Murphy gently squeezed his daughter’s small hand, his tone laced with a hint of resignation. "You’re such a little rascal."

His gaze then shifted to the small, slightly flustered figure disappearing down the corridor. Deep within his calm eyes, a gentle, almost imperceptible smile rippled.

When Murphy had chosen to leave behind a bloodline and father Mo Ling and Mo Weiwei, he’d never had a single moment of hesitation or regret.

He knew better than anyone that as his Dao Body continued to transform, changing his physical structure and the very essence of his life, the probability of him having more children in the future would approach zero.

The births of Mo Ling and Mo Weiwei eight years ago were less a coincidence and more one of the last anchors to the mortal world he could grasp before his life form underwent a complete transition.

Their very existence was a continuation of the part of him that was once "human," a legacy left in this world.

"Let’s go," Murphy said, taking the still-giggling Mo Ling by the hand. He walked forward with a steady gait, catching up to the small figure who was already peeking back from around a corner, her cheeks still flushed.

...

After a few turns, a heavy, gray-white metal door appeared at the end of the corridor.

The door’s surface was smooth, its edges fitting seamlessly into the rock wall. In the upper-middle section, there was a single dark crystal panel the size of a palm.

Mo Weiwei, who had run ahead, had already stopped. She was trying to calm her breathing, attempting to regain her "royal" composure.

Then, she reached out and lightly tapped her fingertip on the crystal panel. The panel shimmered with a ripple of light, and a moment later, the door emitted a low hum and slid silently inward.

Behind the door was a massive space, over twenty meters high and more than a hundred meters in diameter.

The core of the entire space was a cylindrical behemoth, ten meters in diameter, standing in the center.

Orbiting this massive central cylinder like satellites were dozens of auxiliary cabinets of various sizes. They were connected to the main unit by thick fiber-optic cables, forming a complex and precise system.

The low hum of the internal coolant circulation, like the breathing of a slumbering beast, echoed throughout the vast chamber.

This was the "Mind Furnace," the most powerful computational core on the entire Continent.

A scholar with deep auburn hair stood before a console in front of the central cylinder, seemingly operating something.

The display screen above the main unit was constantly changing with his actions.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, the scholar immediately turned around.

Upon seeing Murphy’s party enter, the scholar, who appeared to be in his late twenties, quickly straightened his robes. He hurried forward a few steps, stopping about five paces from Murphy, then placed his right hand over his chest and bowed deeply.

"Good day, Your Holiness the Sword of Divinity. Good day, Your Highness Ailivier. Good day, Miss Mo Ling. Welcome to the core chamber of the Mind Furnace."

Murphy looked at the scholar, who wore a simple, dark blue academic robe and a pair of delicate, gold-rimmed glasses, and asked, "Edwin, what’s the status of the ’Universal Cognitive Model for Cross-School Knowledge Barriers’ I asked you to prepare? How’s the iteration coming along?"

This was Edwin Drake, hailing from the Eternal Permafrost, north of the Rosenia Kingdom, and a member of the Wizard Organization known as the "Eye of the Profound."

After the "October Revolution," Murphy had personally traveled across the Continent, seeking out scholars and Wizards with genuine talent and open minds. Edwin was one of them.

He was already an Official Wizard of considerable power, on the very cusp of reaching the threshold of Elementalization. But after encountering the completely different system of knowledge Murphy introduced, he had resolutely dedicated himself to the design and construction of the Mind Furnace, becoming one of the most brilliant members of the core team.

Hearing Murphy’s question, Edwin straightened up, his expression immediately turning serious. "Your Holiness, the model has been updated to the seventh generation. Based on detailed brainwave, Mental Force Field, and cognitive test data collected from over four hundred Wizards of different schools over the past decade, the seventh-generation model’s accuracy in simulating ’thought structure ossification’ and ’cognitive path dependence’ has increased by approximately fifteen percent compared to the sixth generation, achieving a goodness of fit of 87.3 percent."

He paused, a complex look flashing in his eyes behind his glasses. "However, Your Holiness, regarding the core problem—simulating and finding a universal path to ’bypass’ or ’break’ this cognitive barrier... there has still been no breakthrough. All tentative solutions projected by the seventh-generation model ultimately lead to logical collapse."

Murphy’s gaze fell calmly on the massive, silently running cabinets. "So you’re saying there’s still no way to solve the ’Knowledge Barrier’ between opposing schools of thought?"

Edwin nodded. "That’s correct, Your Holiness. At least within the current theoretical framework and the computational limits of the Mind Furnace, we have simulated over one hundred twenty-seven thousand possible intervention protocols, from gradual cognitive restructuring to extreme psychic assaults..."

"The model’s projections show, without exception, that once an individual deeply masters the Magic System of a particular school, their thought structure undergoes an irreversible ’deflection’ and ’ossification.’ This isn’t just on a conscious level, but extends deeper, into the material manifestation of their soul’s wavelength and Spirit Origin, synchronizing with the core principles of that school."

"This ossification creates an acquired ’logical blind spot’ or ’cognitive shield,’ causing their minds to naturally reject, or even be incapable of comprehending, another system of knowledge whose fundamental principles contradict their own."
