Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 20: Traveling, Stopping by

The trip was surprisingly light.

Maybe I made too much noise the day I decided to be an adventurer.

Everyone who exhausted the energy of energy in his body that day seemed to feel a strong loneliness for the Lulu's to leave the village, although it would have been nice if the hangover had fallen out one day, and there were several people who were about to cry.

But more than that, he didn't give me any more sparing vibes, just because I'm sure you'll hear rumors about Lulu and Illis soon enough.

That's what I remember when I remembered the Rustys, and Lulu, who was on the drop-off side at that time, is similarly lightly parted.

Nothing, I'm not going to war.

Dead tomorrow today, and that's going to be an eternal goodbye, even though I can't even say it's never going to be possible, I'd say it's not such a stuffed situation that you have to worry about it.

Adventurer operation is quite dangerous compared to the general job title, but still, for now, I am going to send one or two letters to my parents when it comes to Wang Capital, so I know that at least an obituary soon won't be a thing.

Patrick, plus everyone in the village knows you were trained by Gran and Yumis, so I guess you don't have to worry about that either.

In the front of the carriage, hanging out with your legs, burning the view of the village away in your eyes so that you don't forget.

Come to think of it, travelers, I realize that there is little experience on my side, including when I was a demon king.

When I was the Demon King, I was rather incapable of inspiring and dropping off soldiers on the front line, because I rarely stood on the front line, so I had an experience of being dropped off.

The second time raw, I thought it might be a matter of all that I've been through, but going on a journey was the beginning of one very new experience.

"Good luck..."

When Lulu muttered so, Illis, dressed in travel, smiled beside him and said:

"My uncle didn't have much time to travel back then..."

I guess Illis is remembering as he looks at the mountains he wants in the distance.

The past, the old days.

What Lulu once looked like.

"Bacchus traveled a lot... why should I be alone in the castle?"

"It's not something that your greatness moves by itself... and your uncle was the one who didn't have a replacement... you could never lose it..."

Once the Demon King, he was powerful.

But definitely not.

That thing ended up proving itself in that fight.

I would have disappeared and let the darkness be in the hearts of how many.

Thinking about it, I feel like my chest is going to rip open.

You must have seen Lulu's expression and understood what he was thinking.

Iris told me to take care of it.

"It used to be, it used to be. I'm sorry...... I've been steaming back"

"No, I'm sorry. I know you say you care too much... I really"

"No. That's why the Demons followed you... but shall we not talk about darkness here? Uncle, let me tell you something else."

That's what Iris said in a bright voice, so Lulu decided to switch heads too.

"You mean ahead. For now, it's the king's capital. Desierto, King's Capital of the Kingdom of Leonard. Via some villages... they'll be there in a week or so."

"When you arrive, are you an adventurer?

All you need to register for the Adventurer Guild is your age and a single piece of silver coin.

I think it would be most efficient to just become an adventurer because I can't ask for anything else.

It's just that I have to go say hello, or I have a promise to make.

Lulu hasn't forgotten about that.

"I plan on doing that... maybe I should go see Gran and Yumis first. They make clans in the king's capital... so Rusty and the others are there."

Iris can get Rusty's name out and flaunt his face.

"Guys, are you getting stronger? Can Mi and Yuri use magic well...?

That's what I'm saying, Iris, it makes me look like I remember something.

Regardless of Rusty, Mi and Yuri are the first friends of the Iris (human) people, as well as their beloved apprentices raised by hand salt.

I guess I can't help wondering how much that strength went up in the months I wasn't seeing you.

In retrospect, there was even more rigorous training for the two Iris girls.

I remember Rusty, Gran and Lulu doing more loosely in the same place to that hellish training that had even changed their tone and would not allow any compromise.

When I often remembered the story of Iris for me at that time, I realized that Iris was crushing church forces as a guerrilla soldier after Lulu's death, after harsh training in the military.

The training of the ancient demons is not basically so much Spartan, but some training madness has slipped away from the normal track, and perhaps Illis was mourned by such a person.

That presumption is probably correct because there was a nostalgic subordinate shadow Lulu remembers for his training against the two girls in Illis.

I can also see that that was the only means available for Iris, who was only a small child, to be able to fight that much in just a few years.

But that's why we won't train Mi and the others with that idea...

I thought so. I wondered if I could be too harsh on Illis, but the words I returned were very unexpected.

"I said I want those two to be as tough as they can be, so I'm just doing it..."

I doubted for a moment if it was true, but there is no such thing as a reason for Illis to lie.

More than that, that means those two girls wanted that harsh training of their own to Iris, but how the hell?

I couldn't wait to see what drove me to so much harsh training.

And even if you ask Iris about it,

"I can't tell you how much uncle this is. The secret of a maiden."

And they teased me.

Probably stopped by those two.

Otherwise, you can't hide it from yourself......

Thinking that far in a slightly resentful way, Lulu was annoyed.

I was kind of wondering if this was like a father who misses his separated daughter.

That's what I thought, and Lulu shrugged in his heart.

Bacchus. Your daughter seems to be growing up fine......

With that said, I was wondering how that man was after Lulu died.

I still don't know if I asked Iris, but he said that he was a father who wouldn't die if he killed him, which is Iris' assessment, and Lulu had the same feeling for him.

Ten and eighty-nine, he would have lived even after Lulu died.

And... how was I there?

There's no way to be sure anymore.

But at the end of the day, I hope you're happy.

I thought so.

That's how the rocking carriage goes down the street.

I walked past some small villages.

The one who manipulates the carriage turns around,

"I'm staying in the next city today, so get ready."

I said.

When I looked, I saw a gray wall a little further.

It is a roll because there has never been such a large city in Lulu's previous sphere of life.

Iris doesn't seem so surprised when it comes to

"It's a big city... well, not in the Devil's Capital Kranu"

and so on.

Klanu was once a city of demons, the size of which certainly cannot be compared to what seems to be a fortified city in front of us.

If you look from the Illis, I guess the view of Klanu is not so far from memory.

I can only remember how blurred Lulu looked because he died once, or is it oblivion due to being old?

Sad, so I'd like to think it was by the former.

With that in mind, the carriage finally reaches the main entrance of the fortified city.

There were several soldiers standing there, seemingly checking out people entering the city.

The carriage in which the Lulu and the others were riding was no exception, and the faces of the men, their luggage, and the Lulu, were observed, and their qualities were asked, and they were described in something.

But if you say so, that's it, and the soldier immediately afterwards,

"Welcome to the Castle City Final!

He said and welcomed me.

Sounds like your complaining, and your man is about to proceed with the carriage with a face that doesn't seem to have any emotions on his mind, but Lulu smiled at the soldier who said so because it somehow became fun.

Then the soldier thumbs up all the time, so Lulu also returns it.

I feel like I'm getting through to you somehow, and I feel better.

Speaking of, Illis stared at Lulu with a grinning grin that made him smile.

"Are you having fun?

When asked that, Illis replies with a laugh.

"Of course I am!

The smile was unusual for Illis, not the usual modest and frivolous, but a full smile, shining as if it were the sun shining around.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Immediately after entering the fortified city, the carriage headed for the inn.

There is also a place where the carriage can be stopped, which seems to be envisaged from the outset for use in such applications.

It's probably because it's a city between Wang and the capital.

The public streets were also intense and the roads seemed wide enough to be adapted to such traffic conditions.

The inn that came in was clean and tidy inside.

There doesn't even seem to be a bath in the boulder, but there seems to be about a place where you can take a bath, the bed is white, and the meals are delicious.

The sun is falling, but it's still early for dinner, so Lulu decided to take a stroll through the city with Illis in an attempt to crush his time until then.

The man of your Lord,

"It's not safe to go alone with a child."

And he cared,

"For once, I'm going to be an adventurer, and my father has enough arms to admit, so I can handle it."

That said, he looked as if he remembered and was convinced.

He seems to have that much credibility in his father's arms, which makes him a little happy about it.

Then,

"So shall we come, uncle?

That's what Iris said, so he nodded and left the inn for the city.
