Chapter 1, Episode 10 [Fugitive] Part 2

"Yes!

The general of the searing pavilion placed two large jocks on Liangzhen's table.

A bubbling amber liquid poured side by side spreads a black stain on the table.

"... I didn't ask you?

Ryo Jin alternated between a jock and a damsel.

"It's the luxury of the store! Drink it for me!

With that said, the general sits on the chair at the table.

"You're a face I don't see, but you're a traveler?

I've spoken casually to Ryo Trun with a crowded round face.

"Are you free?

Ryo Jin asked the damsel, who had calmed down somewhat.

"Take a look around? You're the only visitor."

Looking around according to the words of the general, at some point the only guests were Ryo Trun.

When Liang Zhen entered the store, he still had a few guests, but apparently he left.

"Time too. By the way, we finish lunch at 3: 00. I can't close the store because you're here at 2: 58."

When she said that, the general gave a good momentum to the jock she had left before her.

"The guys in the kitchen let him in for a break first, but he's got some cleanup left. Though, I can't help but stand alone until you're done eating. Ma ~ Tell me who to talk to about your aunt. This guy's on his rent."

That said, the general pushed the jock out in front of Ryo Trun.

"Really? Excuse me. Let me take your time."

"I don't care. I don't care. So, are you a traveler?

The lady general's tone is pleasant and personable. I can see you like to talk.

(Because of that. Do you want me to tell you a lot)

Liang Zhen decided to talk to him after he had thought about it. Because all he needed was information.

"Yeah. That's right. This is my first time here..."

"Heh ~ Is this your first time in the Imperial City of Ortomere? Alone?

"No. I was with my father... My father died of illness the other day..."

When I said that, Ryo Jin lay down his face.

I suppose the general thought she heard something unpleasant. I said in a hurry.

"Ahhh. That sounds bad..."

Ryo Jin looked up and smiled, lying down.

"No, I can't help it if I'm sick."

"Well... were you sick... what are you going to do now? Are you going home?

"I'm thinking about living in the Imperial City. I've lived a long journey with my father, so I want to calm down around here."

(Sa ~ Here's the real deal. We have to talk with care not to be suspicious.)

Liangzhen waited jizzily for a cut to get out the information he asked for. Because I understood that if I were here, the general would be suspicious.

The general totally believed Liang Zhen's story. Because Liang Zhen's story was originally likely to be about how to "go" after people are good and don't doubt others.

"Right. So, what are you gonna do, live and go?

(Kiri!)

Ryo Jin was delighted that the topic awaited had arrived.

Anyway, you have to work to live. But for Liang Zhen of the other world, I didn't know what kind of profession I could get in this world.

Moreover, because it is information close to general common sense, if you ask poorly, you will be suspicious.

He was exposed to his face, so he threatened to reveal his true face to the Empire if he did poorly.

"That's... to be honest, whatever you can do to help my father do his job... to the extent that you can use your sword in the crowd at best..."

"Right. Ma ~ At your age ~ It would be hard to be an artisan or merchant ~"

One of the general nods as she looks at Liang Zhen's face.

"Can't a merchant, too?

"I can't, but I think it's tough, right? It's a job that needs to be planted since I was a kid."

"Really... oh my god"

Liang Zhen pretends to be sorry.

"You. You said you could use a sword, didn't you? Then you're a mercenary or an adventurer without difficulty ~"

"I knew it...... just how can I make that one?

"What? Don't you know??

"Yep. Not really. Can you tell me... if you know?

Liang Zhen's polite tone relaxes his opponent's guard and makes him feel like he's going to help or teach him.

If only the most courteous had been observed, the general would have taught me politely no matter who asked.

"I don't know much about it. We've got adventurers and mercenaries coming over for drinks.

"Please."

Liang Zhen bowed her head when she said so.

"That's not a big deal. Just go to the guild and register your solid information and you're done."

"Is that it? I thought I heard you said you needed a background check or something...?

This is where Ryo Jin was concerned.

Liang Zhen, a different world person, has no family registry or identity guarantor in this world. If you need to be around here, I honestly don't have a hitter.

It's a straight line from the robbery street.

But the general's reply was light.

"You don't need an ID guarantor to be an adventurer. What you need is a craftsman, a merchant, and then you become a soldier.

Hey, if you go to the guild on your own, you'll be able to register me over there. "

Bright true full smile.

I think I can get a job for now.

"Is it true! No. It's good to hear from the general. When I asked you before, I remember hearing that you needed ID! That was a mistake."

Ryo Jin gave a good boost to the big jock ale.

"I must have mistaken it for talking about when you were going to be a merchant or something. By the way, if the guild leaves the store and takes the alley to the left towards the main street, we'll find him soon."

"Thank you! Madam General, I'm going to try to get there as soon as possible."

"Really? Then I have a report. Come and have dinner."

"Yes! So long ~ bill me"

"Aye! It's 25 baht a lunch."

So Liang Zhen solidified. It's not like I don't have any money. The problem is something else...

(Shit. I don't know the monetary value......)

When I bought the clothes earlier, I managed to cut through the operation of keeping each bag, but due to the flow of the conversation, I can't use the moves here.

I had no choice, so Ryo Jin took out one gold coin that I thought was the most valuable and put it on the table.

"Hey... hey there. I don't care if they give me 10,000 baht in a store like this..."

When she saw the gold coin placed on the table, the general said to her face in disdain.

"If it's 100 baht silver, you can give it to me. Don't you have it?

(Yay. Now we know the monetary value)

1 gold coin = 10,000 baht

1 silver coin = 100 baht

(What is a copper coin = 1 baht?

"Sorrow...... sorry. Wait a minute, please."

I pretended to panic and took another bag out of my nostalgia.

"I wonder if it was over here...... oh! It seems possible. 25 copper coins, right?

"That's right. It's 25 baht."

"Ah! There it is... sorry. The fine currency was divided over here."

With that being said, place 25 copper coins on the table.

"Yes, that's just it! Every time."

When she stuck a bronze coin in her front pocket, the general asked Ryo.

"You don't have a card? We can use it. Next time, use your card."

(Cards? You mean credit cards?

I can't say I don't know, Ryo Jin went along with the story of the general.

"No - you're actually having trouble losing it... I have some in cash, so I don't have any trouble with my seat..."

"Oh. Really? Ma ~ The deposit is safe but inconvenient because it can only be used by subscribers. Why don't you reissue it? There's the guild and the bank, right?

(I knew it was a bank. You mean, there's a bank? to this world......)

Liang Zhen asked the general because of it.

"Didn't you go back and need ID?

"I don't need it. Just apply at the bank, just like you did when you made it, and I'll get back to you with some personal information."

"Wow. Did you! I didn't know that ~. Thanks!

That said Liang Zhen bowed his head to the general.

"I don't care. I don't care! Come eat again."

She was dropped off by the general, and Ryo Jin walked out of the store towards the main street.

(Bank first!

As I asked the general of the searing pavilion, I turned down the alley and exited onto the boulevard, a sign stacked with currency on my left hand side and a painted sign of a soldier in armor caught my eye.

(That's an easy-to-understand sign... what is a painting)

With that in mind, Liang Zhen went inside the bank.

Carrying seven bags full of currency is quite heavy, to be honest.

Especially in situations where there is a chaser, I want to be a little lighter.

That's why Ryo Jin went to the bank before heading to the Adventurer's Guild.

"Welcome. What can I do for you today?

A bright, middle-aged man creeping through the bank entrance and into the lobby called out.

It's a response like a Japanese bank.

Blouse with lace on top and bottom black suit. I tie a red loop tie around my neck.

(Suit? Why are you wearing a suit?

Ryo Jin really didn't know this world well.

I wonder if it is medieval european, some places are somewhat modern. That's exactly what suits, cards, etc.

(Totally different from what looks like yakuza... that's a good target...)

"Um?... Customer?

The man felt Liang Zhen's gaze and listened slightly wandering.

"Oh, excuse me. I've never seen anything like this before... I'd like to ask you to open an account."

The man nodded loudly, leading Ryo Jin.

"This will be our reception. Customers"

"Thank you"

"I'm a customer who opens an account. Later, please."

Yes, he left the receptionist and the man left.

"Welcome. You're opening an account, right?

Red ribbon with blue jacket. A woman in a uniform sat at the counter.

She's a very normal receptionist.

It doesn't deserve surprise... if this place isn't even in another world.

"Yes, it's my first time. I don't know, thank you."

Ryo, I can honestly ask you something you don't know about the real good.

It's much safer than knowing each other badly.

"Yes, I did. I'm afraid your name is required."

With that said, she offered parchment and a pen.

(Why parchment?

Ryo Jin pushes and kills the rising question and receives the pen and parchment.

Your name = Ryoujin Misaki

Age = 16

The only fields filled in are name and age, after which there is no address field or anything.

After filling in his name and age without particular awareness and returning him to the woman at the reception, Liang Zhen realized there was.

(Is that it? Letters were... Japanese, right? Are the letters common?

But the lady at the reception does the work with no concern at all.

At least, they speak Japanese.

"Your name is Ryo Ozai. Age is 1...... 6 years old. Is there a mistake in filling it out?

The receptionist's gaze stabs Bright True in the face. I guess Liang Zhen didn't look 16 to her.

She looked up at Bright True face suspiciously.

"Yeah. Don't you see?

Mostly, I'm not even angry because I know I'd be surprised if I told them my age.

(I'm an old face anyway...)

"Or if you're 16, you can't make an account?

She shakes her head at Liang Zhen's inquiry.

"No. Nothing wrong with age. Well... the customer is so calm, I was surprised to see his age. I'm very sorry for your loss.

"Oh. It's fine. Because I'm used to it. Then please open an account."

"Yes, I did. Please wait while we create your card"

Having said that, she started filling out paper the size of a business card.

The paper is then sandwiched with a transparent plate.

(Laminated??

It's a world where you don't know if you have a high or low level of culture.

"Here you go. Now put your hands on this sphere."

The card was placed in an open inlet on a glass sphere pedestal and pressed towards Ryo Tru.

"Here's the thing?

When Liang Zhen puts his hand on the glass sphere, the sphere blinks out.

"Yes. Fine. This card now has your child's solid information registered. When you lose your card in the future, please come out to the nearest bank and we will make it again."

That said, she offered the card bright and true.

"Already. Are you done?

"Yes, that's it for opening an account. What else can I do for you?

"Bye. I'd like to make a deposit in this account."

"That's a deposit. Thank you. Now please include your currency and account card here."

That said, she placed a coin tray on the counter.

Liangzhen pulls out 10 gold coins and 20 silver coins and 50 copper coins from a bag containing currency, and places all the rest on a plate.

"Yes, we will check the amount now. Please wait."

That said, she puts all the money out of the bag and stacks it 10 pieces at a time.

(Is it manual to confirm the amount...)

They don't have a machine that automatically checks the amount, even though the card exists.

Leaving room for Liang Zhen's mourning. She continued to make a pile of money.

They would have waited 20 minutes.

After three amount confirmations, she said.

"Thank you very much for your patience. 23 gold coins 58 silver coins 731 copper coins so a total of 236531 baht will be deposited. Is there any mistake in the amount?

(25 baht for lunch at the searing pavilion, right? That's a pretty good forehead for now)

I don't think I'll have to worry about my meal bill or my inn bill for a while.

"Yep. Please"

"Yes, I did. Then 236531 baht. I will certainly keep it for you."

So she laid her card on the counter and bowed her head brightly.

I have the cost of living, but it doesn't change that I have to work to live.

Liang Zhen left the bank and went into the next guild.

Beyond the door there are several counters, with the receptionist sitting.

Ryo Jan sat down on one of the empty counters.

"Welcome. What can I do for you today?

The receptionist will take care of it.

"I'd like to ask you to register your adventurer and introduce me to your job"

"Yes, I did. I'm afraid, do you have an account with the bank?

"Is this good?

Ryo Jin gives out the card he just made.

"Yes. Fine. Recently, we've been paying a reward with a card, and new registrants are asked to create an account in advance."

"Heh ~. Really? Especially since you asked me what I didn't have to prepare."

"Yeah. Some of you don't have quite enough. When you do, you come after you've created it."

Saying so, she put the card in an open inlet in the glass sphere table.

"Yes. Registration is now closed. Michael-san."

"Huh?"

"You can share your bank card information and your guild registration information. So if you have a bank card, you just have to let me load the information for the guild."

Saying so, she began to look into something by taking out a bunch of paper.

"Yeah, we can get a request together, right?"

"Yes."

Ryo Jin nods.

"Do you know what the Alliance's system is?

Ryo Jin shook his head.

"Bye ~ I'll explain. Ask questions if you don't know."

That said, she put a piece of paper out in front of Ryo True.

"The immediate initial state for you to sign up for the guild is LV1. Alliance rank will be Single I, Bottom Level. The rank will be listed on the surface of the card. Please take care of your ID as an adventurer."

She pointed to the single I "Eye" column written at the bottom of the paper.

"Simply put, LV made the combat experience easier to understand how successful the Alliance Rank was in taking the Request Quest in the Alliance. Incidentally, combat experience depends on how much other organisms have taken in the power. Do you know anything about absorption of power?

"Yeah. You mean some of their powers become their own when they kill other creatures, right?

"Exactly. Simple calculations say it's LV1, and it has the average human power, and LV10 makes it ten times more powerful than that. It doesn't really matter when it comes to adventure, but if you make mercenaries your main job, this value increases or decreases the base reward.

"I see. Does LV10 mean you get paid for 10 people?

"Ma ~ That's basically what I'm talking about. Next is the Alliance Rank, which will be ranked up by earning the Achievement Value" Clear Points "determined for each successful request after receiving the Request" Quest ". If you rank higher, you can get that much better rewarding request Quest. The job you can undertake is the same as your rank or less."

Ryo Zhen was caught by the precautions written on the paper.

"What is this caveat?

"Yes. I don't care how many Request Quests I undertake at a time, but Request Quests has a due date. If this due date is exceeded, compensation will be incurred and the achievement value" Clear Points "will be lowered."

"Does that mean sometimes the rank goes down?

"Exactly. Rank goes up every time you accumulate 100 Completion Points. In your case, Double I" Eye " Triple I" Eye " Single H" Eich "goes up in that order. If you fail the Request Quest and cut 100 after you save 100 Clear Points and double, you will fall to Single I. However…"

Her finger now points to the disclaimer column.

"If there are any discrepancies or deficiencies in the terms and contents of the Request Quest, no compensation will be awarded even if the Contractor fails to accomplish its Request Quest. Depending on the item, you can also request compensation from the client. If so, please contact your guild and we'll take care of it."

(Sounds like a secondment job...)

"That concludes the brief explanation for now. Do you have any questions?

"No."

Ryo Jin shook his head.

"Now you choose your first job as a chai ~"

She again took a bunch of paperwork out of the drawer and put it out in front of Ryo Trun.

At the top of the paper was listed as the Single I "Eye" rank, under which countless jobs were registered.

"Uh. What kind of request would you like to go on, Quest? Adventurer or mercenary?

"Honestly either..."

(Sounds like you're really going to have an interview or something...)

Liang Zhen remembered an interview for the recommendation he received during his high school exam.

Maybe it's the same thing in terms of being able to visit my future design.

"Uh-huh. I was wondering if mercenary work would be nice if you were confident in combat technology."

Having said that, she put red circles on several columns.

"It's your main job to fight now that you've put a circle on it ~. You're a wild dog Wild Doc crusade or a wild bee Wild Bee crusade. There is no particular period, and the number of crusades by the end report x 3 copper coins, right? The achievement value, Clear Point, is 1 x Crusade."

Ryo Jin asked me what I was thinking.

It's like going to another town. Like escorting someone to their destination or carrying things.

"Do you have a job like going to another town?

"Is it a delivery system? The escort system must be I" I "rank ~"

She shakes her head to the side unfortunately.

"The escort system is directly related to the client's life, so only people who are certified to possess a certain level of competence can receive it. That's more than c-rank when it comes to rank."

"So what kind of delivery system is he, and if he can, can he leave the country?

"Uh-huh... I can't deliver long distances at the" Eye "rank. I can only take about a delivery to the next town at best."

Unlike games, there seem to be various limitations.

I saw a map pasted on the wall behind her in Ryo True's eyes.

"By the way, do you have a request to go ahead if you look in the next town?

"Taven, I think you do, don't you? If it's a delivery system"

"Um, I'm sorry, can I borrow a map?

The receptionist looked surprised, but gave me a folded map out of the drawer and spread it over the counter.

"Uh-huh. What part of Altomere is that?

"This is the capital of the Empire, Ortomere."

Her fingers point to a large point around the central and southern boundary on the map. It is listed in thick, black letters as Imperial Altomere.

Besides, if you look closely, the thick, red line surrounds the centre and parts of the west.

Perhaps this red bold line reveals the territory of the Altomere Empire. Pretty wide.

(Galeek. Melferen. Gildas. Oeet...... out of these four if I were to head there...... right)

Bright True Eyes were sucked into four towns. They are all towns that exist in the vicinity of the Imperial capital.

"Do you have a delivery job to go to Melferen?

To Liang Zhen's enquiry, the receptionist ran his eyes on a bunch of documents.

"Wait a minute...... uh-huh. This isn't ranked enough... and this one's got a contractor in mind... uhhhh! You do! It's a letter delivery. The reward is 30 copper coins. The achievement value" Clear Points "will be 5."

I guess there's not enough work that Liang Zhen, the newcomer, can undertake. Well, I specified the destination town. It was not always convenient for the job to set in, and it was thought that if a person had already decided to undertake the work.

But Ryo Jin must have been lucky.

The receptionist, who searched every corner for a bunch of paperwork, smiled all over her and turned her gaze to Ryo Trun.

"Please do that"

Liang Zhen immediately accepts the request "Quest".

In these cases, what you mean is decisiveness. I didn't have time to get lost.

"Yes. Then when you take this"

She writes something on the glass plate connected to the table where the glass sphere is placed. Then the glass sphere blinked.

"Yes. End of story. Achievement deadline is within 3 days. This concludes at the stage where you have delivered your letter to the Guild of Melferen. Do you want anything else? Do you want to take Quest?

"Well, I beg you to take it all at the request of the crusading system just now"

"Yes. So it's the Wild Dog Wild Dock crusade and the Wild Bee Wild Bee crusade, plus the Wild Rabbit crusade. This one has no deadline, so please report it to the Alliance at some point"

"Okay."

"Oh yeah. I'm late, but if you don't have a specific designation to report the Request, you can do it in any guild. Well, good luck with that."

The receptionist lowered her head when she smiled full face and encouraged Ryo Trun.

"Yes, thank you"

Gently bow your head and Liang Zhen leaves the guild behind.

Liang Zhen received the request "Quest" for a reason.

He is being chased from the Empire. I want to leave the country as soon as possible.

But there's a problem.

Given the fact that the chaser is hanging, there is a danger to the movement of the town. That's why I wanted a reason.

There's a reason to walk down the street.

On the other hand, the job of delivering letters is an excellent cover.

And I chose Quest to head east to Melferen for a reason.

According to the map we saw in the Alliance, the Empire was in the southeastern part of the territory. In other words, the north and west will take quite a few days from the imperial capital to the border.

The closest thing to the Empire is the southern border, but if the chaser's commander was a Killer, there is a foreseeable danger.

We thought about it and decided it was safest to go for the eastern border.

Of course I don't know if this decision is correct unless I go and see it...
