Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 153: Memories to Tell

The place we continued to walk to was, in a way, convincing and, in a way, unexpected.

That's because it was a cave, the home of that Aurbea parent and child.

"... why are you here"

When Lulu asks Solange, she thinks a little and then says with a witty smile.

"You can see that if you go… Now, more than that, what are we going to do now?"

That's what I said, rubbing my jaw, staring at the cave from the bush.

It should be said, because a few hours have passed since then, Aurbea parents and children have come back to grate.

He's picking up something to prey on, looks like he's eating, but I can't help it if I don't get rid of that one.

It's easy to beat by example, but that's not preferable and it hasn't changed that you're not willing to do it.

Solange stares at Lulu and says.

"Can I ask you again?

I figured that would happen, but there's no particular reason to say no.

Whatever Solange's own business was before, it's about getting involved with the Lulu's.

However, what bothered me was why Solange didn't do it himself.

Lulu decided to ask honestly because he didn't see any other circumstances to ask.

"I don't mind... Solange, you're a pretty good arm magician, aren't you? Why do you ask me if I seem to be able to do enough to get rid of you?

Solange answered the question without incident.

"I don't want to use magic as much as I can."

"Magic...?

The feeling is understandable as a mage.

Because if you can, it's only by keeping the magic warm that the magician will have an increased chance of survival.

However, the attitude of letting Lulu accept magic consumption and save himself cannot be described as a good one.

It can be said, indeed, that Lulu has almost infinitely equal magic power compared to a common sorcerer, but still, such an attitude would not have been complimented.

Naturally, both Lulu and Iris had a slightly sharp gaze, which made them blame, but Solange shook his head after understanding what that gaze meant.

"No, I'm not the only one who's trying to survive or anything like that. It's just that you really need my magic where you're going, and there's nothing you can do without some more left. If there's a demon on the way home, I'll do whatever it takes to expose it."

Like that.

The absence of lies in this word was understandable to both of us in the way it was said.

Even if it is a lie, there is no problem at all, but it is a matter of discerning whether it is a trustworthy person or not.

I can confirm that there is no change in the impression that Solange is probably a good man, and the two of them nod.

Then, as Solange asked, Lulu tried to get rid of Aurbea.

- But.

"Ki-yu!

Like the three of them, Rigadora, who was hiding in the bush and asking about Aurbea, rang and popped out ahead of Lulu.

Originally, Rigadora is an ancient dragon (Enchanted Dragon), but if it's its original body, you don't have to worry about its combat power.

However, I doubt that in the current state of Rigadora we can beat Aulbearer.

Anyway, Rigadora now only has the kind of magic that hair grows on regular dragons.

Flying rigadora.

Luckily, I grabbed my tail easily because it was a terribly dull flight speed that I should say, or naturally in shape.

Then I try to pull it back, but with tears in my eyes,

"Ki-yu, ki-yu!

and make them flap their wings trying to fly away.

You want to die that bad?

I didn't think so, but when I looked at Aurbea, Lulu was a little surprised because he noticed this one and stared, and he didn't feel hostile to the atmosphere.

The Aulbearers' gaze seemed to have noticed Lulu as well, but basically they found it suitable for Rigadora.

Lulu, who confirmed it, looked at Rigadora and

"... you know him?

When asked,

"Kiyu. Kiyu."

and answered with his neck covered vertically.

Rigadora's reaction revealed that the world of demons, which is not the world of men, should also be said to be narrow, face-to-face - apparently.

If the Aulbearers take a good look, they have the look of an unexpected person in an unexpected place - like, I don't even feel like it.

Lulu had no choice but to sigh and

"... ok. Go on."

That's what I said and let go of my tail.

Immediately after,

"Kiyu ~"

Tattered, and Rigadora flew towards Aurbea, leaving behind the sound and chirping of her wings.

Check that out, Lulu looking back at Solange and Iris.

"... what is that little dragon (Liga Dragon)?

That's what Solange asked me, but Lulu looked at Iris and then shook his head like he'd given up.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

"... alertless?"

"Of, sounds like..."

"I've never done this before..."

Lulu, Iris and Solange pass next to Aurbea parents and children who seem busy rolling around and eating their prey, each whining like that.

It is completely alert, and I can't see any sleigh that strikes or cares about the Lulu's.

It's just that Rigadora,

"Kiyu"

And when it rings,

"Gu..."

and roared to reply.

Between them, some sort of non-negotiation and persuasion was made, apparently, and it was concluded.

I guess I got clearance to cross because I know him.

And don't worry about the Lulu's, that's what they thought.

It is Conne who should have it.

Even if it's against demons.

"I'm not gonna get rid of you from now on, but you mean you can go through with it?

That's what Solange asked as he walked.

Not against Lulu, but against Rigadora.

She has also come to find out that Rigadora is unraveling the humanities, albeit somehow.

Rigadora nodded with her chest stretched to Solange's question.

"... easy and nice. It would be nice to have one of these loved animals (pets) in my house as well..."

I doubt if I can finally secure the Ancient Dragon (Enchanted Dragon) as such a cheeky plaything animal (pet), but I also feel it's not impossible to watch this Ligadora's insecurity.

Lulu and the others kept walking through the cave for a while, chatting like that.

The interior of the cave was crooked and hard to understand with some branches again, as if it were a maze, but not for Solange, he said.

He proceeded without hesitation, choosing a branch to lead the way.

That's how I finally got there.

There,

"... isn't it the end of the line?

That's what Iris said when he stared at the wall.

Sure, she's right, there's nothing there.

No matter where you look in the cave, the soil walls that are spreading are just there as well, and you can't go any further.

But Solange smiles and says.

"No. This isn't the end of the line... you guys stay back."

That being said, Solange instructed the Lulu's to stay away from the wall.

Both Lulu and Illis follow the word and take a little distance from Solange.

Solange then approaches the dirt wall and touches a part of it.

Then he slowly unleashed his magic and poured it into the area where he held his hand.

"... I see you've been saving magic for this."

Lulu squeaks so.

Look, I get it.

What is this place?

That's the same thing for Illis, the two of them staring at Solange with the same expression and the dirt wall on which she held hands.

Solange's unleashed magic is sucked into a part of the earth wall.

It was blurry and blue and brilliant there, just making it look like a dirt wall, and it was obvious that there was some kind of device.

Then, after a while, the dirt wall shifts to the side by making a noise.

Solange also stopped releasing magic.

From what I can see, her magic has been lost roughly a third of the time, and I see that, indeed, on the road, she would not have been able to move this device if she had wasted it.

Originally, both Lulu and Illis recall the past and building of these facilities in various ways to prevent them from being opened to people (human beings).

Only rarely.

Someone like Solange who can make magic wavelengths fit and doors open.

"... my brother-in-law (who is here). Do you remember...?

That's what Illis asks.

It was obvious what you were talking about.

But Lulu shakes his head.

"I knew it would be made here too, later (...)... not in my memory"

Answer me that.

Solange looked back at Lulu and Illis, surprised, and said, showing him beyond the open door.

"Come on in... I don't know what this place is... do you need an explanation?

What a hard word to answer.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

"... I used to live in the back of the woods... I walked around a lot trying to avoid rainstorms. In the meantime, it was this cave I found..."

That was a continuation of the story at Solange's cabin.

She continues as she walks down a passage shaped by special metals, not to be seen first in modern times.

"At first, around the entrance to the cave - I was screwing around around where Aurbea was... one day, curiosity arose. I thought I'd find out how deep the cave is. Was that luck or bad luck... I just got there in front of the wall"

I guess that was a complete coincidence.

Perhaps for thousands of years it has been an abandoned facility

It's no surprise there are a few people who have reached the front of that dirt wall.

The question is, how could you open that door and find out there's an opening and closing device?

"That time... you don't know what to say. I thought that was the end of the line, so I took a break for a while. You walked pretty well, didn't you? At the time, I couldn't use magic... at the limit of my strength. I was leaning against the wall trying to get some rest before I went back. But... when I thought it was time to go back, the wall that was supposed to be on my back fell out. Move big on the side..."

Ilis asks Solange what he says.

"... have you opened the door, do you mean? yourself."

But Solange shook his head at the words.

The three of them and one leg keep moving towards the back of the facility.

A familiar sight for Lulu and Illis.

For Solange...... I wonder.

Rigadora is in a good mood as usual and I'm not sure, but she's not moving.

That's what you should call an ancient dragon (enchanted dragon).

Solange continues.

"Because it's what I've been leaning on. The wall where I kept my weight suddenly disappeared, and I fell straight back. I was surprised... that surprise wasn't a big deal later on. When I fell, I tried to move my gaze behind me with what had happened and with it down. Then someone's shadow flutters. If I looked up, there was someone standing there. Guess who, on the other hand, was in shape. I couldn't react instantly, and I was shuddering like an idiot... and then I heard a voice"

"Is that your voice... what is it?

Illis asks.

Solange replied.

"... 'Here, where. Who are you? I laughed.' Cause I'm missing something to say, and that's the dialogue. It was too easy to understand and I didn't know what kind of reaction to take... just one thing I found out in one word was that the person didn't have the slightest desire to do this to me. You're obviously losing sight of where you are... because that was your voice. He seems anxious... so anxious to help. So I got up and thought I'd talk to the guy for a little while... well, I was willing to say what I could do living alone in a forest cave."

Solange goes down the aisle.

Lulu and the others get to her.

Sticky, clicky and high sounds ringing.

There were several rooms along the way in the aisle, and I felt the urge to come in, but now I should follow Solange.

She obviously had a purpose.

I just want to show you this facility, that's not all I was taking you for, somehow I found out.

That way, the three of us and one finally get there.

in a large hemispherical room.

That was a room that looked so familiar that both Lulu and Illis had too much in mind, it goes without saying that the gaze was directed towards its unconscious center.

"... that person is my mother. And my mother said... 'It seems I slept in the back of this. I want you to tell me when the hell this is and where this is. Human (...)'."

Who is it?

It was too self-evident for Lulu and Illis.

And maybe what that equipment that exists in the center of the room is.

that object in the form of a transparent capsule.

It was obviously Illis asleep...

"... Someone, are you there"

That's what Lulu said, as he squeezed it out of his throat.
