn’t even formulate a targeted hunting plan, let alone kill it.

Chen Chong lamented to himself. ’I’m still too weak. I have to get stronger, and fast! Otherwise, I won’t even be able to survive in this beginner-level Primitive Jungle, let alone the intermediate, advanced, or even the potential Hell difficulties that might come later...’

"There’s no use thinking about it so much right now. If that thing really becomes an S-Class Extraordinary Creature, we won’t be able to stop it anyway. The fact that it’s quiet for now is a good thing. If it really starts making a move... we’ll deal with it then."
