Yomigaeri no Maou

Lesson 14 Conditions and Outlook

"Ma, demon king......!?

Humans, they can't spin words well when surprises reach their peak.

Lulu went on to say to Yumis, who was expressing in his face the likelihood that he would not have a voice to say anything about it.

"That's the story I'm not trying to prove. It's all about my self-declaration. So believe it or not. The important thing is that me and Illis were ancient demons, so it doesn't make any sense to talk about me being the demon king..."

But Yumis' view seemed different,

"What are you talking about! This isn't important! Demon King...... is Lulu really, Demon King? Iris......"

and so on and takes confirmation with Iris.

Since Iris speaks of Lulu's former glory in some dreamy way in Iris, Yumis seems to have completely believed it.

Then I started asking Iris all sorts of questions about the ancient demons, so Gran sighed at how it was.

"... well, if you do, you can't get your hands on Yumis. Let's just let it go...... hey Lulu. I'm surprised to hear that you were once the Demon King... but why did you talk like that? The same goes for the ancient demons. What the hell's the point of telling us that?

In Yumis and Gran, one way or another, Yumis took on a more intelligent part, feeling like Gran was in charge of the arm's strength part, but the feeling seemed a little wrong.

Grand's question was a very sober one, and Lulu thought it was a very sharp one.

There may be no doubt that Yumis is the one with a lot of knowledge, but perhaps it is rather Gran who is well guided and in control of the direction the party is going.

Gran was so far away, he didn't even have a moment to be so fierce.

Always constant, he was the type of warrior who wouldn't stop thinking even in battle.

Given that Yumis was more of a mood guy, I guess these two are meshing pretty well, as a combination.

Lulu was not worried about how to answer.

This was because I didn't need to hide it, and also because I wanted to have a good relationship with the Grans in the future.

A skilled adventurer who travels around the world and sees a lot of things with his own eyes, is a difficult thing to obtain in every sense for Lulu today, and furthermore, if he says that there is something trustworthy about his personality, it is a matter of the utmost course that he does not want to break up a relationship.

So Lulu answered Gran honestly.

"It's not that hard... I wanted to reveal myself and get along with the Grans. I... am certainly a rebirth of the Ancient Demon Nation, the Demon King, and I have a spirit that is not the same as my age, but my social position is that I am a seven-year-old child, and there is not so much I can do. I think it's gotten pretty good because I've been practicing magic since I was born, but still, it's not good enough. Even my parents raised me to this point, and I've lived with them. I also have an attachment. I don't even hate villages. I rather like it... because such a long idle landscape ended up not following me in my previous life. In a way, the status quo is almost equal to the realisation of my dreams back then. So... I can't leave the village right away or anything like that."

That's all he said, and he guessed Gran, too.

He shattered Lulu's words, and thought a little before Gran uttered his speculation.

"I mean... you want a point of contact for contact with the outside world? You want that from us?

That was an accurate guess.

That's exactly what Lulu expected from the Grans.

But I'm not looking for something as cold as a light night as Gran is.

"The point of contact, I mean... this is how I would like to come to the village once in a while and talk about things outside the village. We explore the ruins together, and we know who they are. Most importantly, you are armed adventurers. The same goes for the cities, but they're going to other countries, right? I'm not getting out of the village yet. But I want to know about the world. I want to explore places near the village, like those ruins... so I need information for that."

Listen to Lulu, Gran scratches his head and answers.

"Much expected... there's a lot we don't even know, and it's not that knowledgeable, is it?

That look told me that it sounded like a rejection, but actually it wasn't.

Good Lord, because he smiles like I said.

"That's fine then... I'm not expecting anything more professional. I just need you to give me a rough idea of the extent of common sense, the atmosphere in other parts of the world. I mean, it's with what I've been doing in the tavern the other day.... Most importantly, I want to talk to you two from time to time. Then you can't?

I'm almost getting close to pleading, but that's not why.

It's a less irritating village.

Occasionally, adventurers will just come and be lively.

So is the tavern, and some kids like Rusty.

I don't care if you don't have anything to do, don't wish you'd stop by now and then.

You understand what Lulu is trying to say like that, Gran replies.

"No, then hey... what, that's a straight ball. Okay, that's fine... I just wanted to say."

I thought you'd agree, Gran cut the word.

Lulu tilts his neck.

"But?"

Then he put up one finger, and Gran continued.

"We're adventurers. You can't come here that often. Besides, he said he'd come here just to talk without any reward. So... let's make a deal."

"Conditions?"

I questioned what the hell conditions could put me on right now, but Lulu decides to ask for now.

Compared to when I was a demon king, it's a body now, especially with less ties.

If it wasn't something unscrupulous, one or two of the conditions would have been fine.

Gran says.

"Oh, on condition... you, why don't you join our family (clan)?

Family name (clan).

That's one of those groups of adventurers that we call the Adventurers' Union (Alliance).

What would be different from the party would be that the clan (clan) is a larger organization than that.

To put it simply, I hear that this is an organization where a few parties get together and make them, and that they flourished in order to benefit from a lot of things when they came in.

For example, family members (clans) made of the same origin actively embrace new adventurers, bring in prior knowledge and skills, and raise them into a single adventurer, and the Adventurers' Union (guild) also acknowledges that because of its usefulness.

Previously, the Adventurers' Union (Guild) did not have such a system and seemed to have only a group the size of a party at best, but at that time the mortality rate for new adventurers was considerably higher than it is now.

After all, it would be very important to say that the inheritance of skilled people's technology.

Gran is inviting me to such a family (clan), which is not a condition.

Rather, it would be tantamount to grace.

Inviting her to the clan is the same as inviting her to the adventurer, but as a lulu, she was willing to become an adventurer.

And I knew that being in a clan was a group that didn't work very strongly, so I had no problem with that either.

However, if there is one problem...

"Gran. As I was saying, I'll be in the village for a while. Even an adventurer, no matter how backshielded that registration was, couldn't have been younger than fourteen. So..."

Yes, when Lulu answered, Gran nodded and said.

"Oh. I know. That's why I'm talking about when you're fourteen.... Well, that means me and Yumis don't belong to any clan at the moment."

"... hey, so what family (clan) do you put in?"

"Well, that's it. I'll make it by the time you're fourteen... what do you say?

Gran laughed and asked Lulu.

As for Lulu, there was no reason to say no if you could be so convenient.

I am even saying that I will deliberately create a family (clan) that doesn't exist right now, probably because I am not thinking of tying Lulu to mediation.

If this were an invitation to a party, Lulu would find it difficult to move freely. Because the party is quite enforceable.

But there is no bondage in the clan (clan) that said so. It is only a mutually supportive organization, and there is basically no tying the actions of those to whom it belongs.

So Lulu decided to snort.

In order for that to happen in reality, there are a lot of problems that need to be solved, but that is only a problem that Lulu needs to solve.

"Okay...... when it's fourteen and you sign up as an adventurer...... let's join the family (clan) that makes Gran and Yumis. That's the condition for both of you to come to this village on a regular basis..."

Then Gran laughed and offered his hand.

Let's shake hands, I guess.

Lulu shook his big hand back firmly and laughed.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Then, Yumis and Gran held a magnificent transfer from the villagers at the tavern for a big drink and back to their home city, the capital.

They were two like storms, but they were also the two who left me with a bunch of stuff on Lulu.

"Well, I'm looking forward to seven years from now!

"When I got back, the creation of my family (clan)... when did we talk about that... Well, seven years from now, we'll create a super giant family (clan), and we'll pull your liver out. Now it's our turn to surprise you! Well... Until then, I'm going to come here..."

The two of us left the village saying that.

Did I just say, "Enjoy it in seven years"?

terms tied between Lulu and Gran, or promises, but it seems that Illis is also willing to come to Lulu,

"Seven years from now, you're an adventurer, uncle!

and so on.

In fact, the skill of Illis would make it affordable, but I don't think it's a good idea if it's dangerous.

It's just that Illis is also an ancient demon.

Speaking of girls, I think that worrying may be a little rude to her, who was a soldier at one end of that war era, and I decide to stop worrying too much.

And then, if there's a problem, that's my parents' persuasion...

Just because the house is aristocratic, there are troublesome parts to be honest with and it's troublesome what a cut out it is.

However, communicating that concern,

"If you ask me honestly, I probably won't have a problem..."

said Iris.

She said that her mother, the media, was aware that Lulu was going to leave the house sooner or later, so she wondered if that would give her permission.

I do have that verse... but I don't know what will actually happen.

A little, I didn't feel uneasy.

But it's true that if you don't tell me, it won't start.

Lulu nodded at the words of Illis and decided to ask him to be honest.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Lulu's worries were nothing but worries.

What it came to know was that the media had been told that Lulu was nasty and

"I want to be an adventurer when I'm fourteen."

When I said, with my mother's face as if it were natural,

"Huh? I know. You're leaving the village, right? Or rather, it's a long way too late..."

It is when I say, etc.

When I asked him in detail, he said that the media had noticed from the time Lulu was attentive that he had a distant eye, like he yearned for somewhere, somewhere not here, and so he knew that one day he would leave the village, and one day he would tell himself about it.

But that was earlier...... and that was as much as I thought it wouldn't even be strange to say fourteen somewhere, ten years old, no, even now that I'm seven, I'm leaving the village, so when I get fourteen, etc., it was rather a pleasure for me to say it at my leisure for seven years, she said.

Would I have had such eyes?

With that in mind, I wonder if Lulu's eyes might have looked that way when he was remembering when he was once the Demon King.

It's more ancient than admiration, and it's a distant eye, because it's a history I can't take back in these hands anymore, but that's something my mother can't know about.

It was just a story where the imagination that arrived at the result was surprisingly poking the truth.

Lulu felt lucky that things rolled cleaner in a better direction than he thought.

Iris also told my mother that she was going to reach Lulu, but she still expected it.

Or he even said that it was rather too obvious for Illis to be told that he would always arrive after Lulu.

When asked what he thought of Iris being told to that extent,

"It's an honor!

and so on, so Lulu wondered if there was anything he could do to stop this already.

I don't want to stop it.

The media brought a fuzzy element of anxiety as the path to Lulu and Iris adventurers was laid steadily.

"... I don't mind, but Patrick... are you okay?

My mother is a stranger.

So this is how you easily forgive me.

But it could have been dangerous to think the same of my father.

My father, too, is never a strict type, tough about swordsmanship, but usually a gentle and gentle person.

But in its serenity, he is a man of strong force… that is, a man who is scared when he makes him angry.

Will you give my father permission to leave the house when he is fourteen?

Not very much, but yes, I can't easily answer that.

When I give that prediction to my mother, too,

"Well...... right. If you have to, why don't you fight and settle? Patrick will definitely forgive you if you lose."

I smiled, saying things like that.

That would be the right prediction.

My father is tough with swordsmanship.

And his attitude toward swordsmanship is extremely sincere.

So if you have suffered a defeat on the spot, you can also imagine following what the winner says.

But the problem is that Patrick is pretty strong.

Of course, if Lulu used all the magic he possessed, and furthermore took advantage of the swordsmanship he acquired as a demon, he could win.

But basically, the battle with Patrick is based on the Kingdom's authentic swordsmanship.

This is the rule I decided to start with Patrick in order to get the orthodox swordsmanship right, and breaking it is unacceptable.

When you fight Lulu with Patrick, suppress the magic that resides in him, and fight only with the same amount of magic that a seven-year-old has.

Lulu, too, would naturally talk about doing so if he were to compete squarely with Patrick.

When I thought about it, there was nothing worse than fighting Patrick.

Probably eighty-nine out of ten, you can't win.

But still, Lulu has to win.

Lulu sighed, imagining then.
