Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 183: The Murderer

"... wow, that"

"It's not amazing... it's not human..."

The heavily warrior youth, Brasco, and the sorcerer girl, Sarah, who partied with Zoë and Iris, could not block her mouth open to that sight that played out in front of her.

Since then, when each of the adventurers who were in the Adventurers' Union (Guild) had finished partying, they were quickly set to head to the woods.

The only way to get around is by carriage, on foot from a point where the carriage won't let you in, and you've actually traveled that way, and now the adventurers, they're in the woods.

The positions were broadened to approximately equal intervals, exploring the woods in terms of surface, each of which was in close contact with gestures and voices.

In the meantime, the demons were rarely attacked, and all the adventurers were supposed to work together to eliminate them, but basically the attacked party decided to respond, and when they came in to help, there were too many, powerful demons, or they were in a dangerous state.

Therefore, in order to complete this request, it is important to work with each team and develop individual skills.

For this reason, it is normal to have some consultation on what way each of us would fight in the carriage en route to the woods and how the collaboration would be organized, but Zoe and Ilis were slightly different.

In introducing themselves in detail to the extent that Brasco and Sarah did not reveal their trump cards, Zoe and the others only roughly explained how they fought.

If this was all we wanted to do, we didn't want to give out as much information as we could, and we didn't feel distrustful about going into such an attitude with a request like this one, but it didn't seem like there was any reason to say that when we listened.

to Brasco and Sarah that they want to learn more about how to fight,

"I'll do my best with a spear."

Like,

"We use magic, we use fists."

I only say things like that, and when I hear about collaboration again,

"I'll fit in roughly."

Like,

"Make it easier for you two to fight, and we'll assist you"

You don't say anything specific like that.

But it felt like an expression of confidence that we were trying to hide our way of fighting, rather than being able to handle whatever we did.

In fact, if you ask about Zoe's rank, he says he's a superior, and he's a junior about Illis, but he's still a semi-finalist at the martial arts tournament.

Well, I was once convinced on the spot that if that were indeed all the strength, it would not be just the mouth.

However, still, until we saw it in our own eyes, we could not deny that we underestimated its strength.

Why, because Zoe and Illis, who are now fighting in front of us, are exercising tremendous power.

Zoe wields that spear, and Illis is using magic and fists to fight.

It looks like it was declared in advance, and it's good about that.

It's just a different level of standing behavior that can only be expressed that way, whether it's on a different scale or out of standard.

It's not like there's some very powerful magic.

But technology is so unusual that every move even seems like art.

In fact, the stone statue demons (gargoyles) and female head birds (harpies) that are now coming at the two of them are being flirted with by just the two of them.

Even though the two demons are as huge as I've ever seen them, and it would be tough on a few intermediate adventurers or even an advanced one to defeat them, each of them is dealing with them alone.

Zoe is gradually shredding her strength by flushing down the stone statue demon (gargoyle) arm with a single spear, avoiding it and adding more scratches.

Iris is small on the female head bird (Harpy) that flies endlessly around the universe, but surely knocks the magic in, knocks his fist in where the altitude has come down and weakens it a little bit.

It was a really good, dangerous way to carry a battle.

In addition, until earlier, Brasco and Sarah were fighting together, but when they tried to fall back because they ran out of strength and magic against two too huge demons, Zoe and Iris, who were behind them until then, said they could support Brasco and his magic until they recovered.

I stopped it then, but this is how I see where I'm actually fighting. I don't need to do that at all, but rather I even feel like I'm going to be defeated by just the two of us.

"I wonder if all the extraordinary people are this strong"

That's what Brasco said with the kind of voice he admired, so Sarah answered.

"I don't know. So much so that I wonder if these two are special... but you must be strong. It's a long way to go."

One day extraordinarily, it is a natural dream for those who have become adventurers.

Shown the end point of that dream, the two felt a flame of strong longing lit up in their chests with surprise.

"It's strong, but it doesn't seem like you need unscrupulous power or magic... if you work hard, you might get there."

There was a reason for what Brasco said.

Zoe and Iris are certainly strong.

Very skilled.

But clearly, that's all it looks like.

But even though that's all, it's obviously strong at the level of drawing the line.

This was a serious discovery for both of us.

When I say premium, I thought somewhere in my mind that it had to be someone with a special talent - someone with great magic or chosen taste.

Seeing the Zoes, I thought maybe that wasn't necessarily the case.

That's why I felt the flame of hope that was going away.

"... right. To do that... it would be time to recover your strength and magic, wouldn't it? It's about fighting together."

That's what Sarah said, but Brasco nods and speaks to the two people fighting - Zoe and Iris.

"It's time to go!

Once again, when they heard the voice, Zoe stepped back from the front line and took turns attacking him.

The two were also top notch as supporters, and I know now that Brasco and Sarah were providing support to make it easier to fight.

With the support of the two of us, there was no doubt now that even the Brascos could beat those giant demons.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Seeing the two of them start to work hard, Elise turned to cover Zoe face to face.

That said, although Brasco is a heavy warrior who supports the front line, Sarah is rather a sorcerer who fights by flying magic from the rear, so he also supports it differently.

As for Brasco, Illis will cover her from behind, and as for Sarah, Zoe will protect her from demonic attacks around it, in such a way as to get her to fly the magic.

Each target would be just right with Brasco being the Stone Statue Demon (Gargoyle) and Sarah being the Female Head Bird (Harpy).

A few minutes after they thought about it and started fighting, the two of them, firmly defeated two demons, were rough breathed but seemed quite satisfied.

I didn't think we could take it down on ourselves, but after Zoe and Illis scraped it to some degree.

This result would rather be natural, since the two are never low in strength and have a sufficiently intermediate degree.

That said, those two demons were demons that still fall into the awesome category.

Two people who fought without fright against it would need words of labor.

That's what I thought, Zoe, when I tried to sound tired.

"Wow...!!

And I heard screams from far away.

It is the voice of a wild man.

Definitely one of the adventurers who came here, but what happened?

If you think so and look in the direction of the scream, the roar rings.

That's the sound of a tree being knocked down.

It seems that an extra powerful demon has emerged, and I hear a scream to prove it.

"Cover! Cover me!!

That was a word the adventurers had decided beforehand to ask other parties for help in the event of the emergence of such powerful demons that one party alone could not handle.

And the voice never stops going on.

Stay away, but the Zoes should be on their way, too.

So, Zoe said.

"I'm coming!

To the words, Iris, Brasco, and Sarah nodded, and the four of us ran out.

"... the woods are over around here"

It is Lulu, who gradually ascended from the foothills of the Logsuela Mountains towards the mountains.

The foot was finally to step through the woods and near the peak of a peek of rough mountain skin.

I don't care if a giant rock is there and a volcanic rock blown away by volcanic activity or something is so sparsely placed, I feel fuzzy signs and Lulu explores the place of those signs hiding in the shadow of a single big thing even among the rocks he sees around it.

Then, in a position not so far away, I saw something.

Amazingly, there were two women there, both with blue hair and amber eyes like the sky, a remarkable looking woman.

The age would be quite young on one side, around seven years old, the wind I said, while on the other side it would be to the middle of twenty.

I can feel the impression that the atmosphere is more dull for the girl, the woman seems more elegant, a quiet woman.

A good number of men will hold their eyes if they see it all over the city, women of unique beauty in each of them, but there is no denying that the place is somewhat odd.

Why, this is the Logsuela Mountains.

Because it is a nightmarish place for people, where uncountable demons and harsh environments eliminate weak creatures.

Moreover, to say near its top is the residence of the apex of the demons, the ancient dragon (Enchanted Dragon), where approaching means death.

A normal woman trying to get close to a place like that, etc?

The answer to that question is clearly no.

But I'm pretty sure there's actually two women here.

Why, they exist here.

The answer to that question didn't come to mind no matter how much I thought about it.

"... why don't you ask me first hand...?

I thought so. When Lulu tried to get out of the rock shade,

"... is anybody there? Come out. If your life is in vain."

And of the two women, an adult woman with a quiet atmosphere asked that in a calmer manner looking more accurately at the rock with lululu.

Lulu is surprised because he wasn't going to be so obvious about the signs.

It's definitely something ordinary women can't do, at least.

Now it's clear that he's quite capable, but he still doesn't know who he is.

Well, what shall we do?

I thought so, but I didn't have to be called by her, and she was trying to show herself before that.

It's just the right thing to do, let's show ourselves and ask directly......

Lulu, who thought so, appeared from the shadows of the rocks.

Then the two women opened their eyes to surprise.

Then, an adult woman tilts her neck more and tells Lulu.

"... strange, huh? This is where people (human beings) are..."

The voice was quite calm and I felt like I could have a conversation, so Lulu tried to open his mouth.

But at that moment, something flies toward Lulu with tremendous momentum and hits that chest.

Take it, Lulu falls in about.

to a woman staring cold at such a lululu figure,

"... even though I don't have much strength, I see it like that because I come to this. From now on, be careful. That said... next time, though, there won't be"

and so on and be skipped intense sarcasm.

Apparently, I found out he was considered an enemy, but I'm not sure why the hell.

Besides, then something strange happened.

"So, jerk off!? Are you kidding me?

Along with the shouting, one of the two women, the girl, called Lulu more and shook Lulu's body.

I have a nearby look that will stand the spectacle, a neat look that I would expect in a decade, but that face is painted with a sad look that doesn't look too good on me.

I'm not supposed to know her, but somehow I found out that she was showing Lulu herself.

Who the hell was that?

With that in mind, Lulu decided to get up and appeal to his survival to reassure him because he was worried.

"No, that's not a problem at all... or that one there. What do you think of throwing stones all of a sudden? Can you listen to me for as long as you want?

and Lulu laughed as he showed the stones he had received and gripped them.

Seeing such a lull, the woman made her expression rude and then said:

"... I see you... you're the culprit of all this, right?
