Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 165: Zoe's Rank

"I see it!

It was the morning of the second day that the carriage ran out, shouting that way as Illis put his face out of his front.

I would have followed it in a day if I had made the double-headed dragon hasten more, but it's not a particularly hasty journey either.

I just need to get my job done and get back within two weeks, and I can still afford a week.

Assuming it would take three days to get back, there would be an investigation period of four days, which was nothing more than a marginal date for the Lulu's.

If you are other adventurers, there are problems encountering demons and allocating your health and magic powers, and you will want a week just to investigate, because the Lulu's can afford both, no need to go back to the city one way or the other, and even get a pretty short sleep.

"Final... since I was on my way to King's Landing before."

That is what Lulu replied to the words of Illis.

"I haven't seen you in fifty years... you haven't changed the feel of the outer walls. Inside... what do you think?

That's how Zoe inherits.

Originally, the outer walls of the Final are built to cover the city, but it is a barrier to defend the city and hence the country from the raids of the demons of the Logsuela Mountains, whose history begins when the kingdom of Leonard was founded so little more.

Pretty old, not for about fifty years.

Of course, in the centuries-old history, repairs and additions have been made more than once in conjunction with the expansion of the city, but the impression I get from the whole seems to remain unchanged in about fifty years.

As we approached the main entrance of the Final, we saw several soldiers standing, just like before, checking the visitors one after the other.

With a long line, Lulu and the others attach the carriage behind them.

Lines seem to be well separated between walking and carriages, and the carriage line may go faster one way or another because there are many people of a nature, such as merchants, who need a quick reception.

The number of soldiers walking in the carriage line was large, and I could see them working tightly. However, many soldiers walking in the foot line were unfamiliar with each other, and it appeared that trouble was frequent.

"Can't we stop it, too?

While acknowledging that the double-headed dragon holding the carriage attracts considerable attention from the people in line, Lulu asks Ilis and Zoe yes.

The iris,

"I used to go by a common carriage, so there was nothing wrong with it... what about this one?

and tilt his neck.

Zoë is

"... With that said, can you use my ID? Once... I brought some from fifty years ago..."

That's what I said, I put out a few cards from my nostalgia and showed them to the Lulu's.

Many people show different kinds of signs and thoughts cards, but Lulu and the others don't quite understand.

I can only tell by the citizenship card and the adventurer card, but everything else is the first thing I've seen.

Incidentally, a citizenship card is a deed paid by the state that you will need when paying taxes, but supposedly not for someone with an adventurer's card.

It was thought that Zoe had it either because she was using it at a time when she was not an adventurer or because she wanted to hide being an adventurer in the village.

"Isn't this one available? The colors are different... there's no outline of what's ours."

That said, Lulu pointed to Zoe's platinum (platinum) adventurer ID.

Lulu's adventurer ID is elementary - I mean, it's red copper (bronze), but Zoe's would obviously be higher than that.

Adventurer's ID for gold, silver, copper and color-coded from advanced.

on gold, is platinum, which means that

"- Zoe, you, were you superior?

When Lulu asks, Zoe has a slightly drawn face.

I brought the cards, fine, but they didn't really check the details.

She didn't seem to know what that coloured Adventurer ID meant either.

"I don't remember being... pushed, do I? As far as I'm concerned, I got it because I'm going to be able to take any request without restriction, and I'm almost out of obligations, except in certain cases. But... you can't use it right now, can you? Fifty years, I've done nothing, so it's no wonder everything's been revoked from registration."

That's what I said, take my Adventurer's ID, and look smudged.

Lulu listens further.

"By the way, are you an extraordinarily inferior? Or superior?"

"Er... it says here," Superior. "Heh... that's right. Not at all. Much appreciated..."

And I nod like I don't care.

They really didn't know it was that rank until now.

He didn't seem very interested in the Alliance ranks, even though he signed up fifty years ago because he was putting his heart and soul into raising his children.

However, that doesn't mean they don't know what that rank means.

I sighed and groaned to make sure.

"I never thought I was going to be like this, but when I say superior, for once, you're the best in the Adventurers' Union (Alliance) framework...... I'm afraid if I put this out to the current Adventurers' Union (Alliance), they're going to say cheat or something"

"Sure... that's going to be dangerous"

Illis nods and says.

"But that's the only ID you have, isn't it? There 'll be other guys, but it's all just over fifty years old after all... isn't it the same what you put out?

"When they say that, I feel like I don't have a body or a lid... but if they say no, should I think about it then? For once, the difficulty of counterfeiting hasn't changed, has it?

"Oh, you haven't changed."

"You've been doing that for a long time."

Zoe said to confirm, so Lulu and Illis nodded.

I remember it was written on parchment previously given to Allyn, an official of the Adventurers' Union (Guild).

It was produced by the ancient people (elves), so it can't be replicated.

Since there is an absolute barrier, I don't think that anyone can really replicate it, but it is definitely a product that is still quite difficult to replicate in modern times.

That being the case meant to say it was credible and likely to be used without any problems, even fifty years old.

It's also hard to imagine a soldier making a bother noise about being superior.

The Lords of the Final will be contacted, there may be enough, but you won't have to think about the possibility of being mentioned all the more.

"Well, I'll just give it a try... if you need anything, follow me"

That's what Zoe says and meditates on one eye.

If there was one stuffiness, I felt like things weren't just about following things, but there was a lot of room for Zoe.

After all, even fifty years ago, the experience we have lived in modern times may make us feel that this degree of danger and other things are not significant.

If experience alone was to say, I could say that Lulu and Illis have also gone through many training grounds, but they were not used to these places, which forced tensions of a different nature than they did during the war, and still felt they could count on Zoë, who could not afford it.

I opened the lid and the check at the main entrance went through easily.

"Do you have your name and identity, and any documents to prove it?

That's what they asked, and Lulu and Illis immediately issued an Adventurer ID, and that's it.

And Zoe, too,

"Is this okay?

and give a dignified platinum (platinum) adventurer ID.

The soldier sees it,

…… Huh!? "

and gave me a look that surprised me for a moment, but after receiving it, I quickly checked what I needed so that I didn't look like the others in line, and I immediately returned it to

"... Indeed. No problem. Welcome to the finals!

I said it was over.

It was fifty years ago, but it still seems to be valid today.

I don't know if it worked until I took it to the Adventurers Union (Guild) and put it through the magic implements, but it seemed to work well enough when I entered the city anyway.

There seems to be no discomfort whatsoever after seeing Zoe's Adventurer ID about the fact that the big man, the double-headed dragon, is holding the carriage as a "horse," so much so that the deflected gaze of seeing something obviously suspicious, which was directed until then, has been fogged away.

However, at the end of the day, the soldier

"Lords may contact you, so let Final Soldier Stuff know once you've made a reservation, such as an inn"

It was added that

However, it would be fine because it was content that relied on the favor, if you like, rather than the feeling that it was absolute, too.

The authority of the extraordinary adventurer, I felt like I knew something again.

The Lulus also know only enough with one hand to say extraordinary, especially superior adventurers, including Zoë.

With tens of thousands and adventurers, we still have to convince ourselves that there is a reason why the numbers are so small.

"That was surprisingly helpful... I just wanted to thank the kid who gave it to me"

That's what Zoe says as she flickers her Adventurer ID, so Lulu says,

"Who gave it to you?

Ask.

It's a superior adventurer's card.

I didn't think it would be so easy to give it away.

"At the time, I got it for a kid who was head of the Adventurers' Union (Alliance Master) in the southern city. When I received a request for something, I was greatly appreciated... to say that it was quite difficult, because it was a request that was left out for a long time without anyone taking on, and I took it, but I was blinded by cleaning it up. After that, when I did some similar requests, he gave them to me. However, to say that it was too conspicuous for boulders and to say that I saved enough money, I hope I got this, but you never actually used it. So, just as I got it, throw it somewhere in the shed. By the way, until I got it, it was supposed to be about intermediate top rank... so I didn't think you'd rank me all at once. It's annoying..."

But that being said, the credibility of that Adventurer ID is terribly high.

If you look at the way Grand and Yumis, Uvezd and Shui are trusted in the King's capital, you'll see.

The problem is that not a single person in this era, such as one who recognizes Zoe's face as a premium adventurer, but for the Lulu's, that would rather work positive.

I don't want to sell my face any more, and I know that my identity itself can be trusted with it if I have an Adventurer ID.

It is clear, at least about Lulu and Illis, that there is enough to stick with the extraordinary adventurer about his prowess, and I have yet to see Zoe's prowess, but at least he was once a dragon knight in the Demon King's Army, so it is unlikely that he is weak.

So Lulu tells Zoe.

"Ma, if you're showing off too much, it's going to be troublesome, but unless you do, it'll be useful. If you put a carriage in the inn, why don't you go check with the Final Adventurers' Union (Alliance) as soon as possible? If they say they can't use it, that's fine."

That said, Lulu had Rigadora advance the carriage.

Inn had asked the soldiers at the main gate what they recommended, and was introduced to quite a few places where it was possible to take care of large carriages and dragons.

The price is going to be tight, but the Lulu and the others have the prize money they earned in the fight.

There are rewards for requests made with Rusty and the Gayas at the Adventurers Union (Guild), but even if you don't say it's not enough, you won't be able to stay long.

I should be able to raise my ranks and earn about the cost of accommodation, but I don't even want to act too extremely conspicuous because of that.

Fighting competitions are festivals, so it's like attending a festival, and I'm not looking to stand out in the Adventurers' Union (Guild), which is my place of work.

So much so that I intend to stick with it firmly and do the motto.

And Zoe, who heard it, beckoned,

"... that's what you call an unreasonable goal..."

That was needless to say.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

"Platinum certificate (platinum card)! Heh, sister, you're so young and you're special. But I haven't heard much of your name...... could it be away?

That's what the official man told me if Zoe tried to give him an Adventurer ID at the Adventurers Union (Guild).

I know it's just a public story if you ask me from a man, but you're young, I signed up fifty years ago before I was told, so it's hard to say.

I decided to flush it properly and ask if I could use my Adventurer ID.
