Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 255: How to Immigrate Lugung

"Is this the Night Eagle Pavilion?

That's what Lulu said as he looked up at the shop sign.

Iris confirms it and nods.

"Yeah, that's what it says. There are signs on the market."

"It doesn't look like a good store. I only recommend boulders."

and said as Zoe smelled the simmering smell coming from inside the store.

It seemed to her that she could make an immediate decision as to whether it was a good store based on the smell of drifting food.

On Zoe's shoulder, Nina also smelled and said, "Kiku! Kicu," he says.

It also smells dramatically delicious.

"Come in, then."

That's what Lulu said. When he pushed the store door, he immediately said, "Welcome!" and the cheerful voice of the clerk returns.

The guide clerk immediately stopped by, says Lulu.

"Ravah, Moitz, Ivan, or a guest named Paula didn't come first? I promised to eat with you."

Then the clerk,

"Oh, you're a booking customer. This way, please."

So I started moving towards the back of the store.

It was a privately built room with no conversation leaking around it.

It is a spacious room that is likely to accommodate about ten people.

The Moitz didn't seem to be here yet, but there was one, the one who was on ahead.

"I'm finally here!

And it was Paula, a three-knit dwarf (Catangenos), who said and put up a jock with ale.

I seem to be able to do it already, and I have about two jocks that I think I drank up.

The clerk noticed and immediately held it and asked Lulu and the others to order a drink, so they each asked for what they could come up with.

Zoe is alcoholic, but Lulu and Iris are quiet things: tea and fruit water.

Physically, I thought Iris wouldn't get drunk no matter how much alcohol he took, but he wouldn't look too good from his appearance.

Lulu is in a drunken physique if he drinks, but he can break it down as much as he wants by magic.

However, I still stopped asking for this one because of the appearance problem.

Alcohol relations are left to Zoe.

Naturally, Zoe can keep drinking as much as she wants without getting drunk at all.

"Nothing to do, you're here too soon. Is it good to interact with the investigators of the Adventurers' Union (Alliance)?

Paula's job is to be an information investigator for the Adventurers' Union (Guild).

This time we are gathered in Teram Nadia for the exchange of information among investigators everywhere.

Thus, for the first time in a long time, I thought there might have been time to warm up the old relationship, but Paula said,

"You said that was tomorrow, right? We all have a lot to prepare for today, so we're caged in an inn, walking around Teram Nadia, everything."

said.

It was Iris who tilted his neck to this dialogue.

"What exactly is preparation?

"Of course that's for the information exchange. It's like a kind of presentation, sort of sorting out materials for it, checking to see if there's any shortage of information I've been collecting, checking to see if there's any new information I know of Teram Nadia... all sorts of things. Because what you announce here extends to Adventurers' Unions (guilds) everywhere. Hey, you can't do bad things. That's why we're all nervous."

If I thought it was a light exchange, it seemed like a more solid gathering than I thought.

If you do have that much influence, you won't be able to say the proper thing.

Besides, where each one is a professional information-gathering professional, the penetration is probably tough.

If they told me I had to do the same thing, my stomach would be sore, Lulu thought.

But if that's the case, doesn't Paula have to be ready for tomorrow?

That's what I thought. Zoe asks.

"Paula, are you okay with drinking in here?

"I have nothing to be so well prepared to announce this time, hey. It's easy."

If you ask, not everyone has to make that daunting announcement, but only investigators who have come to gather information that seems to be of considerable importance.

It seemed that Paula had contacted her beforehand to decide which information was important, and that there was no such thing as Paula's information.

Those in that position seem to have no problem drinking and walking like this, and a few of the other investigators are just coming to sightseeing.

So don't do anything, that doesn't mean that setting up meeting places etc. seems to be the job of those who said so, but that seems to mean we should do it tomorrow.

"So drink today."

That said, Paula put up the jock again.

◇ ◆ ◇ ◆ ◇

A while later came the heavy town of the Adventurers' Union (Guild) and its aides, plus Rava.

Moitz shows that he looks like a boy and Ivan has a slightly frightened face.

The clerk naturally didn't notice Moitz and treated him politely about Ivan and Rava, but Moitz seemed to have some fun with the tone of speaking to the kid about Moitz.

Then the three of them took their seats and got to the stage where they asked for a drink, and Moitz tried to ask for a drink, but the clerk still stopped.

I pointed out about Paula, and I made a simple claim that I was a dwarf over there (Katangenos), so I was easily rejected.

"... you might want to give up drinking in this look..."

and unfortunately is Moitz who started drinking the same tea as Lulu.

Ravah slapped Moitz on the side,

"Well, you can drink it when you grow up. Until then, be patient."

And I laughed.

Moitz didn't seem particularly uncomfortable and seemed to have fun, but Ivan had a look that seemed to hold his breath.

Paula, who heard those two conversations,

"Lugung can drink it. First of all, I don't check my age to serve alcohol."

And I said with Nina in my chest, so Moitz eats up.

"Well, what does that mean?

To much of that appearance, Paula pulled slightly and Nina, who was being held as to whether her arms had been strengthened as a result, was about to suffer "fuzzy..."

But without worrying about that, Paula answers the question, holding Nina strong.

"Oh, well, that's... because about 30% of Lugung's population is dwarf (Catangenos). Making sure you're old is a pain in the ass. If it feels like a dwarf (Katangenos) because I see it like I do, I don't often hide the jewels on my forehead..."

The dwarves (Catangenos) have a distinctive ethnic costume, which is much of what Paula wears.

So it seemed that most people could tell from a glance that they were dwarves (Catangenos), but many dwarves (Catangenos) did not wear what they said in Lugung.

If that's all it is, it no longer looks like just a child when hidden gems embedded in dwarf (Catangenos) -specific foreheads.

When that happens, no other race can judge whether it is a dwarf (Catangenos).

In Lugung, that happens, and they have a culture of treating adults basically when a childish person comes to the liquor store and orders liquor.

Occasionally, the children of a person pretending to be an adult dwarf (Katangenos) appear to come, but the store is not particularly problematic if he or she purposely serves alcohol to the child, regardless of the fact that he or she claimed to be an adult of the dwarf (Katangenos).

Well, it's nothing. There's no age set for drinking in any country, but there's a feeling that it's basically not a good idea if you're too young.

Lugung said so. I guess that means the feeling is a little thin.

Moitz, who heard this,

"I heard good things. I've been to Lugung a few times, because I didn't study such fine cultures...... Next time, be sure to come."

And I'm saying that.

It was Lulu for a moment that I thought I'd tell him if he wanted to drink as he was, or if he was, how to mess with the age of the art of humanization, but there are various dangers if he makes the art of humanization too convenient.

It was not a good idea to teach Moitz too much detail for the convenience of one person, he rethought, and decided to leave him alone, Lulu.

Then I ask what I thought when I heard Paula's Lugung commentary.

"Paula is familiar with the Lugung Trading Country for a long time, right?

It was a question of wondering if you were familiar with the culture of a neighboring country that was the head of the Northern Union (North Master) of the Adventurers' Union (Guild) and didn't even know Moitz, who had so much opportunity to access information.

Paula answers like nothing.

"Uh, because I, originally from that country. I grew up there when I was a kid. Of course you do."

I see.

That would happen.

Because Leonard also has a lot of people from Lugung.

But nevertheless, I wasn't surprised just by a little coincidence that it was something that was close by.

Lulu told Ivan that

"Did you know?

Asking, Ivan says.

"Yes. In selecting your guide (guide), we have extracted from the staff of the Adventurers' Union (Guild) those from the Lugunic Trading Country. I was in there...... well, I was a little surprised to find out today for the first time"

There's Paula in this word,

"Oh? Do you even run errands for people from the Lugung Trading Country?

I came to ask, so I saw Moitz and Ivan's face wondering if I could answer.

For once, the request is to explore the Lugung merchant country, because it is highly hidden, so those who know should be kept to a minimum.

But Moitz nodded at Lulu's gaze when he inquired.

I can explain, apparently.

It was like looking at the journey of the past few days and the data within the Adventurers Union (Guild) and deciding that Paula could be trusted.

Lulu says.

"... I need a favor. We've got to get into the Lugunic country. However, I have never been there before, so look for someone to guide me..."

That's all Paula seems to have guessed the situation.

"I see. There's something a little strange about that country here. Besides, even if Leonard's people tried to go, wouldn't you let me in so easily..."

"You're right. Well, it doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen."

With that said, Lulu sees another Adventurers Union (Alliance) official Rava on this occasion.

Sure, because he should have been a rare adventurer, coming and going with Leonard and Lugung.

Rava says.

"My mother is a Lugnan (human). As a national, I'm from Leonard, but I know Lugung pretty well. I can come and go with that handout. But when Leonard's person is completely... it will still be difficult. I don't care if you're from another country, Lugung and Leonard suck."

Apparently, Ravah's ability to come and go with Lugung stemmed from his special circumstances.

Especially Leonard's human going to Lugung is quite, it seems, tough.

But if that's the case, you just have to go as a person from another country.

That was going to be clear because Moitz and Adler are going to forge the identities of the Lulu's.

"Is there anything else difficult about the nationality issue being cleared?

Iris asks Rava and Paula.

They looked at each other and then answered.

"It wouldn't have been a while ago, but now it is."

"Hey, I don't think you can still get in there if it's just sightseeing, or something like that"

Tilt your neck to this and Illis asks.

"It's, why?

Paula is

"Right now, in the Lugung merchant countries, we're trying to attack banned areas around the country, so hey. We can't afford to bring other people into sightseeing. Looks like a lot of men are conscripted into the army."

And Rava went on ahead.

"Well... that's what I'm going to do to get into the army. Maybe you'll let me in. I don't know about boulders..."
