Why don't you build a village on top of the world tree

Episode 46: Cloud No-Layer Clinic

In the middle of winter, people who came to buy winter and spring clothes were queuing up in clothing stores in the clouds.

"It's so busy."

The woman walking next to me, Mr. Lulan, said in a quiet way, glaring at the garment store as she narrowed her eyes.

A doctor who will work in a clinic that opens in the clouds. Mr. Calc's only introduction is definite in his arms, and he is also a flow doctor who worked around Yoinsley.

Her direct teacher is a famous person for making detailed graphs based on data such as age, gender, and weight about the effects of herbs and donating them to a fictional library in Yoinsley, apparently with a prominent group in the pharmaceutical field.

However, this gate often has trouble spreading research costs, and thus takes a way to get people to donate research costs instead of sending the best among the undergraduates. They don't have a lot of demand, though, because they can hardly even twist donations unless they're at the city level.

In the case of takakus, the donation comes together in the form of herbs rather than cash, as herbs are grown in a building that encloses a hydraulic elevator linking the fourth branch of the lower cloud and the second branch of the lower cloud. This is how I taught the mayor of the town of Cateo, who also grows herbs.

"I hear the same store is out in the neighboring city of Kattera, why are you queuing up so much?

Answer Mr. Lulan, who puts his neck in a strange way.

"I only keep my new work at the Tacax store."

Maybe to promote the Tacax store that just did. Plus, I don't know if I can sell it. I think he hated the smell of smoke in his new work and the value of the product drops.

The buzz in this clothing store should still be around for a while, as many customers are avoiding queues and finishing shopping and taking inns in the air market first.

Walking through the first branch of the Yunnan layer, I visited the clinic I had just completed the other day.

"This is also splendid"

Elegantly holding her mouth with one hand, Mr. Lulan looks up at the clinic gate.

The Japanese-style architecture stands alongside the Yunnakano layer, and this clinic is also Japanese-style architecture.

It is a building with two bungalows and a crossing corridor, surrounded by roofed wooden walls.

Close to Kyoto Townhouse watchmaking. It is the creation of a shop on the side of the road and a watchshop where the master lives before connecting in the crossing.

"This clinic is basically going to be used as a maternity hospital, so we have built a lot of hospital rooms. Diagnosis will be done in the building in front of you, and pregnant women will be asked to spend time in the hospital room in the back building. First, let me show you inside."

Take Mr. Lulan and knock over the gate.

Going around the gate, there is a front yard, and behind it is a street yard. Guests who come for a diagnosis enter the waiting room just to the right in this front yard, and those who come to visit pregnant women who are hospitalized are in the form of visits to the hospital room in the watchshop through the back street garden.

"I'll show you from the building to the right first"

Right up to the building to the right and let Mr. Lulan inside.

This is the waiting room, where the sofas are already lined up in a way that faces the reception.

"Even if you're accompanied, you're going to be able to sit up to four pairs, and you're loose."

Mr. Lulan looks around the spacious waiting room, stretches out his arms and enjoys the large space.

Given the low human birth rate in this world, it is large enough to think about it in light of the current Tacax population. There are also clinics in the lower cloud layers for Mr. Calc and the former village of Kidato, so they will be somewhat dispersed, and few will come to the examination.

Behind the waiting room is a check-up room.

"I have prepared the checkpoint, but was it okay to leave the other instruments to Mr. Lulan?

He's a doorman, so he doesn't know where to order. I have no idea the good or bad quality of each instrument.

Mr. Lulan shook his hand flickering with a gentle laugh.

"Don't worry about it. I ask my sister's apprentice to buy a good one for cheap."

I hear it's a pharmacology savvy gate, but do you have a good face for appliances? It's not an inseparable thing, maybe it's not weird.

"This office is the size of what we talked about beforehand. I think it would be okay if Lulan ordered the equipment, but Calc will come to the audit when it's ready, so please take care of it."

"Yes, I understand. Still, I didn't think you could get that Dr. Calc to speak up."

"Mr. Calc told me you were good."

"Oh well, really?

As we speak, we head to the back of the office, the pharmacy and dispensary.

Mr. Lulan laughs quietly at how he can't hide his joy.

"Dr. Calc was kind enough to be my mentor, and he did something like our lecturer when he fluttered."

"Were you?"

I heard that Mr. Calc was also a flow doctor, so he came fluttering and nodded.

Mr. Lulan looked up at the ceiling of the dispensing room as I recall.

"This is tough already, isn't it? Write such a thick dossier with the title of" Cases and Measures. "

Mr. Lulan smiles bitterly when he spreads his hands about the size of my grip.

"Bury them all within ten days, because they are deliberately described as insect eaters. Places that could not be filled will submit a report at a later date. I don't know what to say."

"Wow."

Spartan.

There are no problems in both the pharmacy and dispensary, so go back to the examination room and open the crossing door.

Connect the hallway so you can get to and from the inpatient building and the office.

On the right side of the crossing is a warehouse and courtyard. The stash will hold the kind of equipment.

"It's a small garden."

"The garden and warehouse here are things to prevent the hustle and bustle on the main street from reaching the hospital room. The garden you can see from the infirmary is bigger."

Enter the inpatient building at the end of the crossing.

The inpatient building is a Co shaped building with its back pointed at the examination room. It is a large building with ten hospital rooms and two delivery rooms, a bathroom, a hot water room and a straight room.

For the large portion of the building, the enclosed garden is also larger, with spaces where you can place potted plants planted with seasonal flowers and evergreen trees to create the space.

Mr. Lulan, who entered the hospital building, finds a handrail on the wall and narrows his eyes.

"It's embedded in the wall."

"Just in case you don't bump into it."

Pregnant women will come and go in the hallway, so it is mandatory to fold hands to prevent falls. Because stick-out handrails that can easily hit your stomach are dangerous, they are embedded in the walls.

Mr. Lulan looks at the handrail with interest, touching it and checking the temperature.

"What about this light?

Mr. Lulan expressed his doubts, pointing to the light overflowing from the bottom of the handrail.

The handrails that pass through the walls tend to be poorly visible, so they shine light from the bottom where the handrails are buried.

I slipped up the wall under the handrail. Point inside a thin wall lifted like a shutter and show it to Mr. Lulan.

"The handrail is illuminated with this strawberry cow. Takakus are easy to replenish."

"Is this Ichikowka? I hear you can control the color development."

"Yeah, unlike Takowka, it can be grown for specific colors. I'm putting the orange thing down this time, but you can pick it up right away, even in white."

There are no transport costs because Ichikouka is grown within the takakus, and the efficiency per unit area of agricultural land is out of step because it can produce the colours targeted. The price can also be low for that.

Both tachowca and ichikowca emit cold light, so the railings do not have heat.

"There is a delivery room at the end of the left and right corridors. In the meantime, let's look at it from the hospital room."

Guide Mr. Lulan to the hospital room.

It is shaped so that you can see the garden from every hospital room, and use it separately so that the closer you go to the end of the hallway, the closer you are to childbirth. There's a delivery room at both ends of the hallway, so it makes sense for people who are close to childbirth to live there.

"I kept the window position exactly as Mr. Lulan instructed."

"Sounds like it. Thank you."

In Mr. Lulan's hope, the window is about half the size that illuminates the hospital room. This seems to be a consideration to prevent direct sunlight from falling on pregnant women in bed.

"Will the curtains even be made at the clothes store earlier?

Mr. Lulan asks as he enjoys looking out the garden outside the window.

"I specialize in clothing, so I don't think I did. Hedgeway, it's quicker and surer to place an order in town."

"Well, let's do that"

"You don't have to order it, it's on the air market if it's ready-made."

Pointing out that I didn't have to take it back until I ordered it on purpose, Mr. Lulan looked back at me and laughed bitterly.

"Users of this hospital room are limited to women. You can't have no taste, and you have to focus."

Is that so?

I was careful when designing the furniture, but I was lost because Mr. Lulan would be in charge of the furniture.

"There is a merchant named Teguruth in the air market who has a grocery store, so you should talk to him."

Teguruth has a fairly wide handover, so it would help.

Get out of the hospital room and show the other rooms around.

"Mr. Lulan's house is behind this clinic, so the quarters will be used by nurses and others. It's a meal in the hospital, but I called someone from the city of Cuttera who qualified as a heat source manager, also in relation to handling fire for a long time in mass cooking, and had them migrate. We build facilities near this clinic, so they are transported at a set time each day. The menu should be decided by Mr. Lulan and submitted for ten days."

There was no fire in the clinic, so the function was completely separated. They also accept outings that are likely to be in high demand in the Yunnan level, where there is also a workshop in the garment store and a Demon Bug Hunter Guild.

"Use the water heating room here for everyday use, etc."

"Okay."

I'll take a look around the other room and give Mr. Lulan the keys after he checks them out.

"Well, thank you in the future"

"Yes. I'll do my best."

Laughing and relaxing, Mr. Lulan gets his hands in the bag as he remembers.

"Yes, yes. This is a sign of your closeness."

There was something like a root in the vial that Mr. Lulan was unfamiliar with coming out of his bag.

"What is it, this?

Herbal roots or something?

"Hehe, that's it"

And, Lulan, who made a meaningful laugh, gives me a piece of paper that seems to be writing a usage.

It's an energizer.

"Ha, jin -"

Energizer!?

Mr. Lulan will slap me on the shoulder.

"We look forward to using our hospital, please tell your wife"

Sexual harassment!
