Why don't you build a village on top of the world tree

Episode 49: The Last Day of the Music Festival

We were splitting up and running around the Takakus to realize the project that Mr. Raywan, the chairman of one of the seats in Rosas, had brought.

Sometimes the period of the music festival is half past, and now the project has been brought in, and time is pressing.

Moreover, the range used in the plan is all four branches of the Tacax's subcloud no-layer meter. Though only on the main street, there is a great deal to do to get an understanding of the residents of the adjacent private houses.

I creep through the doorway of the Warbug Hunter Guild in the middle of the cloud.

"Mr. Amane, what's the rush?

"Bad. I'll let you use the guest room. What about the guild chief?

He's on a field trip.

"Then get me a deputy guild chief."

I'll go up to the guest room while I ask the staff.

As he was spreading the map of the subcloud no layer to the desk where it was located, a former Gilica village chief, a deputy guild chief, came.

"It is unusual for Mr. Amane to have no prior contact. Did something go wrong?

"I'm going to wake you up. Sit there for a second and give me your opinion."

"Tell me what happened first."

"It's faster while I show you the map."

In front of the deputy guild chief, the former chief of the village of Gilica, I point to the map while giving an overview of the plan.

"I came here because I want to pack about the security of the day. In particular, traffic control around the Yaba Bridge and the Duet Bridge will be necessary"

"Good traffic control, but notice?

"Richay's ready now. The announcement will be posted as early as tomorrow. The planning people are still in the preparation stage, but they're all ready in parallel, so think the planning collapse won't be the first."

"Then the security change for the day is the default route. Some people have handcuffs, so let's make adjustments later. So you want to talk to the guild chief over here?

"Oh, do that. I'm planning on offering you a special allowance."

Explain the amount of allowances, and as a guard we will also pack up stories about where to put the Warbug Hunter and the scope of the holding.

Finished packing roughly where I could be stuffed pointing to the map, and I took a seat to keep the map and head to the next location.

Former Gilica village chief has spoken up.

"We also need security, but doctors should also be placed. What's going on around here?

"We're on our way. Mr. Calc is packing up a conversation with the other doctors, so I'll come back after I hear about it and confirm the placement. Keep the guards here at noon tomorrow. If there's a guild leader on the spot, it's quick and helpful."

Copy that.

The rest is entrusted to the former Village Chief of Gilica, and I leave the Devil Bug Hunter Guild to head to the second branch of the Yunnan layer.

I rode the hydraulic elevator almost barely through the residential area and went straight down to the fourth branch of the lower cloud.

Tourists and shoppers returned to the air market, which is also a specialty of the fourth branch. The booking for the outdoor store had only been slain before the event in anticipation of more guests at this music festival, and the sellers' voices can be heard gleaming.

There were no street performers around the air market who could not even be active due to this noise. Unless it's under the air corridor.

I enter the grocery store in the Aerial Corridor Shop section. It's a store run by Teguruth.

"There you are. Are you Mr. Amane? As an example, we've already talked about it."

"Teguruth is quick and helpful."

"It's a habit of the merchant age, or it's unsettling to put behind you what you can do today."

Teguruth comes out a piece of paper with a bitter smile.

It's a signed consent form from the merchants who have shops in the air market. Now we can restrict access to the air corridor to some extent on that day.

"But is it good? Would it be easier to get visitors into the air market and ease the crowd?

Teguruth asks me worried.

"Even if I were you, I'd like to let a stand-up visitor in, because it's against the idea of an air market to get in the way of shoppers. Besides, there is also an acceptable load problem. We'll take care not to dissatisfy the tourists by adjusting the patrol route on that day."

"If that's the case, it's fine."

Take the consent form from Teguruth and I'll put it in the paperwork bag I brought you.

"Which way are we going to go?

"I'm going to the old Kidato Village Public Hall and I'm going to talk to Mr. Calc and the others"

"Is it a medical relationship? Good luck."

"Oh. Speaking of which, how's the instrument selling?

"Life stops when you look at the books and you stop laughing at the inventory,"

"Musical instruments take time."

Quality is origami because it is made by specialist craftsmen, but it is not something that can easily be counted.

Let's be good, because I'm sure the visibility of the instrument workshop in Tacax has increased at this music festival.

I left the grocery store in Teguruth and headed to the former Chidato Village Public Hall.

On the last day of the music festival, the subcloud no layer was always busy.

While I was relieved that I was ready in time, I was neat on the office roof balcony with Richay, Melmie and Teten.

Richay's special blended herbal tea with a mysterious product called my handmade tea confectionery and smoked caramel made by Teten is made by Mermie.

"You managed to make it..."

Richay looks up at the sky and squeals.

The sky I looked up to is blue, and the weather is good enough for the clouds to flow slightly faster. Temperatures aren't high, and there's no sign of rain. Better than a good day decorating the last day of the music festival.

Visitors lined up on the street across the park adjacent to the office. It seems that the traffic is well organized by the guards seconded by the Warbug Hunter Guild, making the center of the street a deserted space.

The simple fence that separates the streets from the crowd was created almost entirely by the craftsmen of the Tacax under Melmie's ordinance.

It was a sudden request, but the fence that could have been done was a splendid one with sculpture as well, and was a good enough finish to add to the upcoming event.

Teten tests the smoked caramel against the light of day and puts it in the teat mouth.

"... sort of"

"Heh, I bet Teten would be delicious if she rated it as so-so"

Melmie, who was alert and unreached, picked one smoked caramel, and after a while of silence, tilted her neck.

"Yeah, sort of."

"... Amane, oh"

Teten offers a small plate with smoked caramel on it.

Well, I'll eat it.

I'll throw one in my mouth.

"... that tastes subtly so-so"

The scent of fragrant smoke is in harmony with the fragrance of caramel. It would be delicious if only for that matter, but the fact that the oil and sweetness from the raw cream is blurred by the smell of smoke is a negative assessment.

At least it's not something you eat while drinking herbal tea.

I lean my neck against my reaction. I eat smoked caramel and look in trouble, like Richay is afraid.

"Neither acceptable nor impossible. I can't make it into a tea treat, but I feel like serving it in a drinker would be different..."

"... of improvement, with room"

Teten deliberately eats another smoked caramel and makes a subtle face.

"... amane, taster"

"Stop studying things you don't want to eat"

Drinking Richay's blended herbal tea for a mouthfeel, a wave of sounds similar to the nostalgic tide approached from the direction of the second branch.

Looks like you're here.

Melmie takes out her binoculars and squeals.

Coming down a path sandwiched by spectators is one from Beauterrum.

Members who turn batons and ribbons in addition to the performer of the brass instrument leading the way come in rows.

This parade was planned by Mr. Raywan, a sitting chairman in Rosas, and brought to me by talking to participating organizations, including the Beauterrum Orchestra.

The art of Rosas One is not just music, but stage theatre and so on. It seems this parade is one of the many different ways to show it that we've been cultivating since a time on the journey.

The idea of an army has not developed much in this world, where external threats have only confronted threats that were demonic worms, unified and did not take strategic action that was an organization. Speaking of warlike organizations, it is a warworm hunter's guild, and a scattering tactic, guerrilla warfare, in which the bow was developed as the main uniform to deal with warworms as well as collective tactics.

I mean, I'm totally unfamiliar with something called an army-stained march.

The parade of performing and performing in such a disciplined march in the culture of this world is also not very familiar.

Ms. Raywan planned this parade in view of the sheer breadth of Rosace's artistic style and her treacherous strength, and attached her cooperation to the condition that she share her know-how with other participating organizations at the Music Festival.

Rosas, it's a reincarnation after considering the strengths of a single seat.

Nevertheless, other participating organizations based in Beauterrum also cooperated because only historic organizations knew about the existence of the parade and had little but no know-how.

"I knew it was amazing. The sound's stable."

Although there is some disturbance in the row, the performance of one of the beautellarms marching among the spectators is stable. I have a good understanding of how well trained I am to complete basic health, lung vitality, etc.

Since this parade is a determined event during the holding period, there is not enough practice period to include one Rosas. Even at night, the strength of the vegetables is present everywhere, because there is no way that a couple can sneak up and practice in the takakus where they are walking to see the Ichikouka fields of the third branch.

"With history, you have a thick crew."

"I guess the training is efficient"

It's the difference between the know-how we've built up.

The troupe that followed was moving well. The lead, of course, is passionate as the dancers out on the outer edge of the group move dynamically meshing with fast tempo music, getting to the beat of this one watching.

The spectators are excited. I hear voices so far across the park.

We relax and enjoy tea and sweets and enjoy a little far-sighted parade.

"Suddenly decided, but it's a great act to just accept to participate everywhere."

"This is the only number of organizations, and you're not wearing anything else."

Next to me, admired alongside Melmie, Richay explains to Teten about each organization's performances, and Teten takes notes. The fact that the notes are written in cipher means that the next novel will be a troupe.

Several organizations went too far, and one Rosas, the drafter of this project, came.

I brought in cheers, Rosas. I could see at first glance that one person possessed the skill of being isolated from other organizations.

A neat march. It's exactly the same till the time you get your legs up. The stride width is adjusted so as not to break the side line when turning down the street.

Now, in a straight line, we're going as fast as replacing the line.

I couldn't help but wonder why I couldn't disturb the performance after moving so hard. The tune is also a pretty upbeat song for the stuff on the north side.

"Maybe." A scattered flower storm. Though I feel more intense than the original song. "

Richay listens to the sound with clear ears and mouths the name of the song.

"It's a kind of passing song, where a seat or orchestra on a journey passes while playing in a village or town on their way to their destination. It's a technically difficult song, but it's rarely played because if you're half-working, you'll be ashamed of yourself without breathing."

"Rosas, you have to run in and build strength."

Convinced Melmie marches down the street looking at one Rosas seat.

Originally there was only one place on the journey, and Rosas had a different number of places than the urban growth band called Skyscrapers.

If this much performance can be shown, it would also be natural for other participating organisations to approve the parade subject to the sharing of know-how.

The audience is also boiling down to the flashy movements and performances of one Rosas. Cheers and applause echoed as one Rosas passed, and the music festival closed its curtain in exuberance.
